There's also another $50 third-party fee to get a medical waiver, which they never mentioned and is ridiculous and unnecessary... They try to say it was a state law. I've been coming to this location about twice a year for the past three years. The staff is okay...not particularly friendly, but not rude either. The location is convenient, and the space is always clean, which I appreciate. However, I did have a negative experience when I reached out via text with concerns about my tattoo healing process. I was reassured that the discoloration wasn't scarring, but after consulting with several other tattoo removal professionals, I was told it actually was. Additionally, they don't ask important details like how long ago you got your tattoo, which is crucial information when it comes to safe and effective removal. I also visited another Sculpt LA location previously, and it was such a poor experience that it pushed me to leave Sculpt altogether. If you're set on going to a Sculpt location, this one is definitely better--but if you're open to other businesses, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Sculpt DTLA] specifically regarding their cool tone treatment services and lack of customer service I was already a patient for tattoo removal when I decided to try their cool tone treatment which cost $4000. Unfortunately, I saw no results from the cool tone treatment, which was quite disheartening. I expressed my concerns to a staff member named Anna, who initially seemed understanding and agreed to apply a credit from the cool tone package to my ongoing tattoo removal sessions. However, when I attempted to use this credit, I informed by Anna that it was no longer valid. This sudden change in their commitment was not only surprising but also deeply frustrating. I reached out to Dr. Hau, the doctor on staff, via email but received no response whatsoever. Anna then agreed to give me 4 free treatments, but again when I went to go use them after the summer months, I was told the Dr was no longer with the practice and she kept insinuating that I'm looking for "free treatments". Literally I have screen shots of both times she agreed to something and changed her mind. This experience has left me feeling deceived, robbed and mistreated by this practice. It's disheartening to see such a lack of customer service ethics and accountability in a professional setting. Not only were the treatments ineffective for me, but the management of my concerns and the broken promises have been extremely unprofessional. The facility is spotless, the staff are friendly and always happy to see you, and they're very thorough with information and your well-being before and after procedure. My go-to person is Tina Ovsepyan and she always does an amazing job with my dermal fillers. I've done chin filler and lip filler with her. I can't remember how much each were separately but in total both were about $1000. I go in with a general direction, as I honestly have no clue what would look good on me, and trust her vision because she delivers fantastic results. She looks for what will accentuate my features within the requests I give her and tries to make it as little cost as possible for me. She'll tell me how much syringe she wants to use and lets me determine if I want more afterwards. I've never really opted for more because she utilizes it so well. TLDR: Highly recommend this place, and go to Tina for fantastic service and results! read more

I went to this location because a coworker of mine referred me to them it was my very first time getting lip fillers and the injector did a horrible job back in 2022 the bumps never dissolved on their own completely very nice lady but her work wasn't great she migrated my top lip and it had little bumps and bubbles and I would never see a big difference on the size of my lips and it was because of her injecting technique she injected more outside of the vermilion boarder I went to another location ST med spa in Encino I did a research on then and I saw Cynthia had good reviews and guys go to her her work is beautiful she gave me the size I wanted her work gives me a lot of compliments the only issue was the work I got at Sculpt the moment cynthia saw me she told me what looked wrong on my lips until today i decided to dissolve my top lip and a little of my bottom lip it had small bubbles as well. Anoush was my injector here at Sculpt like i mentioned very nice lady but her work isn't nice. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at Sculpt DTLA for treating hyper pigmentation with laser. I scheduled the appointment because they had good reviews and their website was informative, but the in person experience was not good and I should have known better. My practitioner, Angelic, was very kind but she seemed hesitant to perform laser on my skin type, even though it can be done safely and effectively when done right. I should have stopped then and there but decided to trust them and went forward with 3 concurrent laser sessions. On my last visit, she tried a different laser at a different setting which caused bleeding and inflammation, which I was told is normal, but unfortunately I ended up with even MORE hyper pigmentation in areas of my face that I didn't have any to begin with. The attached photo is 2 months post-op, showing new hyper pigmentation in an area that I didn't have before, despite following all after care instructions and avoiding sunlight. Even with all of this, I was willing to leave at least 3 stars knowing that every person's skin reacts differently and that there are never any guaranteed results. I'm leaving only 1 star because when I called in 2 months post-op to report that my hyper pigmentation had worsened, and to see if they could do anything to resolve it, they simply told me someone would call me back and never did. Patient care is just as important post-op as it is pre-op, and I left feeling their concern was only as far as getting my payments, not my long-term satisfaction or results. read more

Weirdest consultation I've ever had...she just stood there looked at me. No insight, no process or protocol. I explained to her my concerns, and then she told me how much it was and that was it. She could've not had me get naked and just tell me it was 2K for three sessions would've been a huge timesaver. Which mind you is not a bad rate. I went to this clinic about 4 weeks ago for a Botox brow lift. I originally thought the doctor was going to perform my procedure, but it was a nurse there. He was super patient with me and answered all my questions since it was my first time with any injections. Ended up FaceTiming with my doctor prior to the injections. I got 15 units on my brows and 5 on my forehead as a recommendation from the nurse to even out a forehead wrinkle that may occur from the brow lift. The nurse said that it'll be a very natural look so I assumed it would be subtle but noticeable. The whole procedure was less painful than getting extractions from facials. I was done in about 20 minutes and was told that the final results will come in 2 weeks. I noticed right away my eyelids dropping and went online to check after a few days and it said wait 2 weeks. It's been 4 weeks now and I got movement back in my brows about of a week ago, but now my left brow has more expressive and my right (and originally droopier) brow is a bit frozen. I read you're supposed to get touch ups to keep it even, but I'm not gonna up my droopy lids. I'm rating it 2 stars cuz the staff was pretty nice, but the end result wasn't great. I would have rated it a bit higher if eyebrows lifted at least, but it hasn't so it's been a disappointing experience. read more

BURNED. INFECTED. AND SCARRED!! Do not go here!!! I went here for laser tattoo removal and the incompetent Doctor Hau admittedly put the setting on the machine WAY too high, to the point it burned me, leaving open wounds, and gashes which quickly turned into PAINFUL, INFECTED, INFLAMMED, PUS-FILLED WOUNDS! I've been to three other laser tattoo removal places for years and NEVER had such a horrifying experience than I did here. I went to Dr. Tattoff and was halfway through treatment when they closed and decided to try this place. I came to them with two half faded tattoos. Four appointments with them for 6 months and the tattoos ALWAYS STAYED THE SAME. This was my fifth treatment with them and this time not only did the tattoo not fade, but it left PAINFUL, open infected wounds. Not only that but you can see the doctor DID NOT even go over the tattoo! ITS CROOKED! He completely missed the tattoo! The days following my procedure, as always, I took extremely good care of the area, cleaning and applying ointment as suggested by the even more incompetent nurses. I have many doctors and nurses in my family who looked over both tattoos following the procedure and they were getting more and more mortified by the day. They were shocked at what a terrible job this "doctor" at Sculpt DTLA did. I went back to Sculpt three days after my appointment with horrible infected wounds. The rude, incompetent nurse insisted this was normal. What's even better is she said "Oh I've seen way worse." - REALLY?! That's reassuring... I could not even lift my wrist from the pain, AND I WAS LEAKING GREEN PUS! I said this is not normal, that is a lie. I've had three tattoos COMPLETELY removed and this never happened. I said I need to get my money back ASAP before I go to urgent care for antibiotics. The nurse was dismissive and rude. Insisting I was wrong and that this happens all the time. Doctor Hau then came on the phone to diagnosis me on FaceTime (high inappropriate and dangerous). He said this is an infection and "Only a first degree burn. It's not a second degree burn yet" - ONLY?! YET?! He said he was only following what the machine guidelines said to use - He admittedly had no idea what he was doing. Said he was an urgent care doctor before (therefore no experience in tattoo removal) and said I wouldn't need antibiotics. Then he said it wouldn't scar. Clearly just trying to cover his ass. Best of all they said they would not refund me for this procedure. The one which left me burned, infected and scarred. They said they could only refund me for the two procedures I prepaid for... so I only had two procedures left out of 7 and my tattoos are exactly the same as when I first started? The next day the infections worsened. I went to an urgent care and they said His diagnosis was absurd and that I absolutely needed antibiotics. They immediately PUT ME ON ORAL ANTIBIOTICS!!
