Midnight Cove is one of the best vacation rentals on Siesta Key. There are two outdoor pools and they have a private beach with white sand and sparkling blue water. Midnight Key has attendants that will help you with complimentary beach lounges and umbrellas. I enjoyed joining others on a morning walk and watching the sunset each evening. Midnight Cove boasts a variety of accommodations. There are townhouses, two, three and four bedroom condos. There is a fitness room, tennis courts, grills and plenty of outdoor areas to sit and relax. You can even rent a boat slip at Midnight Cove or fish right off of their docks.

Each unit is individually owned so the conditions depend on each owners attention to the unit. Our unit was on level 1 which is the first floor above the ground. All parking is underneath the building so level 1 is not ground level but rather what most people would consider the 2nd floor. Our unit was in the middle of the building which gave us a slight view of the Gulf. If you go up another floor or two then you may get a better view. Not really a big deal as we spent most of the time on the beach. The El Presidente is located on the Southern part of Crescent Beach close to the Southern of the two bridges that lead to the island. We found this location to be pretty nice. It was close enough to walk to the Captain Curt's village which had two places to eat, the Orange Octopus ice cream shop and a small grocery store. To get to the Siesta Village we used the free ride services (tips only). The condo has a nice pool area and the beach was very nice. They provide chairs and beach towels. The unit was nicely equipped with everything we needed. The access to the grounds is gated so you have a key to get into the parking, pool and beach access area's. The only thing you don't need the key for is the tennis court located at the front of the property. The grounds were very nicely kept and they did a good job of keeping it clean. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would certainly look at staying here again.

Our family of 10 had a tremendous experience at this rental. You are in the heart of the Village and quick walk to the beach. You have your own pool, full kitchen, elevator, family room, and a covered porch by the pool for gathering. The unit was spotless and if there is an issue, they respond immediately. Now for the expense vs value. Is the unit expensive, yes it is. But the value you get outweighs the expense. Most people reading reviews, like us are not rich. The cost when you compare renting 4 hotel rooms in this great location makes more sense. Add to that you have a full kitchen, gas grill, and washer dryer and the value starts to greatly exceed the expense. As Grand Parents having everyone together on vacation takes the value of this property off the charts. Add to that the two people we had contact with at this company, Tim and Ken were absolutely great. They could have not been more accommodating and genuinely concerned that we had a top notch experience. The value you get from this rental is way more than worth it. This was our first time staying while under The Cottages on the Key management. It was even better than our previous visits. The management company checked in with us almost daily. The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The pool was cleaned TWICE a week, so it was constantly clean. Love this house, but the management company made it even more enjoyable this time. Loved that we didn't have to wash towels upon our exit. Beautiful home, great location, wonderful customer service! Siesta Sun has a good location, right across the street from where Stickney Pointe Rd ends. Each unit comes with a parking space which is an added bonus. The pool is decent, not huge but not small either. Siesta Sun offers beach front property which is the real bread and butter here. Just a short walk from your rental will take you out to Crescent Beach, just south of Siesta Key Beach. "The laundry room is situated in the middle of the complex. Beach lounges, chairs, picnic tables and grills are provided for the guests and parking for registered guests is conveniently located at the front or back door of each unit. This place always does a great job, there's a big swimming pool with a broad, super-clean deck that always had lounges for everyone that wanted to take in the sun, sleep or get deep into the novel you brought on vacation. Across Beach Road is a private access to the famed Siesta Beach allowing quick access for walkers,shellers, or just carry the provided beach chair down and just sit to watch the world go by from a uniquely stress-free vantage point. The units are tasteful,and we've found can comfortably bivouac 6 grownups ( as long as they behave like grownups). Our unit had a kitchen completely equipped to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, but our culinary requirements were only what's needed for a few breakfasts, and prepping food for the barbecue out back. That BBQ area is really nice, and sometimes becomes an impromptu gathering area for guests/residents to finish the day, and converse and confer over the grills with a couple of beers . The top advantage to me, is the broad open air balcony, that begs one to sit and watch the beach, the road, and the gulf while having coffee, or watching the sunset ( a SK tradition ) before starting the evening's activities. A few of the other advantages of Tivoli are its proximity to Siesta Village , a flat half mile walk, and only a couple hundred yards to the public beach. The grounds are lovely, always immaculate, and the place has an on-site manager. This year we met Wesley, new to this manager post, but a seasoned professional of the trade, and were so impressed with how well he could navigate us through any issue when we required help. He's been a solid addition to the entire Tivoli experience. We booked the same weeks for next year on checkout, and already looking forward to another great getaway.

For me this wasn't a huge issue but the reason it didn't get 5 stars. Really close to the main town and there are even taxis that run on tips so you can have a few drinks without being nervous to drive home. She argued with me about how many days I "HAD" to book, she argued with me about whether November was a low season or high season, she informed me that she doesn't even work for the condos...i guess she volunteers. And this was after leaving several voice mails and an email. I could tell by her voice when she did call me back that she was frustrated. Informed me in a hasty manner that the offices were closed until May '25 and that the property is in the process of being sold. Which to my offense...I had no idea! I just wanted to change my reservation. Then she hung up on me. When I responded via text message she told me she will not deal with rude people and that she would cancel my reservation. I guess I'm rude because I called out her nasty attitude. She refused to give me the owners name. I guess this place does not need our business which is sad. I love SK but will take my business somewhere else. I would NOT recommend Sandbox on the Beach for any future stays.
