Ive had better follow on customer service from Quicky Lube on a simple oil change. Had them throw Ohlins coilovers on my Audi, i was not happy with the ride. Instead of being offered to bring it back to discuss what could b adjusted, i was told to toss the keys in the mail slot and leave it? The preload on the rear springs was set off and someone cranked the adjustment damper knobs into oblivion and messed up the shocks, these clowns dont know what they are doing and will gaslight you into thinking they do. Never go back and im out a few grand now in parts and labor. read more

After requesting a quote from a nearby company for an oil change, I did a reality check with my dealership. I was told the quote ($264) was too high and given a referral to SD Garage. SD Garage charged $120 (cash price) and Jeff, the owner, was great. Evidently his company has extensive experience working on BMWs. I will be back. read more

For these past months, I've been thinking that I was having an issue with my car but needed a 2nd opinion. I had an issue with my car performance, and I thought it was abnormal and something needed to be replaced. I was determined to get it addressed, but I was a bit lost regarding who to go to for a proper diagnosis. After hearing multiple good reviews from friends, Yelp, and even random strangers about SDGarage, I decided to give them a chance. Long story short, I did not regret my decision. When I first got in contact with Jeff and Carson, they asked me about the issues I was having with my car. I explained the issue to them, and they reassure me that they will take of it; however, I would need to leave my car with them for a couple of days for diagnosis (my car issue would appear up inconsistently at random times). I was a bit surprised at first, as other shops would usually only offer diagnose within the same day and figure out the issue. Jeff told me the plan on how he was going to tackle the issue-- he was going to drive my car as his daily for about 3-5 days to see if my car is performing as it should. That's exactly what he did, and he reported to me that that the car has no issues with the car. I was so relieved, as I didn't have to replace anything. Jeff also didn't charge me for diagnosing my car for 3 days, which is crazy. This tells me that Jeff and Carson care more about quality work and providing good customer service. As I mentioned earlier, other places would want to cash grab and get you out as soon as possible without doing a thorough diagnosis. I felt bad that they had to go through the trouble, so I ended up having them do another job (exhaust install) for me as a thank you. I was watching Carson do the install the whole time, and he was extremely careful to not scratch the exhaust. He took his time to make sure that the exhaust was aligned and installed properly. After the install was completed, he asked me if everything sounds and looks good. I was extremely happy with how it turned out, not only from how the exhaust looks/sounds but also the service. Not to mention, they offered me a very good and fair price. Nonetheless, if you want your car to be well taken care of and in the hands of car experts, SDGarage is the place to go. I finally stumbled upon SD Garage by recommendation from a friend, and after chatting with them the night before, my car was on their lift the next morning, and all the work was done by lunch time. Competitive prices, they know what they're doing, and the best part is that since it is a smaller shop, you know that the person doing the work on your car is the person that knows everything, rather than a lower skilled apprentice of the shop! Came in after getting a flat tire on my 320i. Lucky for me, Jeff had an available tire size. Tires were mounted, wheels balanced and then I got an alignment. Car drives so much smoother now and also drives straight, which is a weird feeling. Guess I should have done that earlier. There's a nice lounge to wait in and plenty of things to do while waiting for the work. They were very accommodating with the schedule so thank you for that, SD Garage. They have a high-tech tire and balancing machine, which probably will save me money over the long run (MPG) and I'm sure a lot of performance guys will like their touchless tire machine. I always heard workers and employees at other shops asking if their shop had it, only to be told "sorry we don't." Thanks SD Garage! read more

I was very unhappy with this shop considering everyone recommended it. I had an appointment to have something looked at on my car. It took 4 days for them to even look at my car. Which I get they were busy, but they shouldn't have made the appointment. I continued to contact them with very slow response times. Once they figured out what was wrong it was yet 2 more days and they still had not worked on the car. I ended up taking it to another shop near by and they fixed tue same issues same day for $300 less. The communication and slow turn around time were the biggest issues for me. Also the guy who I originally talk to when i dropped off my car was kind of arrogant. Edit: Few hours after I submitted this review they had messaged me they had seen it. The fact that this shop is only staffed by three people, and yet is by far the hardest working, most professional shop I've ever been to. Turns out SD Garage has grown a bit in the last couple of years and now they offer Touchless Tire Changes, Road Force Balancing and Alignments. I went in for a tire change and had a chance to survey the machinery. This is the real deal - Corghi Master J and Hunter Road Force Elite which are the best in the business. There are a few guys that work there now, but I got the owner Jeff and Carson who together treated my wheels like fine art. If you care about your rims, you need a touchless machine. Not a lot of places have these because they are so expensive. Second, certain cars like my BMW M3 are very sensitive to having perfectly balanced wheels. SD Garage uses the full road force optimization process to ensure there is as little weight needed as possible. Finally, it is about the details - they remove the old weights and leftover glue residue, use color matched weights, have sleeved sockets to protect the paint... I love it.
