We came across Screen King through the reviews on Yelp and it was clear why they were so good with just the initand follow up phone conversations to set up the appointments and the delivery. Hugo came out to do the measurements and deliver the screens and he was the best of the best. He clearly loves what he does and our only disappointment us that we may never see him again because of the great product and service that Screen King provides. And when I referred to the great team at Screen King, this was reinforced when Hugo sang the praises of Ashley and Bianca who we spoke with and make sure that experiences like ours are the standard. The gentleman that came was very friendly and professional. He worked quickly, left 0 mess and made some great recommendations on how to maintain our newly replaced sliding screen door. Unbelievable service! Today is Thursday and my new sliding door screens were just installed. I called to schedule an estimate on Monday, Hugo came out Tuesday, measured and gave us an estimate. I responded to the Screen King estimate email to tell them that we wanted to proceed with the service. I was surprised that the woman at Screen Kings said that they would be able to build our screens on Wednesday and install on Thursday. Wow! Hugo just left. I contacted Screen Kings last week using the Yelp app. Within 10-15 minutes I got a call back from Hugo. He advised me of their rates and scheduled an appointment with me, at a time convenient for me. I needed the pick up and delivery service ($85) since my car is small and the screen door wouldn't fit. On a Friday, Hugo looked at the work I needed, gave me a reasonable estimate and collected the screens. Tuesday morning he returned with the repaired screens, and advice about how to keep them in good shape. Wow...just wow. I needed a new bedroom window screen..and a repair of my porch screen door. I have two kitties, and they like to "play" with my screens. My kitties were just lying near the screen one day, watching my backyard birds..and the screen buckled and fell off! My cats are indoors only, so I'm glad I didn't lose them. We recently had the pleasure of working with Screen King and it just might have been one of the best experiences we've ever had with a company. Hugo came out at exactly the time we set to give us an estimate to replace the screen portion on all of our screens, using the existing frames which were in good shape (they replaced all corners of each frame as this is their usual process) and completely replacing the sliding patio screen door as our dogs had really done a number on our existing one. He wore a protective mask during the entire interaction. The estimate was sent to us by email (at our request) within hours of Hugo coming out and as it was even less than we had anticipated we told them to go ahead. As we called for the estimate the day before the 3 day weekend, they returned immediately after the holiday to pick up the screens and take them back to their shop to complete all the work and returned and installed them two days later. At both appointments, (the one to pick them up and the one to bring them back), they had completed the job prior to ours a little early and called us to see if we would like them to come by early which worked out perfectly for us. Imagine a company that actually shows up for the appointment early!! The screens looked like new and the sliding door looked and worked great. We had them install a dog guard at the bottom of the sliding door and the design is actually classy, unlike any I've ever seen before. I highly recommend this company if you're planning to replace or repair your existing screens to enjoy the upcoming fall air. It was around $1300 for two custom screen doors (supposedly our two doors to the deck were not standard), some new window screens with the plastic frame and replacement of existing screens by fixing the frame. We have a lot of windows in our house so it was worth it. The service was prompt and efficient and I super appreciated the fact they were able to reuse most of the screens we had so we could save some money to pay for the screen doors, which we use everyday to get a cross wind in the house bc we don't have AC (yet). My neighbor used Screen King, he was happy so am I. I really enjoyed the service and the customer service I recieved from Screen King. So for $150 based on where I live They would come to my home take off our screens, take them to there shop and do all repairs or rescreen for an additional cost, then reinstall the screens. We have a two story house. I choose to save the $150 take the screens off myself take them to their shop and have them rescreen our screens. We had 10 screens plus our sliding back door screen. The price was very reasonable and they rescreened everything, they even put new wheels on the sliding back screen door. The improvement on the way our windows look is very impressive, of course while the screens were away I took the opportunity to clean the inside and outside of the windows and cleaned out the window tracks. I would Definitely recommend Screen King to do your screen repairs or rescreen your current screens. read more
