Now called Seafoam Coffee. In case you are confused, this quaint coffee house is now called Seafoam Coffee, as new owners took over in September. We had flat whites fresh, flaky crossaints and enjoyed our morning on their patio. Everything was great. Little jars of jam would be a nice touch. I stopped by here earlier today with my family for our morning coffee. Whenever we go on vacation, we try to hit up a new coffee shop every morning, and on this day we ended up heading over to Sea Foam Coffee. This coffee shop is located in The Strand but sits in the back of the building, which you can walk through to reach it. Honestly, without Yelp and the sign outside, I would have never known this place even existed. The shop itself is tiny but has some outdoor seating. Even though it's small, it's cheery with bright white walls, light blue shelves, and a display case with a few baked goods inside. For my coffee, I decided on an iced Third Coast Latte while my wife went with an iced Boardwalk Latte. It was only after I ordered that I noticed the fall menu and realized I would have liked to try the brown butter pumpkin latte instead. In any case, the menu described mine as iced cookie butter, brown butter, almond, and butterscotch latte with cookie butter cold foam, while my wife's was shortbread, cookie butter, and white mocha made with cinnamon milk and topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and caramel drizzle. It seemed like all the coffees here had a long list of ingredients, so it wasn't the fastest place in the world, but that didn't matter to us. My coffee tasted good and I especially liked the cookie butter flavor that came through, both in the drink and the cold foam. The coffee itself was mostly hidden, but it still peeked through just enough. My wife enjoyed her drink as well. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While it's a little hard to find, it's worth the effort since we enjoyed our drinks, and I'd love to try one of their egg yolk lattes next time. read more

This coffee was tasty. Period. I'm so happy we went to this place. The flavors were on point and they use Ten Fold beans from Houston which we enjoy that coffee shop too. The combo of flavors was spot on. My husband got a blueberry one and I got strawberries and cream. The flavors didn't overpower the coffee and it still shone through. Super nice people working there and in the cutest building. They have a back patio you can hang out on. read more

The coffee here is amazing definitely one of the best banana lattes I've ever had would 100% recommend getting that, the service is nice and quick can get a little busy, and the inside space can feel crowded since it's a bit small but it's all worth it at the end once you get your drink. read more

One of my friends and I found this place randomly when she was visiting and we were out shopping. It's in a cute little shopping center inside off the strand. The shop is quaint, but really nice. December 14, 2023 I'm local and don't live on the east end. so, I made a special trip to check this coffee shop out. it was Thursday at 130p. took a minute to find parking... then had to pay $2 to park. it's a tiny coffee shop on the Strand inside the Hutchins Sealy bldg at the very back. nice staff. nice patio to sit. the shop is convenient if you work-live in the area or you're shopping but either way, parking is not convenient or free. plus a heavy hitter coffee chain is a few blocks away with free parking. so there's that. Love the hallway inside the historic building on the way to the cafe. It's clean and cute inside. The decor is cute too. We were greeted right away and the menu was right in front and easy to see. The holiday drinks were perfect and different too. Most make the same old flavors and many with a premix just to stir into coffee. This tasted more homemade. It takes some time which makes sense for cafes making everything as ordered. Everything was made in about 15 min. We also bought some blueberry pastries and they were delicious. We had about half an hour to spare to walk to the cafe from a parking garage waiting for our car to be jumped and easily made the walk back in time for him to be there while we enjoyed our treats. The porch is really nice too and quiet. And so you know, Google will point to the middle of the building. Open the door and go to the right for coffee OR keep walking the sidewalk and take a left where the chairs are outside of a porch. read more

It's a small and very cute coffee shop, they also have a gorgeous outside area. However, as we were leaving, we noticed they have many syrups displayed that are not on menu. My husband would have made his own flavor combo had he seen them beforehand. Harbor's Edge is a relatively new coffee shop in the Galveston area! It is on the Strand so it is a convenient location for tourists or if you live by the Strand although there is only paid parking nearby. However, you can find free 2 hour parking about 2 blocks down if preferred. It is a good place to hangout but they only have a few small tables and not a lot of seating (although there is an outdoor patio if weather permits!). I would also prefer it if they had more outlets available but understand how that is not feasible given the space so it may not be ideal for those who are looking for a hardcore study session. read more

We enjoyed iced coffees and teas from here. They had some wonderful looking pastries and we loved their aesthetic. I ordered the Ruby Breakfast tea, which was a wonderful way to wake up. Their building and space is very comfortable, and the owner is lovely. She also owns a gift shop and Moxie's on the second floor up. It was such a pleasure to stop here. I've been meaning to try our Harbor' Edge since they opened! They usually open at around 7 AM every morning. The interior of the shop is really cute, and there's a huge study space on the 3rd floor of the building that you can utilize if you want to get work done! I got a caramel iced latte. Flavor of the espresso and latte was good! Everything was well balanced. The owner was nice as well. She gave me a 10% discount for being a UTMB student. The price was really fair as well. Skip the line at Starbucks next time and support small businesses, you won't regret supporting this one! read more

This little gem can be hard to find if you are looking from the strand but once you find it, the coffee is outstanding, prepared exactly to your liking, and the staff has never failed to greet me with a smile and wish me a good day. My sister & I went here as I'm an iced coffee LOVER. We are all the way from Missouri & I wanted to try somewhere different from what are usuals are (Starbucks, 7Brew, Dutch Bro's, etc). As I was looking up places I stumbled across this which was a block away from where we were & headed there immediately. I LOVED their coffee so much I wanted to go back before we left Galveston, TX (went on the Jubilee for vacation). Unfortunately didn't have time, but definitely have been thinking about the iced latte I got almost daily since LOL! Even down to trying to find a recipe closest to it for when I get back home.
