The garlic butter shrimp with corn and sausage is the usual go to order consisting of large shrimps. The current price for one pound of shrimp or clams is $23. The basil clams were surprisingly good combination. Clams had lots of pieces in there and there wasn't any loose pieces. French fries and sweet potatoes fries are a must buy. The Cajun seasoning is better on the chicken wings than the fries. If you're not a fan of seafood, there is garlic noodles and Cajun fried rice with diced Louisiana hot links. Garlic bread is made with fresh bread, and there is a generous amount of garlic to dip into your sauce. They provide gloves and buckets to put your shells. Staff was attentive to our needs asking how we liked the food or any additions to our current course. They have a couple big tables for parties of 6 or more. This would be a good place to have dinner and watch the game on their TV. Tip: order the Thai tea. the owner makes it from loose leaf instead of the powder for a more fragrant tea flavor.

Boiling Crab (BC) is still my favorite but when I don't feel like driving to the South Bay, I'll come here. I'm not a fan of their combo sauce. I was hoping for something like BC's whole shabang sauce but it had more spices. Partners family loves it though. I got the garlic butter and it was good though I'd like more garlic in it. Cajun fries are decent but won't order again. Garlic noodles are good and I prefer them over Thanh Long.

Overall, it's really hard to find a seafood boil in SF; most places are in Easy Bay or South Bay. However, this one definitely helps fight the cravings! Went here to celebrate my birthday dinner on a weekday night. We went an hour and a half before closing, and the restaurant was empty, except for the staff. We ordered the: - Seafood Combo B (1/2lb Shrimp, 1/2lb Clam, 1/2lb Mussel, 1/2 Dungeness Crab Legs) + non-spicy - Gumbo Food was pretty good and fast! It isn't my favorite cajun place, but it definitely helped curb the craving when we didn't want to drive out to another city to eat. I DEFINITELY ate that entire boil on my own and did not hesitate to because it was so tasty and had a good ratio of seafood. I would rate it at 3.5/5 for taste, how quickly the food was prepared for us, and how nice the staff was. The waitress kindly provided us: a table with paper lining on top, gloves, and a bucket to put the seafood shells in. For the restaurant, it was fairly small with a TV playing soccer. No other patrons but me and my friend, but it wasn't awkward at all; it felt very nice to have a quieter space to eat. TLDR; I would go here if you don't want to drive out to other cities and just want to curb the craving. However, if you're looking to impress your friends for BEST tasting seafood, I would drive to Boiling Crab or even further: Crab N Spice.

I love seafood boil and Cajun House is one of my go to in the Bay Area. Whenever I go, I get the garlic noodles, mixed vegetables (sautéed in garlic) and one of the combos depending on what I'm in the mood for. The sauce I usually get is the House Cajun and Garlic Butter (medium spice). Such a GOOOOOOOD combination! All of the staff are always so welcoming, friendly, and helpful!

First time trying seafood boil, and I love it. The sauce is very good, especially with rice. We ordered combo A for 2 people. I liked the clams the most then mussels then the shrimp. The shrimp didn't soak up the sauce as well as the others. The corn was delicious too, especially with the sauce. My friend liked the sausages too. The cajun fries were addicting!

I love Cajun house. Anytime I have a craving for Cajun food and crawfish, I come here. Ben and Wendy are amazing and have great sauces. Typically come here for crawfish, but when it's not in season, I come for crab, clams, and shrimp. Always order the gumbo and broccolini or cauliflower. Always chooses house Cajun. Place is small with only a few workers. So be patient. And make reservations if you can.

This place is top notch when it comes to food and service. Ben and Wendy were amazing. We even had them take shots with us, not too many since there were working and we were their last customers of the night. We brought a cake and gave it to Wendy to surprise our friend for her birthday, wendy was funny because she actually told the birthday girl about the cake when we were discussing the menu. Now for the food. The garlic noodles, were perfect. Al dente, the flavor so amazing and the garlic and butter well balanced. The mussels in fresh basil surprised me since I didn't think it would be one of my favorites of the night. We ordered lemon pepper chicken wings, who does that at a Cajun restaurant?! We do! It was better than some wing places that I have been, the only caveat is that I wished we asked for extra crispy. The two crabs we ordered had the "butter" inside, which was so silky smooth, unfortunately I had to share with others. The shrimps were not over cooked and were not chewy but tender just the way I like them. We also had oysters that were fresh and had a slight salty flavor. My mouth is watering just thinking of this dinner. Can't wait to go back with good friends.

I LOVE Cajun House! Everytime I have had it, the meal was bursting with flavor, and the portion size was incredibly generous-- you definitely get your bang for your buck. I have ordered here three times through Uber eats, after the first time I got it I ordered it again the next day because it was SOOOOOO good. The third time I had it was because my boyfriend was visiting town and I HAD TO HAVE HIM TRY IT. So far I have had their crawfish boil and seafood combo A with their house Cajun sauce. BOTH SOOO AMAZING!! Not overcooked, delicious sauce, the seafood was juicy, and it came to my house still hot! I have yet to actually go to the restaurant because I've been super busy with school, but the interaction I have had with the restaurant when it came to asking questions through the Uber eats app or phone call has always been great. They are sweet people and I love supporting a small family business I am also somewhat new to SF, I have been here for about 8 months now, and this is definitely in my top five favorite places to eat. Overall 1000000/10 stars and I definitely recommend going here for an AMAZING seafood boil.

A good seafood boil in the neighborhood, the crawfish garlic noodles were much more impressive than the seafood boil itself, the boil was good but nothing exceptional. We had it with the house Cajun sauce medium spicy, next time we go we would definitely try a different sauce. The service was attentive and personal, she was very kind and recommended what we should go on our next visit. And the interior is nothing special, but can definitely fit larger groups.

My favorite seafood boil in SF is Cajun House! My to-go order is one of the seafood boil combos with an appetizer, such as gumbo. I usually take my orders to go, and when I come home, my food is still warm and delicious. My favorite part of their seafood boil is their House Cajun sauce. I usually mix the sauce with some hot white rice. Their service is great, and the staff were lovely. Cajun House is take-out and dine-in friendly, which makes it perfect for any occasion!

Tiny pieces of SMALL chopped parts of the king crab with little to no meat. BIG SCAM.

I asked for 1.5 pounds of King Crab with shrimp and little pieces of sausage. At $85 per pound, we were served chopped TINY PIECES of questionably "king crab" that looked like baby king crab with tiny old, dried pieces of crab. This was the WORST seafood boil I have ever had at 3 times the price of the BEST I have ever had in other places in the Bay Area. They had the gull to charge us $14 for a small plate of garlic spaghetti noodles...unbelievable. I mentioned being disappointed about the king crab pieces that did not add up to 1.5 pounds and she quickly said, "oh sorry" and ran away to the kitchen. Stay away from this scam. The bill came to $200. We left still hungry.

Super delicious seafood and revived amazing service by Kaylee. Thank you for everything. Totally recommended.

Our waiter seemed overworked and irritated, and it was difficult to get attentive service throughout the evening. While I understand busy nights happen, the overall experience felt rushed and disconnected. That said, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant has a dark, sultry, upscale feel that makes it perfect for a date night or special occasion. The atmosphere felt luxurious and intimate, which made the service shortcomings even more noticeable. The food was good, but the service didn't quite match the high-end experience I was expecting. I'm hoping this was just an off night.

Quality/Quantity - We had a large group, thank you for accommodating. I believe we made reservations, where we would not be seated until everyone showed up. Good thing the group all showed up on time (for once, lol). Ordered the following for our table, our other table had our larger half of the group. But due to the door mishap, I did not want to walk over to take pictures of their food/order. Okonomiyaki Fries - Was too soggy for me, but everyone else on our table enjoyed it. Popcorn Salmon - I did not enjoy this, but everyone else on both tables loved it, so it was "a me problem." Boneless Fried Chicken - I enjoyed it, but no one else did?!?! I guess I have very different tastes from this group...? Tonkatsu Ramen - Good. But very basic. Beef Short Rib Plate - Three orders, both people enjoyed it. Actually, our young eater ate 1.5 of this plate, 1/2 from his mom's order. This order also came with a side salad and steamed rice. Bulgogi Plate - I can't remember if I got my rice?!?! Well, the beef was of decent quantity, I actually brought a little back home for leftovers, with the boneless fried chicken. At home, it was a little too salty, too much soy sauce. Sizzling Bibimbap - My daughter's dish which was also good. I believe she had leftovers. Our other table got the regular bibimbap, they said next time they will try the sizzling as they felt that was better. Lastly, our guest on the other table ordered one of each dessert for both tables. Mango Panna Cotta & Chocolate Tartufo - I am not a chocolate person, but enjoyed the Tartufo better. Our guest wanted Soju! The first time, so we ended up ordering two hot larges. Smooth and went down too easily. I then finished my meal with a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Boy I miss this beer, I have not had in a while. Too busy supporting local breweries. Overall, the food was just okay for me and my daughter. Ambiance - Outside looks good, and new. Love the menus and the happy hour information. Might come back for HH. Small local restaurant. A few tables and bar seating. Clean restrooms, two unisex. Street metered parking, free after 6pm. Plenty of street parking. Service - Okay, the front door has issues... It stays open, then does NOT close. It is slanted, so you have to "force" it to close. When we ALL got here, I guess we left the front door open by accident. Well, the waitress did NOT appreciate that (I stayed outside taking my Yelp pictures while everyone else walked in). She gave me a LOOK... While I was still outside, more people came in and I tried to close the door for them and because the door is slanted, it did not close and had to be "forced" resulting in a slam, sorry. Got another look... After that, I went straight to my seat. Menus on the table. Price - Expensive, or did we order too much? I think our bill with tax and tip came out to almost $800. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2017; look forward to trying your happy hour.

Between the three of us, we offered a variety of appetizer and dishes; what stands out is the quality of their ingredients, and the sophistication and perfection in their usage of spices, creating excellent and balanced flavors. * Spring Roll wrap - A must order dish. Perfectly fried spring roll with lettuce wrap and spiced dipping sauce. Excellent! * Clay Pot rice - I really like the clay pot rice here. They use Chinese sausage and the flavorful pork neck meat, over fragrant jasmine rice.. it was cooked for perfection and packed with flavors. Note, their clay pot rice does not come with crispy rice bottom, but just ask if you want it. ;) * Beef Tartare- excellent flavor and soft fresh beef tartare... so good! * Blue Shrimp Ceviche - another dish that highlights their culinary expertise. Sashimi- grade blue shrimp in their special sauce.. well balanced flavor and just perfect! * A highlight was definitely their sake and cocktail list... they have plenty of good drinks here. Everything about the ordering process and the quality of the food itself was good but not great. There was no wow factor or anything that left me feeling extra motivated to return, but I also wouldn't be opposed if I were nearby and craving onigiri. There's a single kiosk in-store to order at, but you can also place an order with the person working the counter if it's not too busy. I wasn't sure what I wanted immediately, so I waited for one of my friends to finish before ordering. I added 1 unagi eel, 1 unagi onigiri, and 1 crab onigiri to my basket and checked out. I have absolutely no idea what's the difference between "unagi eel" and "unagi onigiri", and when I went to pick up my order, the staff member told me my order was two unagi and one crab. However, I was charged $4.50 for the unagi eel and $4.30 for the unagi onigiri, so go figure. I could not detect a difference between the two, and the price of each averaged out to $4.40, so it's whatever. I unwrapped one of the unagi onigiris to eat in-store as we waited for a Zoox to arrive. It was actually pretty difficult to extricate the seaweed and rice ball filling in one piece to consume together, which I presume is because the onigiris are each made-to-order and due to the freshness, the separate ingredients haven't had a chance to marinate and congeal together. As I had not eaten all day, I quickly devoured the onigiris before and after our short ride back to a café where some of our other friends were waiting. The onigiris were, as I mentioned before, pretty standard minus the fact they kind of fell apart. I would say if you like onigiris, then these will get the job done, but they're nothing exceptional, so keep your standards at baseline.

I've been here twice recently, once for drinks and an appetizer and once for drinks and dessert. I…read moreappreciated that they had some non alcoholic drinks on the menu and both the ones I had were fine- not amazing but I appreciate the option. Service was pretty good and friendly but had to kind of flag down our waiter on both occasions at the end, not a huge deal. It's a nice place to catch up with a friend and quiet enough to have a conversation. Both times, my friends enjoyed the drinks they got- the chocolate negroni and a matcha martini. The second visit we came specifically for the matcha martini and also got the churros (chocolate sauce and matcha sauce) and a matcha basque cheesecake. The matcha lover I was with was very happy though for me, the matcha cheesecake was a bit much. It is very matcha forward and you will enjoy it if you love matcha. I liked the churros a lot and the portion was super genrous. Also got the brussel sprouts on the first visit which were solid - a bit on the salty side but pretty enjoyable and it was also a huge portion. Overall I'd definitely come back here. I'd been to their old location on Market street a bunch of times many years ago and loved it. This is very different in most ways but also good. Parking is easy enough - both street parking and in a garage. Not sure how busy they get but at least after 9 pm on a weeknight both times, it was not very busy but also not dead. They are open pretty late which is also good.

UGH I LOVE CANTONESE FOOD…read more we waited in line before opening at 5pm on a saturday and was able to sit within 90 minutes! wait this was my first time trying escargot and why did it taste so good...if i had to describe it it tasted like clams which i did not expect. the xo sauce was amazing with it. the milk bread that came with it was so fluffy and soft too lapmei bo zai fan was so good too i love the soy sauce they used. the lap yuk was a little fatty but the lap cheong was perfect. so much fan ziu too the fried squab lowkeyy tasted like hot dog tbh LOL i like siu ap a lot more. also just get the small squab (it's $10 cheaper and the waitress said she can't rly tell the size diff) there wasn't really that much meat tho... and then guys u cannot skip the red bean shaved ice oh my god. i didn't even know there was gonna be boba and ice cream inside but this was sooo good. i loveeee red bean the complimentary cucumber and peanuts were yum too a very nicely decorated interior and our waitress was so sweet!

I've been wanting to come here for a minute! It's been a tough reservation for me but love that…read morethey're poppin after all this time. They're known for their squab. The rabbit was SO good. I normally don't love hainanese chicken (their cold chicken small bite) but there's is fire. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE JELLFYFISH WITH HOT MUSTARD. Or the escargot for that matter. Dip that milk bread in that buttery garlic chili oil goodness. I'm literally getting hungry writing this as we speak. Everyone was so friendly, Jane was super helpful and nice when we asked questions about menu items. Wish I caught everyone else's name too, very welcoming spot. Heads up; not a huge spot, so I wouldn't recommend for a group bigger than 4. Come here, it's a must! Definitely grab a Rez if you can.
