I dealt with a significant plumbing issue involving a wastewater line that required extensive repairs. While management has stated that all work and testing have been completed, the unit still has a noticeable odor that worsens when the windows and doors are closed. At this point, the unit is only tolerable with constant ventilation, which is not a reasonable or acceptable living condition. Despite raising this concern multiple times: Management continues to maintain that the unit is "habitable" There has been no clear or urgent plan to resolve the odor Concerns are being deferred to a later inspection rather than addressed promptly I was also told for over a month that paperwork related to the repairs would be sent to me. After repeated follow-ups, I was ultimately informed that the owners do not want to share the documentation. This lack of transparency is concerning and leaves me questioning whether the issue has truly been resolved--especially since the odor in my unit persists. I was displaced for nearly two months, and although some rent credits were issued, I am now being expected to resume full rent even though the issue has not been fully resolved. Overall, this experience has been disappointing due to the lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability. While things may appear resolved on paper, the actual living conditions suggest otherwise. For anyone considering renting with this company, I would strongly recommend paying close attention to how concerns are handled and whether issues are fully resolved--not just documented as such.

Unfortunately it kept going up every year from there on, by $100 each year. Then they chose to mix it up and raise it by $200, and we finally decided to leave. When discussing why this was happening, they just told us it was their algorithm and they had no control over the price. They were kind and polite, but it's frustrating to have the roof over my head threatened by an algorithm. Nearly every service request ended with a subpar bandaid. The most frustrating was a complaint that the bathroom ventilation (a tiny window in the shower) wasn't enough to clear out the moisture, which was causing mold, peeling paint and setting off the smoke detectors. Their fix was to put blinds over the window. When I complained again months later because the issues persisted, they made a big stink of it and finally agreed to install a vent fan. I wouldn't say I was a gold star tenant, but the decisions made by this company felt systematically hostile towards their customers. At least their clients get a big pay day I guess. Also Tara was incredibly kind and professional.

I came in with the information I saw on their website, so the fact she went on about how the unit was unavailable before checking and correcting herself was odd. I would not consider this complex based off my experience with the leasing agent alone. Every question was met with weird passive aggressiveness. Zero notification of any kind. Calling the phone number doesn't help. They either don't return your call, or will tell you someone will - and no one does. I have now received a red tag from SDGE for the kitchen stove ventilation system- meaning it's a hazardous condition to live in, and due to my experience with maintenance and lack of any communication, I don't have faith this will be resolved in any sort of urgent manner. Or even resolved at all. It is concerning to see that the lack of response, communication delays, and maintenance unresponsiveness to issues is a reoccurring complaint among reviews here- and it's surprising to see there has been zero action taken to improve this process over time. I would encourage anyone to read the negative reviews because they are accurate.

They offer a wide variety of locations with different housing sizes and pricing. In order to view an apartment, it's very simple and I love a self tour. The thing I love the most though is the communication. They are quick to respond to all of my questions, extremely accommodating, and great problem solvers. A big shout out to Anna, for always answering all my questions and being incredibly friendly. Whenever I want to live somewhere new in San Diego, I'll be checking there site first! The apartment themselves are amazing too. Honestly they have been greatly priced and well taken care of. I've lived in City Heights and North Park, and both locations were beautiful, with little to no problems.

We…read morewere genuinely interested in touring this apartment complex after my boyfriend found it through Apartment List, where it clearly gave us the option to book an appointment for a tour. Since he booked the tour for the same day, he called the property just to confirm the appointment. The lady immediately came off with an attitude (which I was already off by that) and asked him, "Did you apply?" We, as many people would, didn't apply because we wanted to SEE THE PROPERTY FIRST before deciding if we even wanted to live there. She kept insisting, with an attitude the entire time, that we shouldn't have been able to book a tour because she was the one who set up the website and supposedly made it so people couldn't schedule tours that way. Well, clearly we WERE able to book one. So instead of realizing there may have been an issue or misunderstanding with the website, she felt the need to pull the "I'm the property owner" card. Also, my boyfriend was calm about it too because we were actually interested in touring this place and even asking when we can tour it. She could have easily explained politely instead of making him feel like he did something wrong. We probably reached her at a bad time in her life which is not an excuse because we were not mean. As a property owner or manager or whatever you call yourself, you should know BETTER and have some respect!

Instead, the guest parking here is abused nightly by residents treating it like permanent parking. Some vehicles sit there for days at a time. Expired permits are ignored. Some cars don't even appear to have permits at all. Management is clearly aware of these ongoing issues and continues to do nothing about it. After coming home from a long day of work around midnight, I was forced to wait for hours just to find a single available spot. No resident should have to sit in their car until nearly dawn because parking rules are not being enforced. I'm posting this here because I currently don't know where else to escalate the issue, but once I find the proper channel, I absolutely will be filing a much more detailed complaint. The parking situation here has become completely unreasonable.
