    Very convenient and they did a great job. We needed a screen repair of one slider and a smaller screen as well. The company is responsive.

    It's been three years since Screenmobile replaced my patio screen door. It's still working like new. I'd definitely use them again.

    We love our new shutters from Made in the Shade…read more We desperately needed new blinds for the kitchen and family room. We received three reasonable bids, but Made in the Shade was our best option after a small negotiation. Chelsea did a fabulous job explaining what was available to us. She listened, had a great sense of humor, and allowed us to ask questions and explore different design options. We even met Brando, the owner, who came out to discuss our order briefly. Then Josh came out to install our 5 new shutters. He was fast, very polite, and did a wonderful job. There are many options for new shutters, and perhaps, once they are installed, who you purchased them from will not ever be noticed. But we all know the problems that can occur with delays, poor installation, and sloppy workmanship. Made in the Shade was incredible, a joy to work with, and very high quality. The shutters arrived two weeks earlier than promised, so if there was one downside, it was that I had to hurry and paint the kitchen--not much of a downside. We highly recommend Made in the Shade.

But since taking our money, she's completely stopped responding to messages. It's unacceptable and unethical to treat customers this way. If you come across Chelsea working with any curtain or window treatment company in the area, be extremely cautious. This experience has been a nightmare and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing!

Chris Louie, the owner, was incredibly friendly and responsive right from the start. After I submitted a quote request online, he contacted me almost immediately and came out with a huge variety of samples. Seeing the different shutter styles, sizes, and widths in person was so helpful because what I *thought* I wanted actually changed once he walked me through the options. He really took his time explaining everything, which made the process much less overwhelming. I also appreciated that he gave me a few days to think it over instead of pushing for a quick decision. After comparing everything, I decided to go with Axent -- and I'm so glad I did. The pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and the delivery and installation went smoothly. The install team was fantastic. They worked efficiently, cleaned everything up, and even vacuumed before leaving -- it honestly looked like they had never even been there. Helpful tip: if you're unsure about shutter sizes or styles, ask Chris to walk you through the differences in person with the samples. It makes choosing so much easier. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

I needed a 12 year Hunter Douglas headrail remanufactured because the old one is obsolete. Chris took my information and called Hunter Douglas and they made a new one and he came out and took the old one down and installed the new one, all under warranty. Chris wouldn't even let me buy him lunch. My wife and I are so pleased that there are businesses that are still honest and do what they say they will do. Thank you Chris!

    Unprofessional and no follow through. Dishonest. Our Hunter…read moreDouglas Shades were warrantied transferred from another company to Sierra Home. We called Ray in April when our tension string broke again. We let him know the shades would have to be taken down and sent into HD for repair. He informed us the first available repair was mid-June and booked us for a 10 am appointment (not a window but a specific appt). We had conflicts that day but didn't want to rebook out 2 more months so had family cover. At 12:00 pm he finally called to say he was running late (!) and asked for specific directions. I gave him turn by turn directions to the house. He said he would be there in 30 min. He called 45 min later and was lost and needed me to give him directions as he drove to house so I spent another 10 min driving him there. He walked in, saw that he needed to take down the shades and said he couldn't do it without his partner so he left! Mind you, I'd informed him of this when we booked the original appointment 2 months before! He told me he'd call me immediately to rebook when he got back to the office. No call... I called the next day and left a message. No call back. I called again.... No call back. I called again. You guessed it. It's been two weeks now and I've not heard a peep. Having read the other reviews about folks not getting their shades back, I'm guessing we dodged a huge bullet, but boy am I miffed that I wasted two months of my time waiting for non-existent service and that this lousy business holds the warranty to my shades. Don't do business with this guy. He isn't interested in customer service. He doesn't listen to his clients. He doesn't know how to use GPS, wastes client's time and doesn't provide basic service. He isn't honest - if you're not going to bother to repair my shades at least have the courtesy to tell me, don't flake on me!
