I needed my hair done for a HS reunion I was attending. I live in MA and booked an appointment at Sculptures (Southington location) after reading the many positive reviews. I worked with Paula and she was amazing!!! She had an incredibly positive, upbeat personality that immediately put me at ease. I was worried about going to someone I didn't know. I actually decided to have her cut my hair and then style it. Paula was the perfect combination of a very good listener and a very talented stylist. She even made extra time for me after I was running late AND went the extra mile and offered to put a glaze on my hair for an extra boost of shine. Thank you Paula!!! If you want the best stylist ever (Kate ) she is THE girl to go to! I followed her to Sculputres after she delicately fixedly my over-processed hair back to health years ago. I never thought it could happen!. Kate knew exactly what to do and still does to this day. She is incredibly professional and one of the most down-to-earth people I know. My old stylist moved to Ohio and I had not had my hair done in 2+ years because of fear and not knowing where to go. I finally made an appointment at sculptures with Kristin O and I will continue being her client for as long as she continues doing hair. I wanted a very specific balayage look, and a very particular type of hair cut. She listened to everything I had to say and really gave me what I wanted - not what she thought was best. The results were amazing. I was in the chair for a long time because I have so much hair, and she even had to double up on her appointments because I was taking so long. Rarely do I write reviews, but cannot give enough praise to Kristin O'hea; a Master Stylist at Sculptures Hair Salon in Newington; if you are in need of a new stylist, looking for one or just wanting a change check her out!!! She is by far, hands done the best stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of going too (and have tried many). I have a busy and active lifestyle, and really have little desire to spend a lot of time doing my hair. I go to both sculptures salons, Newington and Southington, both are very professional and very accommodating. I see Bill to cut and style my hair for many years, love it. I see Liz in Southington for my eye lashes and she is very accommodating, especially when the last minute i needed a fill before my honeymoon and she stayed to fill my lashes even after she worked all day doing a wedding party make-up. I have been going to Sculptures for approximately 11 years. I go to David who is AWESOME! We have a great rapport where we can say anything to each other (sometimes TOO much is being said!).
