    Shrimp and clam boil
    Nina C.

Stopped here for a Wednesday night dinner around 7:30 pm. We were immedietaly greeted with "welcome my friends" and the vibes were very welcoming. We decided to share the steak fries, and a boil with shrimp and clams. The fries were incredible. Perfectly cooked, not too oily, and the steak and guacamole rounded out the fries well. For the boil we were recommend to go with the cajun garlic butter sauce and I'm glad we did. So flavorful yet not too heavy. It was a pound each for shrimp and clams, which were $27 a pound, and we were feeling very full by the end of dinner. Definitely a small spot, with less than 10 tables, but if you're in the area I definitely recommend!

Seafood Station! This a family owned and run business and they are really sweet and offer GREAT quality seafood. This is a clean small place with 8 tables and few bar tops. I ordered the baja tacos to-go. They come with two fried fish tacos and a side salad. Ok the side salad has a simple but delicious vinegrette! This order was also so big I could've shared with another person. You would think two tacos and a small side salad is enough for one person but the tacos were HUGE! The service was great and attentive but most importantly they have FRESH & QUALITY seafood! They have salads, pastas, seafood boils, sandwiches and a decent kids menu. A must try if you are in the Bernal Heights area!

    Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Boil

Awesome seafood boil spot in the Bernal heights area. Family owned business and the staff are super friendly! We got 1lb of the Dungeness crab and 1lb of the shrimp with the mixed Cajun and garlic butter sauce. Loved that the shrimp was already de-shelled so you can just get to eating. I can describe the food more but I think the photo does all the talking. Intimate seating and the place was clean. We were able to walk in without reservations.

We discovered this place completely by chance--and we're so glad we did. The space is small and unassuming, but the dishes that come out of the kitchen are anything but. It has quickly become one of our favorite spots for seafood in San Francisco, especially for Dungeness crab, which is always incredibly fresh. This visit, we decided to combine two favorites. We ordered a whole Dungeness crab in their "All That and a Bag of Chips" sauce (yes, it actually comes with a bag of chips!) and added a pound of crawfish. The dish arrived generously coated in the house sauce, which was rich, bold, and impossible to resist. We ended up ordering a side of garlic bread just to soak up every last bit. To drink, we paired the meal with their house Sauvignon Blanc, which complemented the seafood perfectly. The service here is also exceptional. Ramzy is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always a pleasure to chat with, making the experience feel even more welcoming. We're usually in the Bay Area visiting family in Oakland, but we happily make the drive into San Francisco just to eat here. It's truly that good.

I love coming to Bernal to meet up with friends. The sun has always been out on this side of the city. It bustles with just the right amount of people, dogs, and cars, but not overwhelmingly so. This last visit was no different! My good friend made a reservation at Seafood Station for five at 12:30pm last Saturday. One of us in the group is pescatarian. This place had just what we needed - seafood and a bottle of wine to celebrate friendship and good wishes. The complimentary bread and olive oil was delicious. Some of the group shared oysters. A couple of them got steamed mussels and a couple of us got fish & chips. I also got a cup of clam chowder and I was not disappointed! I can say that everyone enjoyed their food. The service was stellar. We were checked on regularly and well taken care of. Seafood Station is not a huge space, but it is a decent size with several tables. I recommend this place if you're looking for a great seafood spot!

    STEAMED MUSSELS

Loved this place. Casual restaurant with a nice variety of seafood and fish at excellent prices. We each ordered something different. The salads were fresh and ample . The kale salad was amazing and they added large shrimp to the salad. The wedge salad was huge. She ordered a cup of clam chowder and it was the size of a bowl. My sister had the mussels with a side of fries. The mussels came in a nice broth with fresh tomatoes. I had grilled Bronzino perfectly grilled with nice crisp skin and grilled corn on the cob and grilled broccoli. My bother had the cod with a sauce and veggies. We loved that everything was fresh not canned. And lots of food. The key lime pie was homemade. We will be back.

Seafood station is an incredible neighborhood joint with excellent service and fresh seafood! We ordered the boil and the steamed seafood combo for dinner. For drinks we got a bottle of wine, and for $35 it's a great deal! For both entrees the seafood was cooked perfectly and everything was very well seasoned. I love how they used chicken broth because it added more flavor and gave it more depth. The boil was delicious and I wanted to dip everything in it! The white wine brother for the steamers was light but still full of flavor. I will definitely make the trek back and get some apps and more seafood!

Solid competitor (if not better) of Sotto Mare Hands down one of the best seafood spots in San Francisco. It's a little farther out, which I think keeps it off most people's radar--but that just adds to the hidden gem feel. We made the drive out and it was so worth it. We were blown away by the food. We ordered the shrimp, mussels, and clams in a lemon-based soup dish, plus a half crab and crawfish broil with the mixed seasoning and spicy crab--it was TO DIE FOR. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Honestly, it gives Sotto Mare a run for its money--and in my opinion, it was better. The ambiance was more relaxed, there was no wait, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. They even helped us taste through all the wines so we could pick our favorite bottle. We ended up loving the Pinot Grigio, the Chardonnay was also great, but the Sauvignon Blanc wasn't our favorite. If you're craving incredible seafood without the chaos or long lines, this place is a must. Can't wait to go back!

My sister and I came in for happy hour on Tuesday. Service was great and food was good. We really liked the calamari, crab cakes, raw oysters, and cioppini. We ordered the garlic fries too but it didn't have enough garlic or maybe they were using jar garlic, I tasted more Parmesan than anything else. But I will definitely come back for seafood!

I wanted a seafood boil so went to the closest place to me. The taste was not as I expected but it was still pretty yummy. I expected it to taste like a Louisiana style seafood boil (it didn't unfortunately). It took about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. I give this place 4 stars because the staff were really kind and there were lots of other food items that looked so delicious! I really want to come back someday and try the other menu options!

    Cioppino
    Mariya G.

The BEST CIOPPINO I've ever had! The tomato base is so flavorful with lots of mild spices, onions, shallots, and herbs. The seafood was cooked perfectly! I like my mussels and clams a little undercooked but the shrimp, fish and crab was absolutely perfect. Even high end restaurants overcook their seafood, especially the shrimp. The cioppino was excellent here. My husband tried the clam chowder which he said was the best he'd ever had as well! Not too thick and very flavorful. He rated his fish and chips a 10/10! Across the board this family owned restaurant blew us away. The owners took our order and served our food. They were very kind and attentive. The restaurant itself is spacious and very clean. This place is a hidden treasure. We might regret sharing but they deserve the attention. Highly recommend!

Solid 4.5 stars We arrived early in SF around 530 ish. Found parking a few blocks away but it wasn't so difficult to find parking. We were the first ones in the restaurant for dinner. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Enough for four of us. Cajun cod, fish and chips, mussels and ciopinno. The complementary bread went well with my clam chowder and the mussels. The cilantro chorizo add a bit of spice and sour the sauce was delightful. I tried a bite of the ciopinno with the cheese bread. The sauce was delicious dipping with the garlic bread. I think the best dishes out of the four was the mussels and ciopinno. But we will be back to try some additional dishes.

Go here if you like seafood! They cook with canola & olive oil. We got there early, 5p on a rainy spring day. The inside is small & cozy, like a neighborhood cafe - indeed several people stopped by for takeout who seemed to know the staff well. Only 10 or so small tables, and fairly close together. We were warmly greeted, my questions quickly answered. We had the clam chowder pot pie, fish & chips, and crab legs (more like a whole small crab!) in amazing broth (your choice of flavors). Everything was fresh & yummy. The clam chowder is quite rich (heavy cream?) with a puff pastry top. The bread is homemade or made nearby, yum. Our neighbors also really enjoyed their meal - we have to try the crab cakes next time. Sadly we had no room for dessert, so I never got ask what the creme brulee flavor is all about. I hope to be back sooner than later.

Delicious shellfish meals has always been on my mind before I personally give up on them. I preferred indoor dining since I got to see how hungry customers like their food so much. After finding out about the specials, it's too bad there's never any single fish dishes let alone mostly shellfish meals. Therefore, a shellfish salad was a suitable choice. A pair of prawns, Bay shrimps, crab meat remains, olives, slices of tomatoes, slices of radish, and the romaine lettuce as a base. The blue cheese dressing I've chosen didn't overwhelm the shrimp and crab flavors as I continue to enjoy every single bite. I'll be more than glad to have cioppino and some oyster shooters, but having the shellfish salad is the last shellfish meal I would ever have. I still give two thumbs up to Anchor Oyster Bar for their local sustainable seafood selection.

Once I started thinking of this place I started to map out hella meal possibilities with me creating dishes like San Francisco's native dish Cioppino and also making some salmon dishes along with some okay shrimp dishes like fried shrimp, skewer shrimps on the barbie, and scallop ceviche. The real feast on Good Friday would be getting the Dungeness Crab paired with some garlic noodles . This place has been a Mission District seafood institution and it's called Sun Fat Seafood company ( a former employee started Basa Seafood Express on 24th street). On a Spring stroll on Mission street between 22nd and 23rd streets I went inside a fresh seafood market. Inside you will see live lobsters in a tank. You will also see Dungeness Crab during crab season and also find of variety of fresh oysters selection along with scallops. You will also see sushi rolls when available along with different types of fishes. This place was the solution I was looking for to replace meat cravings and replace with seafood during Good Friday feast. This is definitely the place if you like it crustaceans and fish cooked or raw in SF. Inside Sun Fat Seafood you find some raw fish "fillet" to make your meal for " Good Friday" as some will "pray" and enjoy the fresh catch of seafood in San Francisco city by the "Bay" It's almost Good Friday so I feel "bless "I am alive and remembering those who passed away in peace may they "rest" I walk the streets of the Mission I "reminisce" and honor them on Good Friday feast as I eat some crab that's "Dungeness"

It was still very busy at 5:05pm and they were supposed to close at 5pm but also they wanted to make sure that all customers get what they needed. Very friendly staff, and extremely fresh seafood. I paid around $16 for a clams, cod and shrimps. It was enough for two people but the rest I had to put it in the freezer. Long story short, this is the place to go if you want fresh seafood.
