The food was great ! We all got cocktails and food, and my party of 4 had no complaints. It's a warm atmosphere and not too loud in the place. I would come here again. Parking can be a little challenging in this area. Not five stars because the bathroom needed some attending to and one of the stalls in the women's restroom was completely dark

Stopped by here while waiting for our reservations at another restaurant and ended up really enjoying the vibe. The people here were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We grabbed seats at the bar and browsed the menu, which honestly looked pretty good with very reasonable prices, but we were just there for drinks this time. I ordered the MEZ-CALI MARGARITA with verde amaras mezcal, agave, lime, orange, pineapple, smoke bubble, chilled with a tajin rim and served on the rocks. Not bad at all, the tajin rim really made the drink and tied everything together nicely. Definitely a spot I'd come back to so we can actually try the food next time because everything coming out looked really good.

Really love how beautiful this spot is from the tables to the bar. The staff were so kind and friendly. We came for happy hour, unfortunately it is only at the bar, so we weren't able to talk to each other easily as a large group. Drinks were food though. We ended up at a table once we decided on some food. We got chips and guac, onion rings, and ceviche. The food was good, but nothing particularly memorable. I would be interested in coming back for dinner though!

My BFF had a layover in SF and wanted to take her to a nice restaurant. Was able to make quick reservations online and was seated immediately upon our arrival. We ordered ceviche, calamari, pasta and steak and everything was delicioussssss!!! The flavor to everything was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back to try more items and shoutout to GRUBWITHMIKE for an amazing recommendation!

We went for my friends' bridal luncheon, the place is a real upgrade since it was Cha Cha Chas.. so nice inside! The food was delicious! We shared a bit of a lot! our waiter was nice but not too efficient, we had to ask for more water & for the table yo clear out dirty dish entrees.. he was a bit slow & we even had to ask for the bill; he also said we couldn't sit on the top floor because there wasn't enough help

super friendly staff, make you feel very welcome. Went for their happy hour (4-7) which is only served at the bar but such a great bang for your buck. me and my friend had calamari, patatas bravas and burrata and they were all really good. Loved the beauty of the restaurant as well super cute space!

Im a little short for the table we sat at so I was a bit of a wiggler. The place is aesthetically pleasing and the food matches the vibe. The drinks were good, we were here for brunch/lunch. The food was out quickly. The staff were attentive and regularly asked if we were good. My amiga lives in the area so this was a nice walk from her place. If you drive plan to park some blocks over. Definitely satisfied my brunch craving.

Had dinner here last night and it's even better than its cha cha cha days. Which seems impossible. The ceviche was so fresh and citrusy. The Cajun shrimp were so creamy and spicy, you can't go wrong getting these. The mussels and warm spinach salad were also delicious. The waiter told us we ordered the best things and we certainly did. Oh the sangria is also a must. Ambiance is fun as well! The renovation updated the place in ways it needed.

Great vibes for weekend brunch! Super chill experience and never felt rushed. Usually brunch is too overstimulating for me with how packed and busy some places get. Favorite dish was the Cajun Shrimp Eggs Benedict. I loved the cajun sauce on this and everything was cooked to perfection and paired well with each other. Everything else I tried was ok. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce and rice in the Jamaican Jerk Sauce Beef Steak Loco Moco. But I enjoyed the beef steak part of it. Guava Creme Brûlée French Toast tasted like a french toast to me. I'm not a big french toast person to begin with though and I'm not sure what was supposed to be guava about the dish. Did the bottomless mimosa and sangria. 90 minute limit for this. I liked the guava mimosa the most. Don't get the sangrias, I didn't enjoy the red or the white sangrias.

I found out about this place by walking through the neighborhood and found the name to be kinda cute so decided to check it out. Didn't have too high of expectations as I've not heard too much about it. When we first entered either the manager or owner whoever was super friendly and the vibes are really cute inside. We came to share some tapas, we got the shishito peppers, calamari, mussels and ceviche. We also ordered the creole paella. Tapas plates were actually bigger than I expected! The seafood was very fresh, my personal favorite was the ceviche but the mussels were a close second with the wine garlic sauce. The bread that dips with it is perfectly toasted but still soft. However one dish that was just okay were the shishito peppers, they were SUPER salty, maybe just a heavy handed day but the flavor was good. When the paella came I totally forgot it was creole paella so I was like ohh didn't seem that authentic, it was very buttery and great flavors, but then my friend was like yeah it's creole remember? And honestly it really changed my mindset it's definitely a highlight! Will say though the butter did make it a bit toooo greasy for my taste. Overall I'll definitely be back!

Sangria & Salt is to die for! We came to celebrate a late birthday and everything we got was a hit. We got the following items: Guava Creme Brulee French toast, Cajun Shrimp Eggs Benedict, and the Shredded Jerk Chicken Chilaquiles. My mouth is watering just remembering everything I ate. The Cajun Shrimp Eggs benedict was a great twist on the class eggs benedict, especially if you're a seafood fan - perfect, jammy egg and beautifully cooked shrimp. The chilaquiles were a mix of perfect flavors in my mouth, saucy but crispy at the same time, and the chicken was a hit. If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong with the Guava Creme French toast! It was the refreshing ending we needed for our meal. Service was amazing, and we received some great recommendations from our waitress. The interior is gorgeous and SO spacious. I enjoyed coming here for brunch, but dinner here would be an amazing vibe. Grabbing a drink at the bar with a friend here would be fantastic. Can't recommend Sangria & Salt enough! I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu.

We really wanted to like this place. The fact that they offered jerk chicken chilaquiles did us in. Everything was great in the beginning, we were seated promptly, given menus, and orders taken within minutes of walking in. Our food even came promptly! At least two of the dishes we ordered. Said chilaquiles and the cajun shrimp egg Benedict arrived promptly. But the other entrée didn't get there until about 10 minutes after we got ours. We ordered the guava crème brûlée French toast to share and we started eating that before our entrées because we didn't want to eat before the rest of our party had their food. By the time that last entrée arrived, we were pretty full. And, unfortunately, the crispy beef vaca grits entrée was very disappointing. It was supposed to come with two poached eggs that were very well done. Our waitress acknowledged it as soon as she put the plate down, and told us that the chef will be sending an order of poached eggs because the ones on the plate weren't good. (I don't know why they put it on the plate if they didn't feel it was good enough, but whatever.) Well, those eggs never appeared. They went missing just like a waitress lol Anyway, I think I liked the chilaquiles, but was un impressed with the French toast. The menu stated that it was "guava" but I didn't taste any guava whatsoever. It might have been the sauce that they drizzle over it, but it didn't taste like guava to me at all. Maybe their dinner options and service is a lot better, but I would definitely not return here for brunch.

We tried quite a few things, including the ceviche sampler, empanada sampler, Classico ceviche, octopus, and of course, a Pisco Sour. The ceviches were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also really enjoyed the chicken and steak empanadas! The mushroom and corn flavors weren't really for my palate, but I liked being able to try a variety with the sampler. The one dish that fell short for me was the octopus. I order octopus pretty often, and when it's prepared well, it can be incredibly tender, almost with the tenderness and texture of meat. Unfortunately, this one was quite chewy and tough, which was disappointing. The Pisco Sour was delicious and a must if you're coming here! At the end of dinner, they surprised my husband with a complimentary tres leches cake for his birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. He normally isn't a fan of tres leches, but he actually really enjoyed this one because it was super light and not overly heavy or sweet. Overall, we had a great time celebrating his birthday. Between the ceviche, drinks, service, and birthday surprise, there was a lot to enjoy. The octopus was really the main thing keeping it from being a 5 star experience for me. 4/5 and I'd definitely come back!

We had to flag her down a few times whenever we needed something instead of her checking in on us. We ordered the bistek sandwich and bistek plate. The sandwich was actually really good, although it was a little hard to eat like an actual sandwich because the meat wasn't sliced up. I basically had to eat the steak separately. The sauce it came with aka crack sauce, was SO good. I ended up grabbing a couple to take home because it went well with pretty much everything. Just beware that they charge an extra $1 per sauce. The plantain fries were good, but I wish they were a little crispier. The bistek plate, however, was probably a 3/5 for me. It lacked flavor and just wasn't anything particularly special. We ended up using the crack sauce to give it more flavor. The chicken empanadas were also pretty bland. Overall, the restaurant has a loud, lively atmosphere and the experience was alright. There were definitely some hits and misses, but that crack sauce was easily the highlight!

With no planning, we showed up at Pacifico, which was just a couple blocks from our concert. The restaurant was a little weird - it sits within the lobby of the SF Jazz recital hall, and all the signs are for "B-Side". It's a little unclear to me still whether the restaurant is called B-Side or Pacifico, but the waiter told us that Pacifico is new, with a new chef and new menu. The inspirations are Colombia, Peru, and California cooking, which was very appealing to us. We ordered two items off the specials menu (Tuna Tostada and Short Rib) and one from the permanent menu (Hearts of Palm Ceviche). The Tuna Tostada was both of our favorite. It was light, refreshing, and there were these little pops of flavor from burnt, deeply fried jalapeños. The Hearts of Palm ceviche was interesting and unique (a completely vegetarian dish, but made in the style of ceviche and with leche de tigre). Ultimately, it was more interesting than appetizing. Finally, the Short Rib was well cooked, but unfortunately just way too sweet for our palate.

I also wasn't a big fan of the dessert, so I'd probably skip that next time. Overall, though, the food was fresh and flavorful, the dishes were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed the experience. I'd definitely come back--especially for that salmon ceviche!

The poc-chuc pork meat was an insane flavor - while the citrus marinade wasn't super obvious like it didn't taste citrus-y, it tasted like no other pork I've had before and so flavorful and moist. The meat came on a freshly made tortilla as well - it was piping hot! And the tortilla was like no other corn or flour tortilla Ive had before.
