Just wanted to add I still come here. It's still delicious. It is a really nice place to sit near the water. The mango margarita is great it's pricey, but it's delicious unique food.

The staff coming in here was very welcoming and helpful and pointing out where to park. I made a difference interior is very long and narrow, but everybody gets a seat by the window, looking at all the boats in the marina. What a beautiful view. The area around here is under a lot of construction and so there's a lot of streets that are blocked off and it makes it sort of difficult to weave your way around here and figure out where everything is. But once you get down here, you know that it's famous for this area for a long time for being a place where people enjoy food and like to hang out and listen to good music. Walking by the tables, I looked down and everybody was really enjoying their foods and the platters are just loaded with it. Everything looked delicious. It'd be interesting if they have a combo platter. I also like that they do this crispy, giant prawns, man they look good. I'm chopping at the bit to get myself a first bite. Our server Austin was amazing so helpful and so patient while we were trying to figure out what to order. Everybody that works here actually was awesome. I started with a bowl of chowder. It's just like I make it at home and it was flawless. I loved it. I'd come here and have a big bowl of it with crusty bread for sure. That was followed by me having some of the best crispy shrimp that comes along with a side of garlic, french fries and you have your choices several types of fries. Unbeknownst to me until someone told me is by get one beer get one free so I enjoy the double beer. And my wife had the lobster Sando with the Home potato chips. Again another hit hit hit hit. Everything that came out of here you have to go to like five different places to find it and let you know the same thing in one location. I will definitely come back. I love this place.

This place has been bookmarked for some time now. There was a short wait you order then you can have a seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I love the large windows and being able to look out. I wanted to sit by the window but the tables werent clean. I ordered a coconut water probably the best one ive ever had. They have some good drink options. I started with the lobster bisque which was really good. To eat I tried the hawaiian shrimp with garlic noodles it was pretty good. I also had the crab with the mixture sauce their sauce is really good. I would definitely be back to try more.

Neat spot in JLS, right over the water. If you're looking for very casual seafood fare, this place should do the trick.

It's been years since I have been to Jack London but we headed here on t is perfect Fall day and decided to stop at Seabreeze for lunch - it was a good choice! Food was fantastic- one of the best ceviche's I have ever had, fresh and flavorful! We also had the grilled oysters which are on par with Hog Island's who are the standard for me and delicious lobster nachos! Great service, great views, great food!! Loved it!

Fish and chips one of worst I've had, burnt, dry, on par with frozen, but sadly maybe even worse. On the other hand Lobster roll was great, lots of meat, tasty, cold, sweet.

Was randomly scrolling on yelp and saw this place. I don't remember it ever existing tbh. I usually go to the city or Marin area for lobster rolls and garlic noodles so I'm glad there's on nearby now! I just did take out and wanted to try the garlic noodles before committing myself to a lobster roll. There's street parking across the railroads or you can park in the loading zone for 10 minutes. There's a few chairs outside and lots of indoor seating. The view is pretty nice and overlooks the water. To order, it just checkout and goes pretty fast. I went on a slower day so I'm not sure how packed this place is on the weekend. They made my garlic noodles pretty fast and I went home to try it. Kinda just wish I ordered a lobster roll and enjoyed it there but meh. The noodles were soooooo goood! It was a pretty good portion for one and the price point is within reason. There's a few garlic noodles around the area that's too greasy or just filled with junk. Will definitely come back to sit down and enjoy the birds next time.

Lobster Roll with Chips $33.95 (October 2025)

Seabreeze on the Dock is a waterfront dog-friendly gem for lunch or dinner. They have a pretty extensive menu with everything seafood: crab rolls, lobster rolls, seafood tacos, lobster nachos, Po Boys, Garlic Noodles, fried seafood baskets, seafood boils, soups, salads, burgers and desserts, along with a few non-seafood options like chicken and burgers. They also serve beer, wine and frozen margaritas. The menu is kid friendly with $10 options like chicken tenders, a burger, or cod and fries. During our visit we had lobster rolls with waffle fries ($33.95) and fish tacos ($16.95). The portions are large and reasonable for the quality. Tacos had large pieces of fresh fish topped with flavorful guacamole and salsa. The lobster rolls were large, with a large portion of lobster inside and no fillers. The rolls were soft and just the right size for the lobster inside. The waffle fries that accompanied it were also delicious. There is a decent amount of outdoor seating (about 8 tables of varying size), most of them shaded, and they have an outdoor heat lamp. There was plenty of room for my dog to stretch out, and although the food was upscale the place was casual. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. The accompanying green space along Jack London is a great place to go for a walk or relax afterward, and if you want to take your food to go, they often offer a discount for ordering online.

Going on the ferry to SF - decided to have lunch first at Jack London Square. So happy we found Seabreeze On the Dock. The food was tasty. The staff friendly and restaurant very clean. Also nice view!

FIsh (Cod) tacos (about $17) were marred by wildly excessive application of sauce on top.

Seabreeze On the Dock has a 5-star location. Time things right and you can snag a table with beautiful views of the Oakland estuary out two huge picture windows. Of course, you'll also need to eat and drink while enjoying those seats and that's where the complications come in. Seabreeze has a big menu featuring seafood in many iterations. My party of two opted for fish tacos (Cod, $16.95) and a fried seafood plate (calamari, fries, & slaw, about $22). The service model here is fast-casual; order and pay at a counter then food is brought to your table when ready. Service was great but I couldn't say the same for the food. What should've been a drizzle of spicy sauce atop the fish tacos was more like a ladle-full. The wildly excessive application of sauce made consuming the tacos ridiculously messy and rendered the tacos themselves unappetizing in appearance. The calamari presented a different issue. Pieces were fried (possibly battered?) to such a degree that it was difficult to discern any flavor or shape beneath. I detected no tentacles, each piece was just a crisp-fried blob, not un-tasty but also not tasting of calamari. The accompanying slaw was a non-starter as well but the fries - as if more fried fare were needed - were good. I'd order quite differently - and very carefully - upon a return visit to Seabreeze and ask for any saucy topping to be served on the side.

We were craving seafood on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, so we decided to stroll around Jack London Square. My boyfriend suggested we try this spot, and I'm glad we did! He ordered the King Crab legs and a dozen fresh oysters for us, and not gonna lie, they were sooo fresh. The way they grilled the crab legs was impressive like the flavor really seeped into the meat. They served it on a bed of veggies with melted butter for dipping, which made it even better. The oysters were creamy and delicious, and you could still taste the ocean (in the best way possible). The location is great its right on the waterfront and the restaurant was clean with a welcoming vibe. Our server was incredibly nice, always smiling, and his good energy was contagious. Major plus: the whole place overlooks the marina which added to the relaxing experience. Will we come back? Probably not anytime soon cos it's definitely not the most budget-friendly spot. But to be fair, you're paying for the freshness and quality. I'd love to return to try other dishes! For reference: one large crab leg with three smaller ones, a dozen oysters, and a glass of wine came out to about $110. Overall, definitely a must-try!

4.5! Really close the a 5! Hubby and I had a Sunday Funday lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves. I LOVE the location and how you're sitting right along the water. Perfect place to take a walk before or after your meal. You order at the counter and they deliver your food to you after. Staff were friendly the whole time and even though they don't take the order at the table, they checked up on us a couple times. Bloody Mary 5/5: it came LOADED, just how I like it. I was so excited for all the snacks in my drink LOL. I also like how it's "seasoned", I'm not a fan of bloodies that taste only like tomato juice. Oysters 4.5/5: fresh and good sized. Def would order again. Clam chowder 5/5: I didn't personally try it but my husband enjoyed it a lot. Oyster and Catfish po boy 4/5: I liked the oyster po boy a lot. Cat fish was tasty and crispy but I wish the fish itself was a little thicker. It'd be better if they added a little more sauce or butter to the bread. Would love to come back again this summer!

Service was attentive and helpful, the room is pretty from the outside and prettier from the inside. Very good salads, healthy, tasty, and the safron salmon with potatoes and vegetables was delicious. Hit all the notes, and left open the spaces too. Excellent cooking and serving. We both went for Creme Brulee and weren't sorry. Good wine selection, 1 glass each, and good decaf with dessert. A search on this website resulted in Marica having it on their menu. He booked a 7:30 PM reservation for two. We arrived early. What started out as a not too pleasant experience for us was the attitude of the guy who greeted us when we entered the restaurant. Attitude bordered on rudeness (3 star). We somewhat tolerated it, not knowing what to expect next. The restaurant was filled with diners, and the only available seating was not far from the front door. Oh, the chill was in the air, and my not wearing a sweater and/or light jacket to stay warm had me shivering. I had to brave the element (LOL). Since there was no Chilean sea bass on their daily special menu, it took a little longer for my companion and I to peruse the menu, and decide what entrees we were willing to have. Usually I would order an Arnold Palmer as a beverage; however, this time I decided to be adventurous - reisling peach spritz please - to whet my appetite. My date had the Temescal pilsner. Eats: Grilled salmon arange ginger saffron blanc beurre, roasted potatoes and vegetables. Korean short ribs, honey garlic gochujang marinade, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our meals were on point and bomb-diggity delicious. The arange ginger saffron was perfect with the carrot. It reminded me of glazed carrots. The green beans were fresh and not overcooked. Ooh, the Korean pork ribs were tender and that sauce was sweet and had a subtle kick of spiciness. (Definitely a perfect complement for the pork ribs.) I have to admit the chef knew how to burn. Food tasted so good that figuratively speaking y'all gotta slap the cook and his mama. Ambiance: Comfy and casual. Despite the dining area is small, still it is a great restaurant for dining on a Friday evening. From my perspective and vivid imagination with the indoor lighting, it exuded a romantic atmosphere. Only in my mind I can hear soft jazz in the background. What convinced me to give Marica a 5 star rating? It was none other than Enriqueta, our waitress. She was pleasant, attentive and so accommodating. The chef lost our order ticket; thus, the wait time for our meal took a bit longer than we anticipated. She came to the rescue and comped us with dessert - chocolate souffle with homemade vanilla ice cream. It certainly was a gesture of kindness to have my date and me smiling from ear to ear. Return visit? Yes, mos def...not the rapper for Chilean sea bass. Enriqueta said I can always call to find out what their daily special is.

The atmosphere is cozy and casual and the service staff are really friendly. In terms of food, we started with a dozen oysters, the smoked trout dip, and the boquerones. The Boquerones was also delicious... the oysters were all fresh and can be ordered with horseradish and hot sauce (I think it was Crystal). Since it felt a little stuffy inside, I kindly asked if we could sit outside, and they said yes. After moving outside, we waited another 10+ minutes and still no one checked in on us. They took too long to find parking so we ended up dining without them. The atmosphere was very busy with a lot of the people waiting to be seated in line talking about how this is an SF staple. The weather was nice and we opted to eat outdoors. Service was friendly and quick once we were seated. I've never had geoduck and recently saw it on an episode of Masterchef so we had to get the geoduck ceviche. We also got 12 oysters to split, a mix of Kumamoto and Sweetwater since my personal preference is for sweet oysters. The geoduck ceviche had a unique spicy heat to it. Geoduck has a texture comparable to octopus, so if you're into octopus you might like geoduck. Matt and I both approved of the oysters. It's easy to dine quickly when you're eating seafood so we probably only spent 20 minutes or so seated. Eating oysters for your first meal of the day probably isn't the best move as we both felt a bit queasy afterwards, at no fault of the oysters themselves. I would be open to coming back but these were definitely oysters on the pricier side and I might only recommend to tourists looking to dine beside the water.
