So I'm deliberately going lower just to make sure this gets read! Ian was GREAT, his quality was outstanding, his professionalism spot-on and the price was excellent: this is a 5-star company!! If you scroll down, you'll see some bad reviews. Let me explain: Yelp wants to give a 'balanced' presentation so even if Screen Solutions gets 200 great 5-star reviews, you will always see those 1-star reviews on the first page. They do not stand by their work. Premium price for inadequate service. Screen Solutions fixed a couple screens. Their price was higher than some other contractors but they have great Yelp reviews so we went for it. When the screens were later installed, we noticed significant sagging in one screen. We watched the screens get installed and there was no tugging or other abuse to the screens. It's just that the screens are fairly over sized and when they are put up, gravity kicks in. We contacted them and they initially blamed the installers. But when we mentioned that we supervised the installers they asked us to pay $95 just for them to come by to see the sagging and to access whether they can fix it (for an additional fee, I'm sure). We've dealt with lots of contractors. The good ones stand by their work and at the minimum would come by to take a look without charging more money. Note though that they communicated well, showed up on time, were friendly and respectful, wore masks, were efficient, and charged us the estimated price. So if the screens turned out fine, we would have been satisfied with them. But you know how it goes, the real test is how a business handles themselves when something doesn't go quite right. It's just aesthetics so we'll live with it. But we were disappointed in how they handled the situation, and we won't use them again or recommend them. read more

I called Ian in distress because my landlord in LA was trying to get away with renting the house he flipped to me with NO SCREENS on any of the windows. I have cats so without screens I wouldn't be able to open the windows. Ian let me know that according to the LA housing dept. the health code says that if a rented out place doesn't have screens, it doesn't pass the health and safety test.
