I did not use it for 2 months as the summer heat did not allow it. I pulled the screen across and the bottom portion was pulled away. 7 screens and a sliding door. He was an hour and a half late to the appointment, and priced his bid way high but reasonable for a do it today onsite job. I said, Ok "Let's get them done today," because I wanted to close the chapter on replacing the screen material, but then suddenly he wasn't a mobile screen guy anymore and wanted to take all the screens with him to finish them off site at his convenience - although his price was almost 3x what it cost me to have them done offsite at the local hardware store who does them. He was a nice guy, but he wasted his time, and my time because I could have pulled them off myself (5 minutes - it's a one story) and taken them to him or anyone else. I just wanted them done and would have paid his bid of almost $900 for it. But not if someone takes them away to do them and comes back in 7 - 10 days. Update: I sent him a message that after the carpets were finished and dry, if he wants to reduce his bid, and take them to do them offsite, we could work it out at a time when things were less hectic for him. Never heard back so I ended up taking the screens to the local hardware store 10 minutes away where the cost was 1/3 his bid. They have jigs and original screen etc., too, and the wait for them is the same as he quoted me. I am sure he does good work but I don't do business with someone who tells me he can do something onsite, is late to an appointment by hours, and then wants to do the work offsite.
