I am so grateful for Daniel and all his help in fixing my windshield today. So this week Monday I discovered a crack on my front windshield which was a surprise to say the least. So that afternoon I contacted SDK auto about my situation and instantly I received a phone call back minutes later from a really nice, courteous gentleman named Daniel. I gave him all the car info and details and he was able to offer me an immediate quote over the phone which I appreciated. Also, I asked Daniel if he was available anytime this week on Wednesday to do the fix and he checked and said he could make it (merely one day notice, amazing!). We set up an 8AM appt, he showed earlier today with a mask on and safety protocols in place and started working right away...little did I go back home inside and do a few household chores that I receive a call back from Daniel telling me he was all done! My experience with Daniel was incredible. I was driving on the highway on my way to school when a rock fell on my windshield and cracked my windshield pretty bad. When I acquired my 1990 Bronco a couple months ago it was in desperate need of a new windshield, but I kept putting it off and set to work on all the smaller repairs I could do myself. Finally deciding I had procrastinated on this enough and wanting to get it done before I left town, I used yelp's new request a quote service and sent out messages to 10 different places in L.A. that would replace windshields, and not only was Daniel the first to respond but he was able to work with my schedule and come out the next day to replace it. Being an older car, some places responded that they "didn't have it in stock and wouldn't be getting any anytime soon" and another sent me a seemingly informative response to the naked eye but included part numbers that were, in fact, for the wrong model year. On top of all that, Daniel was also extremely competitive with his prices (it cost me $150 out the door for the new windshield and install). When coming out to replace the windshield on the bronco, Daniel was also extremely polite and did a great job. Just great old-fashioned customer service and attention to detail! He even noticed the fingerprints on the side window and asked if I was having issues with it (all the marks are from holding it up when I replaced the regulator earlier this week, I just haven't gotten around to windexing it yet). As I was driving home from work on a Thursday afternoon all of the sudden the window on the driver side wouldn't go up anymore, it felt like it was stuck. Just had my Toyota Matrix winshield repaired by Daniel , he did such a great job. We had a small rock hit me on the highway that a made a small crack, over the course of a few months the crack got bigger and bigger. A month or two ago, on a Sunday evening, the track on my front driver's side window broke without any provocation; the window abruptly started sliding down without warning, and regressed into the door.
