Really love how beautiful this spot is from the tables to the bar. The staff were so kind and friendly. We came for happy hour, unfortunately it is only at the bar, so we weren't able to talk to each other easily as a large group. Drinks were food though. We ended up at a table once we decided on some food. We got chips and guac, onion rings, and ceviche. The food was good, but nothing particularly memorable. I would be interested in coming back for dinner though!

My BFF had a layover in SF and wanted to take her to a nice restaurant. Was able to make quick reservations online and was seated immediately upon our arrival. We ordered ceviche, calamari, pasta and steak and everything was delicioussssss!!! The flavor to everything was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back to try more items and shoutout to GRUBWITHMIKE for an amazing recommendation!

Stopped by here while waiting for our reservations at another restaurant and ended up really enjoying the vibe. The people here were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We grabbed seats at the bar and browsed the menu, which honestly looked pretty good with very reasonable prices, but we were just there for drinks this time. I ordered the MEZ-CALI MARGARITA with verde amaras mezcal, agave, lime, orange, pineapple, smoke bubble, chilled with a tajin rim and served on the rocks. Not bad at all, the tajin rim really made the drink and tied everything together nicely. Definitely a spot I'd come back to so we can actually try the food next time because everything coming out looked really good.

We went for my friends' bridal luncheon, the place is a real upgrade since it was Cha Cha Chas.. so nice inside! The food was delicious! We shared a bit of a lot! our waiter was nice but not too efficient, we had to ask for more water & for the table yo clear out dirty dish entrees.. he was a bit slow & we even had to ask for the bill; he also said we couldn't sit on the top floor because there wasn't enough help

I really loved the food, the service , upgrades and atmosphere loved loved loved. So delicious honestly.

Im a little short for the table we sat at so I was a bit of a wiggler. The place is aesthetically pleasing and the food matches the vibe. The drinks were good, we were here for brunch/lunch. The food was out quickly. The staff were attentive and regularly asked if we were good. My amiga lives in the area so this was a nice walk from her place. If you drive plan to park some blocks over. Definitely satisfied my brunch craving.

Had dinner here last night and it's even better than its cha cha cha days. Which seems impossible. The ceviche was so fresh and citrusy. The Cajun shrimp were so creamy and spicy, you can't go wrong getting these. The mussels and warm spinach salad were also delicious. The waiter told us we ordered the best things and we certainly did. Oh the sangria is also a must. Ambiance is fun as well! The renovation updated the place in ways it needed.

Great vibes for weekend brunch! Super chill experience and never felt rushed. Usually brunch is too overstimulating for me with how packed and busy some places get. Favorite dish was the Cajun Shrimp Eggs Benedict. I loved the cajun sauce on this and everything was cooked to perfection and paired well with each other. Everything else I tried was ok. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce and rice in the Jamaican Jerk Sauce Beef Steak Loco Moco. But I enjoyed the beef steak part of it. Guava Creme Brûlée French Toast tasted like a french toast to me. I'm not a big french toast person to begin with though and I'm not sure what was supposed to be guava about the dish. Did the bottomless mimosa and sangria. 90 minute limit for this. I liked the guava mimosa the most. Don't get the sangrias, I didn't enjoy the red or the white sangrias.

I found out about this place by walking through the neighborhood and found the name to be kinda cute so decided to check it out. Didn't have too high of expectations as I've not heard too much about it. When we first entered either the manager or owner whoever was super friendly and the vibes are really cute inside. We came to share some tapas, we got the shishito peppers, calamari, mussels and ceviche. We also ordered the creole paella. Tapas plates were actually bigger than I expected! The seafood was very fresh, my personal favorite was the ceviche but the mussels were a close second with the wine garlic sauce. The bread that dips with it is perfectly toasted but still soft. However one dish that was just okay were the shishito peppers, they were SUPER salty, maybe just a heavy handed day but the flavor was good. When the paella came I totally forgot it was creole paella so I was like ohh didn't seem that authentic, it was very buttery and great flavors, but then my friend was like yeah it's creole remember? And honestly it really changed my mindset it's definitely a highlight! Will say though the butter did make it a bit toooo greasy for my taste. Overall I'll definitely be back!

Sangria & Salt is to die for! We came to celebrate a late birthday and everything we got was a hit. We got the following items: Guava Creme Brulee French toast, Cajun Shrimp Eggs Benedict, and the Shredded Jerk Chicken Chilaquiles. My mouth is watering just remembering everything I ate. The Cajun Shrimp Eggs benedict was a great twist on the class eggs benedict, especially if you're a seafood fan - perfect, jammy egg and beautifully cooked shrimp. The chilaquiles were a mix of perfect flavors in my mouth, saucy but crispy at the same time, and the chicken was a hit. If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong with the Guava Creme French toast! It was the refreshing ending we needed for our meal. Service was amazing, and we received some great recommendations from our waitress. The interior is gorgeous and SO spacious. I enjoyed coming here for brunch, but dinner here would be an amazing vibe. Grabbing a drink at the bar with a friend here would be fantastic. Can't recommend Sangria & Salt enough! I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu.

We really wanted to like this place. The fact that they offered jerk chicken chilaquiles did us in. Everything was great in the beginning, we were seated promptly, given menus, and orders taken within minutes of walking in. Our food even came promptly! At least two of the dishes we ordered. Said chilaquiles and the cajun shrimp egg Benedict arrived promptly. But the other entrée didn't get there until about 10 minutes after we got ours. We ordered the guava crème brûlée French toast to share and we started eating that before our entrées because we didn't want to eat before the rest of our party had their food. By the time that last entrée arrived, we were pretty full. And, unfortunately, the crispy beef vaca grits entrée was very disappointing. It was supposed to come with two poached eggs that were very well done. Our waitress acknowledged it as soon as she put the plate down, and told us that the chef will be sending an order of poached eggs because the ones on the plate weren't good. (I don't know why they put it on the plate if they didn't feel it was good enough, but whatever.) Well, those eggs never appeared. They went missing just like a waitress lol Anyway, I think I liked the chilaquiles, but was un impressed with the French toast. The menu stated that it was "guava" but I didn't taste any guava whatsoever. It might have been the sauce that they drizzle over it, but it didn't taste like guava to me at all. Maybe their dinner options and service is a lot better, but I would definitely not return here for brunch.

Food is good and drinks are solid. Gorgeous interior, a level up from Cha Cha Cha's casual ambiance. It was a quiet evening during the holidays and the staff was fairly attentive, always checking on us to ask if we were okay. We were each impressed with our drinks, Cha Cha Cha, Sangria, and 'Ol Smokey. For apps we ordered the classic cajun shrimp, so glad they kept this on the menu, it was literally the best thing we had. While I won't say the food is not good, it's just not anything I've never had before. I probably won't run back to this place unless it's for drinks and apps before a night out. Everything was Delicious! We had a reservation for 4, and waited about 15 min for our table when we arrived. Space was packed. As we got seated, seats were very close to the next table behind me. Our server was Amazing and helped us pick what to get. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. I really loved the ceviche, crab cake. The sauces were good but repetitive. Would love to come again

Everything we had here was surprisingly delicious. We had the Paella Mixta. Normally when we have Spanish paella I'm dissapointed by the scarcity of seafood and the chewiness of undercooked rice, but OMG this paella was delicious. The rice was so flavorful and addictive and there was an endless amount of juicy chicken, tender fish, shrimp, calamari, mussels . We're normally done scavenging for the good stuff in a minute between the four of us , but we even had leftovers tonight which was awesome. We also really enjoyed the plantain appetizer, the plantains were cooked, so tender and sweet, but also had these nice crisp edges. Also loved the black bean puree it came with. Also ordered the cheese quesadillas which were awesome. The cheese tasted so good, I assume it was Oaxacan cheese, it didn't taste like a plain mozzarella quesadilla Warm spinach salad was surprisingly tasty as well ! Comes with a light creamy dressing that wasn't overpowering, and well flavored by the mushrooms. I even had them removed the bacon and it was still a very tasty dish. Like they were left over from the night before. Randy enjoyed his mocha. We shared a very dry, flavorless except for the two small bits of jam in them, "cheese" danish. You order when you walk in and someone delivers your order and then you're left to fend for yourself. We were able to locate some ketchup for the potatoes on our own. Nobody ever checked on us. This is the second place on this visit that's charging an extra 5% fee so that their employees can have a living wage and health insurance, which absolutely, every employee should have. With the prices they charge, they should already be able to do that, though. I read an article about this fee with many different names and I would rather pay a bit higher of a price and know the employees were taken care of than be surprised by this fee later. Two sandwich breakfasts, a mocha and a danish on top of tax and their healthy sf fee was $63. Steep for the quality we got. Won't be back.

Once you step through the doors, however, you're greeted by a space that feels both cozy and contemporary, with an effortlessly stylish atmosphere. Even the restroom was thoughtfully designed and remarkably comfortable--a small detail, but one that speaks to the restaurant's overall attention to detail. We began with the Uni Scallop Toast and Mulhwe as appetizers. As someone who is typically not a fan of uni due to its pronounced brininess, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the toast. The bright citrus sauce balanced the richness of the uni beautifully, while the contrasting textures from the crisp toast and delicate scallop created a harmonious bite. The scallop also helped mellow the stronger oceanic notes of the uni. It was a creative and memorable dish unlike anything I've had before. The Mulhwe, a Korean-style fish salad, was dressed in a refreshing apple vinaigrette that gave it a light, summery citrus character. The fish itself had a pleasantly chewy texture--firmer than salmon--with no trace of fishiness. While enjoyable, it didn't leave quite the same impression as the uni toast and was my least favorite dish of the evening. For our entrées, we ordered the Galbi Steak and Pork Jowl Bossam. Both dishes showcased exceptional execution. The meats were cooked perfectly, but what stood out even more was the precision in preparation. The steak was expertly sliced and incredibly tender--so much so that even with braces, it was effortless to enjoy. The pork jowl achieved an ideal balance between lean meat and luscious fat, creating a rich yet satisfying bite. We enjoyed the meal so much that dessert was non-negotiable. The Matcha Tiramisu was a creative interpretation of the classic. A dome of mascarpone cheese encased ladyfinger biscuits at its center, accompanied by a vibrant matcha ganache sauce. The dessert leaned far less sweet than traditional tiramisu, allowing the earthy matcha and creamy mascarpone flavors to shine. It was elegant, balanced, and a wonderful way to end the meal. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our server was soft-spoken, patient, and genuinely attentive throughout the evening, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. Considering the quality of the food, thoughtful presentation, ambiance, and service, I found the pricing to be completely justified. As a pleasant surprise, I later learned that Bansang is part of the same restaurant group behind Daeho--a detail that certainly explains the level of quality we experienced.

The toast, scallops, and uni were all served at the same temperature, and the sauce was barely noticeable, adding little to the dish. A contrast in temperature, texture, or a more pronounced sauce would have made it much more enjoyable. The Scallop & Shrimp Salad was overly sweet, which overpowered the delicate flavors of the seafood. The Chicken Wings were decent, but at 4 wings for $18, they felt overpriced. The Mushroom Silk Tofu was beautifully presented and visually appealing. The Black Cod was cooked perfectly--moist, tender, and flaky. However, while the fish itself was excellent, the sauce was forgettable and didn't leave a lasting impression or elevate the dish. Overall, the food was mediocre. While each dish had potential, the flavors often felt disconnected and lacked harmony. Combined with the expensive price point, the overall dining experience didn't justify the cost. The ambiance is lovely, but I left hoping for a more memorable meal. Wouldn't come back.
