What a great time for our family! Both captains were so fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a fun afternoon on the water. We listened to fun music, saw dolphins up close, and then got a beautiful boat ride up down the North Myrtle Beach coast. Kids and adults had fun! Highly recommend! Also a note on great customer service: we went out on an afternoon trip. Due to high winds, and therefore high waves, the captain turned around before getting to the Atlantic Ocean. We were given the option to get our $$ back or reschedule. We rescheduled and had a wonderful time the next day. Appreciate the great customer service and flexibility. Saw dolphins within 30 minutes, driver said there were ~40. Easy to see with low railings that still seemed safe. I liked the tour guide & they had water / Gatorade on board for cheap. Didn't get too seasick, but definitely was glad it wasn't longer than the hour or so. Got a little wet but it felt good read more

Definitely a low-key, enjoyable activity with the family. The boat is super comfortable, and they play a great selection of music. It is open air - there is no shade, but we never got too hot. We saw lots of dolphins, and they're really good about making sure each side gets equal viewing time. You're allowed to stand up and move around when the boat is in one place. We have been on 3 dolphin tours in Myrtle Beach. It is a tradition when we visit. Sea Racer was the best tour so far. We saw about 10 dolphins. The boat ride was amazing. If you get sea sick maybe not the best idea to go on a boat. The family next to us had 3 sea sick kids. BTW if you get sea sick don't put your head down look at the horizon. read more

Enjoyed it and saw about 10 dolphins total although you have to be patient as it's usually just a couple seconds to spot them. First mate Jessica was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable. She provided us with a ton of interesting information on dolphins and the area. The crew was amazing! Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins and realize they cannot guarantee that we will see them. We were quite bummed that they had to cut the trip short by 30mins due to some rain that came in. To make it even worse the rain only lasted 20mins! Took my first ride on July 4th. Had been on this (or really any similar type) boat for a ride before. A group of friends also came along and we all kept coming up with questions and called back several times. They were so gracious each time we called with yet another question. Also were proactive in making sure we were clear where to park, how early to get there, where not to park, etc. the boat is fantastic, well captained (a storm earlier in the day brought some swells) and he kept it as steady as possible. The restrooms were very clean, seating was comfortable. And the staff made sure to keep tabs on the passengers comfort. read more

I was so excited to take this tour. But once we got out towards the ocean, the seas were a bit rough and we got pummeled with water, and I'm not just talking about being splashed once or twice (which would of been fine, I expected to get a bit wet) but literally like someone throwing buckets of water at us for like 10 minutes. We were never advised to wear bathing suits or perhaps even to make sure our phones were protected. We were drenched to the core, I could not even wipe down my sunglasses because I did not have an inch of dry clothing on me and my purse was saturated with water and I might add that I could not even see because the salt water burned my eyes so bad that I could not even open them. My husbands phone got drenched and didn't work for days because it "detected water" and would not charge. And to top it off, we never saw any dolphins (not that I could see them anyways) . This was a one and done for us, worst boat ride EVER!! read more

They did advise us that the ocean was rough...but it was more than rough. It was terrifying, kids were crying, the boat was rocking and rolling SO much. We got DRENCHED and never saw any dolphins. The deck hand was very nice and helpful and our captain kept us safe. I think that the trip should have been canceled due to the roughness of the ocean. I am sure this would have been a great time if we didn't feel like we were going to go over board....the captain literally said....hold onto your kids. read more

Large boat with plenty of seating. Pre ordered tickets. They were on time. Barely anyone on the boat with us during mid-week in June. Kids enjoyed the ride however we did not see any dolphins which was a bummer. I'd probably recommend going in the evening they seem to have better luck seeing dolphins. read more
