Very disappointing experience with ScreenMobile. The technician arrived late to the scheduled appointment. After I showed him a standard-size sliding glass screen door that needed re-screening, I was quoted $250, which is nearly three times what I paid previously for the same service. That prior work was done by a different company, not ScreenMobile. When I declined the quote and decided I would contact the company that had re-screened it previously, he turned around and began giggling, laughing, and mumbling under his breath as he walked away. That behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Pricing aside, no customer should be treated that way. Based on the lack of professionalism alone, I would not recommend ScreenMobile. read more

If you want to be over charged continue reading I hired Screenmobile to replace the screen on a back door. The estimate was for $189.00 plus $50.00 for a pet screen upgrade, they also have a $250.00 minimum. I agreed to the $250.00 minimum. The technician was here and I asked him if the 2 small screens (12' x 24') could be included, he said he could not authorize that but would call the office and during that conservation I heard YES. The technician replaced the 2 small screens and after the job was complete he submitted a bill for $490.00. I told him I did not authorize that amount. Screenmobile submitted a bill for $119.00 for each screen they replaced. I did not authorize any amount over $250.00, they stated it was $69.00 for the rescreen and $50.00 for the pet screen upgrade. The owner Austin said he would credit the upgrade but still wanted the $69.00 each for rescreen. I told him that I would never have approved $69.00 for a rescreen since I had extensive experience in the manufacturing and rescreening industry. I can buy all the materials and tools required from Amazon for $20.00. The technician replaced the heavy-duty pet screen on the door while the door was still attached to the channel which is held to the jam by 3 hinges. It was noted after the top of the screen was replaced that the top hinge was broken, it was not broken prior to the start of their work. I had to use all my weight to hold the door in place or the door would have been broken or bent in half. read more

Smooth sailing from requesting an appointment, (,had to cancel and reset), from them coming (had an afternoon appointment, they called and asked if they could come earlier--YES!, to the installation. It's all about the money at this business. Workmanship& Customer satisfaction is not priority. Poor stretching of screen. Cording was installed poorly. Which cost me a second rescreening @ an additional 79$ after paying 139$ originally . Second time around the cord was upgraded. Screen stretched properly. But the handle hardware was installed on the wrong side of the frame . To many drop offs and pick ups involved. Too much money , time , gas and loss of homeowner usage involved to accomplish a simple job from a well established company. I've experienced and discovered. Once this company has your money . I've used screen mobile for past services and always been happy. Recently the morning sun was directly shining in our bedroom and it was so bright and hot. Their technician came out in a very timely matter and installed FANTASTIC 90% black out screens! The room was instantly much cooler and comfortable in terms of brightness. We ordered these retractable screen doors from Screenmoble after seeing them at a friends house. At the first call I was given an appointment. It was a month out, but the scheduler explained that COVID was interfering with their scheduling and that installers had been ill. The installer arrived on time today to perform the installation. He was unable to install the mobile screen on one of our three doors but gave a good explanation why. He completed the install of the other 2 doors in about 90 minutes. Everything works well, seems solid, and he cleaned up the area around the doors. The installer, Austin, was polite, respectful, professional, and he wore a mask! Before leaving he made sure we knew how to operate the doors and explained the warranty. We are very pleased with the doors and the installer was super. read more

I never got a call back what do ever. So I ended up calling there shop just to get there answering service. That took them two days to get in touch with me. When their service man analyzed our screen, he stated that our frame was in good shape so we might need to just replace the screen itself and put on new wheels. That saved us about $300! I'd actually called another local business first and when he realized he was out of his depth, he recommended ScreenMobile... (...Because they've been at this forever and really know what they're doing!") which says something. They arrived adhering to all COVID-19 safety protocols and were really respectful of our home. Turns out that the first guy was confused because all of the screens in our home were in backwards (previous owners left a lot of surprises) and because of that most of them were bent etc. Raul got them out, measured and a return appointment was set for installation. My gardener who damaged the screen indicated to ME that, as with the broken window, he'd take care of both. He arranged for glass replacement. When I mentioned Screenmobile to him we clearly misunderstood each other so Screenmobile did not communicate with the gardener. I gave the gardener's name and phone to her. She was initially nasty. I had no price estimate, had given her no full name info except my email and home address. She hadn't the decency to apologize, just sent a PDF receipt copy paid by the gardener. My outdoor roll down screen fell from it's mounting on the beam days before the 2 year anniversary of installation. Austin first said it would be covered if within 2 years, then retracted that statement. He said it would be $200. After haggling with him, he deducted $50. I asked for a higher up. He said he was the manager. He blamed the wind and said that the screws were bent. THE SCREEN WAS ROLLED UP. Within the first year the side mounts came out on both screens in the wind. I was told the screens could withstand the desert wind. They did not. Austin came out and replaced the screws and cables but did not check the screws holding the apparatus to the beam. If the screws on the side didn't hold, why would the top ones? I was very happy with them until this point. I don't mind paying, but not when I'm paying for poor installation. read more
