    I am SO happy I called Roger (owner of Roy's Screen Service). We bought a house recently and the sellers threw out all the screens, including the patio sliding screen door. I called Roger on a Tuesday, he gave me a quote over the phone, and scheduled us for the following Tuesday. When he arrived, he assessed all our windows, took measurements, and started to build the screens out of his truck / our front lawn. I was SO mesmerized. I tried to take measurements myself so I could order the screens from Home Depot and realized that all our windows are custom-sized which needed to be special-ordered. After watching Roger install just one screen, I realized I had measured the windows incorrectly, so I am so happy Roger came to save the day. He custom made 11 window screens and 1 sliding screen door. Everything looks beautiful! In terms of price, I don't think I would have saved much (or any at all) if I had purchased the screens directly from Home Depot. Worst yet, I probably would have paid MORE by buying the wrong sizes and not being able to return custom made screens. If you trust yourself to handle a hefty task of installing window screens - fantastic. But if you're like me and you don't trust yourself or your ability to properly measure even ONE window, then do yourself a favor and hire a pro like Roger! I promise you - you won't regret it. He finished the entire job in 4 hours while I was on work calls. Talk about efficiency. I AM SO HAPPY! Thank you Roger!

I wanted to remodel my wife's shower as a surprise while she was away. Justin was referred by someone to me. When he came he was all "yes sir" and polite. It started ok with the demo. What went wrong after that is what I've found since I actually got a proper company to do the work. 1. The floor was put in place without plumbing under the house 2. The floor was very unstable and bouncy 3. The drain he connected wasn't even glued to the drain line 4. The cement was placed incorrectly 5. He used some sealing mat4tial that he slapped with a brush that is actually not meant for shower. Then he starts putting up the hardiebacker cement boards without even putting up waterproofing paper!!! In the process he's complaining that I'm checking his work and asking what he's doing as if I don't have a right to make sure the job is done right. He finally comes to work one day to so called continue. Without telling me he took his tools and left and blocked my number!!! Overall an incompetent liar. I suppose I should thank God for having this happened since if he had continued all the leaks would have destroyed my house. Don't even think of giving him a job unless you want a disaster on your hand. Read other reviews not just mine

I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. It was clear it was time for a replacement. Before choosing James, I got a quote from a very popular windows and doors company in Orange County. James, the owner of Lucero's Windows and Doors, not only offered the best price but was also extremely responsive. He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.
