This is my first negative review on yelp. I would not recommend Sea Green Cleaning for any services. They are unprofessional, making numerous excuses. The owner Hazel does not take accountability and communicates in an aggressive tone. I have had two cleaning sessions with them so far both the times the cleaner arrived 40-70 mins late. The cleaner herself was nice but was having an argument with Hazel in Spanish. She arrived to my house with no cleaning supplies which only after six phone calls and back-and-forth somebody came with cleaning supplies. As a courtesy they gave me off discount. I even told her as a courtesy if you do not return my money which I gave for the third cleaning for a patio I will have to write this negative review because Im not one to write bad reviews as I understand the impact on a business. I definitely would recommend staying away from this business. They took my money for patio cleaning which they never did, kept saying they can't return it because it's the Fourth of July weekend, even though the payment was made via Venmo. For this patio cleaning I waited for one week and readjusted my time schedule 4 times. I have given them numerous chances and they said the delay is caused by my building asking for COI. I unfortunately had to move out which I had communicated that my lease is ending. Yeah I would give one star it's only because I feel bad for the workers who seem nice and pleasant natured that I am giving an extra star. read more

Made last minute request (about 1.5 days in advance) and Hazel was responsive and made it happen. It was actually very easy! Cleaning staff (just one for my tiny apt) arrived on time and took about 2.5 hours to clean. Very detailed and overall thorough job. The apt is tiny and I can certainly do the upkeep, but a professional cleaning is nice to have as well every once in awhile. Highly recommended! read more

Stay far away from this company! The most irresponsible owner I have ever dealt with. I have been trying for the past 2weeks+ to get them to my apartment to clean. It's has been one lie after another, right now as I am writing this review I am waiting for a 1Pm appointment no show/no call. The mastermind behind this is someone named Hazel! I truly recommend to you DO NOT deal with this individual. what really pisses me off is the chasing I had to do to get nowhere! Working with Hazel has been great. The first time I had her staff come in to clean it had been a long time since I've had professional cleaners and there was a lot of work to do. After a very long day my apt was left cleaned for sure. She was available by phone and checked in on how the work was going. Because the apt was well cleaned. It was easier to maintain for a few weeks before I had them come back again. This time bc the place was cleaned they still impressed me with how much more they could continue to get all the small little areas that most of the time gets skipped or is simply too much to get to on one visit. I can say that after two visits the apt is spotless. I would def recommend Sea Green. I already have them booked for another visit and looking forward to seeing just how much deeper than can clean. read more

Of the 3 scheduled appointments, they no showed on two of them. Always an excuse - car accident, traffic, sent messages on Yelp (they didn't). This was for an attempted weekly recurring cleaning. There are plenty of cleaning services in the area. Find one that will actually show up. Edit: Following up on her reply. She was never requested to clean during the storm nor during a flood. My girlfriend and I hired this cleaning service as we were moving in and wanted to have the place cleaned prior. We chose the move-in/move-out service and the lady that came in initially did some cleaning, but definitely missed a lot of the drawers and cupboards. The whole point of hiring a cleaning service is so that we don't have to worry about cleaning ourselves. However, after the lady left, we discovered a good amount of spots missed. We reached out to Hazel and she offered another cleaning service appointment to make up for the first time. Well, the day comes and the cleaner is no where to be seen and there have been no updates. To be honest, this cleaning service provided us with more unneeded stress than we had before. Why even offer a follow-up cleaning service if the person isn't going to show, doesn't provide updates if they are coming or not and if we have to supervise your cleaning. I would rather do the cleaning myself than hire this cleaning service again. read more

I am so impressed with Sea Green Cleaning. I reached out to them for move-out cleaning and to clean my oven. I had called at least 50 companies before I reached out to them and most companies didn't help with residential oven cleaning. basically, a plastic bowl melted in the oven and I could not get it out. After I spoke to Sea Green Cleaning, they immediately put me at ease and said they were not only capable of handling the job but were eager to help me clean my oven. They did a fabulous job! Oven was restored to pre-melted plastic disaster. I also hired them for a move-out clean and Ana did a fantastic job. Payment via credit card was easy and efficient, too. My only frustration was that they didn't bring cleaning tools like brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. -- which I'd asked about since I knew the apartment was vacant. Great pricing and very effective cleaning. I had Miriam clean a one bed, one bath apartment and she was incredibly meticulous and friendly. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, I had scheduled the appointment at 10 AM and Miriam did not arrive until 12 PM and I did not receive any updates until 10:45 AM after me trying to reach them after multiple failed attempts.
