Now called Seafoam Coffee. In case you are confused, this quaint coffee house is now called Seafoam Coffee, as new owners took over in September. We had flat whites fresh, flaky crossaints and enjoyed our morning on their patio. Everything was great. Little jars of jam would be a nice touch. This is a hidden gem inside the building next to Riondos. The building is fantástic and has other really cute shops inside. Save money and park in the back!

I stopped by here earlier today with my family for our morning coffee. Whenever we go on vacation, we try to hit up a new coffee shop every morning, and on this day we ended up heading over to Sea Foam Coffee. This coffee shop is located in The Strand but sits in the back of the building, which you can walk through to reach it. Honestly, without Yelp and the sign outside, I would have never known this place even existed. The shop itself is tiny but has some outdoor seating. Even though it's small, it's cheery with bright white walls, light blue shelves, and a display case with a few baked goods inside. For my coffee, I decided on an iced Third Coast Latte while my wife went with an iced Boardwalk Latte. It was only after I ordered that I noticed the fall menu and realized I would have liked to try the brown butter pumpkin latte instead. In any case, the menu described mine as iced cookie butter, brown butter, almond, and butterscotch latte with cookie butter cold foam, while my wife's was shortbread, cookie butter, and white mocha made with cinnamon milk and topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and caramel drizzle. It seemed like all the coffees here had a long list of ingredients, so it wasn't the fastest place in the world, but that didn't matter to us. My coffee tasted good and I especially liked the cookie butter flavor that came through, both in the drink and the cold foam. The coffee itself was mostly hidden, but it still peeked through just enough. My wife enjoyed her drink as well. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While it's a little hard to find, it's worth the effort since we enjoyed our drinks, and I'd love to try one of their egg yolk lattes next time.

This coffee was tasty. Period. I'm so happy we went to this place. The flavors were on point and they use Ten Fold beans from Houston which we enjoy that coffee shop too. The combo of flavors was spot on. My husband got a blueberry one and I got strawberries and cream. The flavors didn't overpower the coffee and it still shone through. Super nice people working there and in the cutest building. They have a back patio you can hang out on.

It's a little corner shop in back of some stores. Nice little place with friendly service. The drinks were top notch and made to order. Definitely will make this our strand coffee shop. They even have a nice outdoor seating area.

The service at harbors edge is always exceptional! I love the clean aesthetic, and plants in the coffee house. It's lovely that they have a large outdoor seating option as well. My favorite thing to get is the cookie butter latte but their seasonal drinks are always amazing too! Overall harbors edge is very consistent with service and quality can't wait to be back!

the lady at the front was super kind!!! i ordered a strawberry cream matcha and I'm not gonna lie... this is probably the best strawberry matcha i've ever had!!! the cookiebutter latte was incredible my wife ordered it with oat milk and absolutely loved it honestly would give this place 10 stars if i could 10/10 experience!! the ambiance is super cool also - its on the first floor of this building but a cool little getaway from the heat! there's also a patio you can sit at and enjoy the fresh air if you'd like!

Love the hallway inside the historic building on the way to the cafe. It's clean and cute inside. The decor is cute too. We were greeted right away and the menu was right in front and easy to see. The holiday drinks were perfect and different too. Most make the same old flavors and many with a premix just to stir into coffee. This tasted more homemade. It takes some time which makes sense for cafes making everything as ordered. Everything was made in about 15 min. We also bought some blueberry pastries and they were delicious. We had about half an hour to spare to walk to the cafe from a parking garage waiting for our car to be jumped and easily made the walk back in time for him to be there while we enjoyed our treats. The porch is really nice too and quiet. And so you know, Google will point to the middle of the building. Open the door and go to the right for coffee OR keep walking the sidewalk and take a left where the chairs are outside of a porch.

December 14, 2023 I'm local and don't live on the east end. so, I made a special trip to check this coffee shop out. it was Thursday at 130p. took a minute to find parking... then had to pay $2 to park. it's a tiny coffee shop on the Strand inside the Hutchins Sealy bldg at the very back. nice staff. nice patio to sit. the shop is convenient if you work-live in the area or you're shopping but either way, parking is not convenient or free. plus a heavy hitter coffee chain is a few blocks away with free parking. so there's that. [ride your bicycle or walk there] that's the easiest. hope they make it #buylocal

Initially it was kind of a little adventure through a building and then i found Harbor's Edge by using their cute signs ! It's a small and very cute coffee shop, they also have a gorgeous outside area. I immediately got greeted and i ordered the cookie butter latte, it did not disappoint 10/10 definitely would recommend and come again !

Great coffee and atmosphere! Love the quality snack offerings too. Tucked in one of Galveston's historic buildings on the strand.

Friendly staff and coffee was very detailed art. Had to pay for parking even in the parking lot behind the shop

    Salty beach

Highly recommend the salty beach! Strong coffee taste but still so sweet! The ratio is perfect. Service was great, and atmosphere was very cute! They have outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee as well

Coffee and customer service were equally great!!! I noticed a few pastries but did not order any. Menu has some flavor combos worth trying. However, as we were leaving, we noticed they have many syrups displayed that are not on menu. My husband would have made his own flavor combo had he seen them beforehand. I loved the ambiance inside the building where the coffee shop is tucked away, towards the back. Adorable seating area outside as well with a few plants and flower. We enjoyed everything about this place.

Coffee was good. It's in my headphones. Not really a craft coffee shop place. Normally a cappuccino is only 6-8 ounces.

It felt kind of cluttered. I expect they must have a patio setup on nicer days, but on this day all that equipment was taking up all the space right inside the front entrance. I'm not much on sweets. I can be talked into an interesting cookie, but this was not the place I expected and I don't think they sold cookies or interesting milk flavors from what I could tell. They do sell sketchy looking hot dogs and pizza. I'm not sure who orders that. It seems like they specialize in ice cream. I tried one flavor and it was pretty sweet for me. I'm not much on sweets so that's not hard to do for me. I stood around letting my wife pick her flavor. I would have waited outside given how cramped the space felt, but it was pouring rain. My wife mentioned the place has artwork and stuff. I didn't see that and didn't know to expect it. I also heard there is a wine bar somewhere on the premise. I may have to come back and give that a try.

This morning I had to get a taste of their coffee cake (because it's one of my favorites) to go alongside my caramel macchiato which I've come to love thanks to my husband. I ordered an all day breakfast sandwich that was ready in little to no time at all and was pipping hot and fresh. The croissant was buttery, flakey and toasted to perfection. Not to mention the drink menu itself is diverse with something for everyone. My friend and I had a mom's almond Joy and raspberry truffle iced coffee; both rich and artfully prepared. The café itself was immaculate. Beautifully decorated, clean, air-conditioned and refreshing. They have a few merchandise items for purchase as well as coffee by the pound. Here's the thing, Galveston is home to more Starbucks than you can count on your hands. It is incredibly difficult to find a local coffee shop that does not disappoint. Your options are either an unlimited drink menu with nothing but sweets and subpar drinks. Or your average six items at a coffee shop with an enormous menu of food that doesn't hit. Seawall coffee company does a unique job of having a wide variety of beverages and an all day menu that will satisfy the pickiest of eaters. Final remarks: incredibly friendly service, great ambience, fantastic food, and beverages. You won't regret stopping by.
