It also has two parks.-a small one and a big one. The small park is great for small kids, it has a climbing area, swings, and slides. The big park is awesome, it has a 2/3 story climbing area with three slides. You can also rent a pavilion for birthdays/parties. It's a great park to take children. There are plenty of parking space right in front of the park.

Splash mountain has height restrictions so we always do a parent swap. Thai little park beneath the ride is a fun and cool way to spend that wait during a parent swap. Well shaded and has cute little slides and play place designed for toddlers. All my girls at one point have played on this and they always have a great time. Makes the wait for the parent swap go by much quicker than just sitting in the heat at other attractions. Overall very cool and hidden gem located at the Disney world parks. Wish more rides had parent swap areas like this.

There is a little playhouse and a slide, which it says is for ages 2-5 but our kindergartener still had a blast. What I like best isn't so much what it is, as where--it is fully in the shade, in a self-contained area with seating for the parents. It's a great break from the sun for both parents and kids, even if it isn't air conditioned.

We had a beautiful day to visit and smiled throughout the day. Some of our best moments were walking through the various city streets and seeing musical performances and dancing. The walkways were wide and we were never on top of other guests. Most rides had reasonable wait times and/or offered single rider options. The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. My only downside to Universal Studios is that some of the themes felt outdated or just aren't favorite characters of mine. At least this helped to decrease the temptation of spending money on apparel or merchandise.

The customer service phone number is a pain to navigate and the staff is unhelpful. They are either unwilling or unable to connect directly to restaurants, certain departments (like guest services), etc. They even told me a restaurant was closed despite the restaurant showing as open online. The customer service rep was also unwilling to put someone else on the phone or provide next steps. The inconvenience of Universal (including having to pay to visit City Walk) underlines its intent was to make money rather than create lasting family memories. Don't waste your money and time.

While each land looks amazing, I found myself feeling like the biggest highlight by far was Super Nintendo World. Walking through the Warp Pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom is unforgettable. The music, colors, Mario Kart, Yoshi's Adventure, and Donkey Kong Country make it feel like you've stepped inside a real Nintendo game. My biggest disappointment is that Nintendo didn't get the entire park. Imagine if Epic Universe had been built completely around Nintendo with multiple themed worlds: Mushroom Kingdom - Mario, Peach's Castle, Mario Kart, Toad Town, and Rainbow Road. Yoshi's Island - A colorful family land filled with dinosaurs, adventure trails, and unique rides. Donkey Kong Country - A huge jungle packed with temples, waterfalls, mine carts, and thrilling attractions. Bowser's Kingdom - A massive volcanic world with Bowser's Castle, lava-filled rides, and epic battles. Luigi's Mansion - A haunted land with ghosts, puzzles, special effects, and a state-of-the-art dark ride. Nintendo has enough characters and games to fill an entire theme park. Instead, it only occupies one section of Epic Universe. For me, the park itself feels a bit small, and outside of Nintendo there wasn't another land that left the same lasting impression. Super Nintendo World is what makes Epic Universe worth visiting, and I honestly believe Universal missed an opportunity by not making the entire park a Nintendo park. The park has all the basics you'd expect. There's a handful of benches, lots of shady trees, and covered picnic tables scattered around to protect you from the Florida sun or the notorious thunderstorms. There's also a small playground for kids and a volleyball court, which adds a bit of variety if you're planning to stay longer. The park sits right next to a lake, which really adds to the atmosphere. The water is calm and relaxing, and it draws in plenty of local birds. If you're into casual birdwatching, this is a nice little spot to spend some time. What stood out most to me was how quiet it is. Since it's tucked into a mostly residential area, it feels peaceful and not overly crowded. Lots of free parking, too. Overall, this is a simple but charming park. It's great for a short break, a walk, or just enjoying some fresh air. Bonus: it's open from 8 am to 8 pm during the summer, so there's plenty of time to drop by.

Trolls is a personal favorite of mine, and they have an adorable "Trollercoaster", a kid friendly roller coaster that is so beyond cute. There's tons of interactive sections in this area- a whole playground/ park, singing frogs, a water section of course, and at the far back there's a Kungfu Panda section where you can have an up close encounter with Po! They have some really fun treats around too- ice cream, waffles (Donkey's favorite) and some other things. There's plenty of chances to meet your favorite Dreamworks characters here- Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, the Trolls gang, Gabby's Dollhouse, SpongeBob and friends and more.

My two year old was probably a bit confused about what was going on when we climbed into our safari vehicle, and I'm not sure she was totally on board throughout the ride to be honest. Although we've been to Lincoln Park Zoo, she was very very young at the time and would not remember being this close to an animal that wasn't on the level of a dog, snake, or turtle. So whilst I think being mere feet from giraffes, elephants, and wildebeests was unexpected, she said she enjoyed it. The driver was informative and didn't make the embarrassing jokes that the "captain" of the Jungle Cruise did, for which I'm thankful. In addition to the aforementioned animals, we came across black and white rhinos, lions, hippos, cheetahs, flamingos, and more. The ride was leisurely and comfortable, and there's no height requirement so anyone can ride. This was a lot of fun to start our first visit to Disney World. It's a very popular ride, apparently. 45+ minute wait times are not uncommon. We used a lightning lane to cut through most of it but we did have to wait 10 minutes or so before we got on. I'd definitely recommend lightening lanes for this one!
