I called Screen Bee last week set up the appointment for today. Bruce came on time and replaced the screens on all three of my screen doors and gave me a beautiful doggy door too. He didn't gouge me. He refurbished the screen doors I already had which were all torn up from the dogs and made them better than new. The dog door he installed was a used one but it works perfectly for our little muttley. He could have sold me all new items and I wouldn't have questioned it as our doors looked like they were ready for the dump. We had Screen Bee come out to screen 3 windows and 2 screen doors. Bruce and Ryan had them done in about an hour. Had I known how fast and reliable they were we would have called them a lot sooner. Pricing was good, they showed up on time, were very friendly, and did great quality work. Bruce was really honest and explained some things about what we thought we wanted but turns out we didn't actually need, including reusing an existing screen door frame. That saved us some money which we really appreciate. If we ever need screens we'll definitely work with them again. Bruce pleasantly paired the screens to the correct doors, replaced several, made them fit where it seemed they wouldn't, and provided the screws that the painters forgot to leave. " WTH I am only 4 miles away from her stupid place!!! So don't call them unless you are in Temple City and preferably next door to her place so she doesn't bother too much coming over, may be too stressful for her!!! Bruce and Mike came out, right on scheduled time, got everything in order, including a very tricky window with shutters that cannot be moved, and were out in good order. I love that they come to you. You do not need to measure or load up an old screen into your car. We had an issue where our dogs were going through our front screen. We had to keep the window closed in the heat of the summer which was not comfortable at all. They put an extra thick screen (think screen door frame) onto the screen that they repaired. It has been two months now and we have had the cool evening breeze coming through the window and the dogs have not been able to make an exit through the front screen. It was very nice working with Bruce! He returned my call quickly, explained prices and options over the phone, was punctual, made the screens onsite. I can't talk about price fairness, this is the first time we had to get screens but I appreciate that he lists them all on his website. No bad surprise. He listened to us regarding a double French door window, debating if we should go with swing/sliding doors or just a big frame. The price difference was big but he didn't push us into getting the more expensive solution.
