We are still in that phase where we sit and stare in awe at what ADH accomplished for us. This major construction journey began last fall, when I thoroughly researched every well-reviewed home remodeling company serving this area. I only considered companies with more than 4 stars on Yelp and Google. We interviewed and received bids from five of them, and we were comfortable choosing ADH. We now know we made exactly the right decision. Amazingly, ADH came to us with a proposal that included everything on our wish list, and at a significantly more reasonable price than any of the others. We were impressed by their showroom, and we were especially drawn to ADH because it has its own manufacturing facility, where it custom-makes the high-end cabinetry it installs. Osa was our designer, and she was terrific. Osa was easy to work with, always available when we needed her help, and supportive in every way imaginable. Spending at this level, and contemplating at least a month of daily construction in the home, is stressful. Yet Osa assured us and explained the process in ways that alleviated many of our concerns. We felt fortunate to have her at our side all along the way. Every single ADH employee that we interacted with was a pleasure to deal with. Andrey was our project manager, and his competence and calm demeanor throughout were always helpful. Our remodel involved having workers in our home every day for a month. The respect and care they showed for our home and our comfort throughout the construction period were above and beyond anything we expected. I am posting pictures of the before and after, but no photo can do justice to the dramatic difference these changes made to our home. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, the countertops are magnificent, and the fit and finish of every part this project are first-class all the way. Obviously, I highly recommend ADH for any level of remodeling you are thinking about. You should do whatever amount of research makes you comfortable, but to the extent that customer reviews make a difference to you, know that this customer is an enthusiastic endorser of this terrific company.

Comparing to the other quotes I had obtained the price seemed fair and I felt comfortable booking with them due to their affiliation with Costco. From the consultation to the scheduling of appointments and the installation every thing went smoothly. I had lots of questions and inquires about my project and they responded quickly and were very patient with me. Although a smaller project and my budget was limited I still appreciate the attention they provided to me for the kitchen counters and backsplash renovation. The team were very particular with the finer details of the house, including lots of insulation and placement of windows to maximize natural light. Sergeii and his construction team worked very hard on the project and left the property in great shape. We had a couple of minor change orders throughout the construction of the project, but this was expected with a fully custom project of this nature. The process was so much easier than I expected. Rod presented the development process and details in a very realistic manner. The design phase of the ADU took a little time to come to completion because my mom continued to modify the floor plan and the finish out of the kitchen as we moved through the design phase. The team was very patient with my mom and helped us to come up with a design that best served her needs of her space. I like that they paid close attention to the practicalities of the bathroom and the storage in the unit. I think designer Irene did a great job in this area. The crew was very professional. The site was always cleaned up after each workday. Communication with the office was good throughout most of the construction process. One minor thing that impacted the project was the typical delays that there are with inspections. But this was not a problem for us as we were always made aware of when each inspection was scheduled and any resulting delays. Zero problems. Update 3-23-17: Used them again for laminate and baseboards in my business. Again they were much cheaper than HD, Lowes, or any of the other local places. First the good: Voss…read moreis the primary contact for the company. The bid was for installing tile in the guest bathtub surround. The bid was significantly lower than the competitors. It included tearing out the old tile and Sheetrock down to the studs, installing concrete backer, moisture barrier and new tile. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that came up that necessitated a couple of change orders. This is where some contractors take the opportunity to price gouge. I felt that Voss's change order prices were fair. The finished product came out great. Now for the bad: We got a quote for installing new slides on the drawers and soft close hinges on the doors in the bathroom cabinet. The drawers had to be narrowed to accommodate the slides. Then they had to be made shallower to fit over the slides. It was at that point that Voss discovered the drawers wouldn't fit due to the framing of the cabinet. The end result is that the drawers are unusable, don't work and the modifications are irrreversable. So we paid $650 for a cabinet that is unusable. We are now faced with more expense to make it right. That includes possibly having to replace the entire cabinet. I believe the cabinet project was outside of Voss's skillset. He should have anticipated some of the issues that would arise. I would rate the tile project 5 stars and the cabinet project 0 stars. I have included some photos of the cabinet.
