Dined here last night and our meals were very good. Wife had the braised short rib and I totally enjoyed the French pork chop. Meal and drinks were a good value. View is outstanding. Waitress was very efficient. But...........We had a sticky wooden table without a tablecloth. I ordered the steak and fries with chimichurri and the steak was good but there was no chimichurri to be seen. If you want steak and slightly sautéed onions on top of fries this is the dish for you. Definitely disappointed. My first drink the glass had someone else's lipstick on it, the waitress was apologetic and replaced it quickly with a new martini. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Salisbury. The views of the ocean are spectacular! I felt a bit under dressed here. Most of the people had very nice attire but you can wear most anything. The staff were very accommodating and quick. My group ordered French Onion Soup, Burgers, kids Chicken tenders, fish tacos, bang bang cauliflower, firecracker shrimp, and truffle fries. All were delicious but you have to like a little heat on some of the dishes. The drinks were perfect. This is another one I would recommend. Lots of open seating by windows looking at the ocean. I came here for my anniversary dinner and it was amazing. We were sat next to the windows and watched the sunset with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful. Heather was our server and was lovely. She had very kind eyes. We started the night with the crab cake and bang bang shrimp. The crab cake was outrageous and the bang bang shrimp was veryyyy spicy. For entrees, we split the haddock and the scallops - instead of the potatoes both dishes come with, we subbed with mashed and lemon risotto. It was a perfect combination. We have been here many times, this time it was disappointing. We had reservations for 7 to celebrate my mother in laws 95th bday. We were put in a corner with no view of the ocean. 5 of us ordered the seafood casserole $36. Very disappointing. 3 small over cooked shrimp about 4 very small bay scallops and tiny piece of stringy fish and no lobster which was listed on the description and covered with a lot of bread crumbs. The apps weren't horrible but pricey, the beet salad was tasty but mostly leaf lettuce with very little beets. The desserts were very good but again very pricey. Overrated place. The view is about the only thing this place has going for it. The food is not good.

Seaglass has spectacular views. If you snag a window side table (and the windows have been cleaned), then you will be in for a treat. We've been a few times and have found service to be pleasant, but food is a bit slow coming from the kitchen. On our last visit, we were there to dine with friends and see a comedy show next door. We advised our waitress, and she assured us not to worry. Nonetheless, with a 2.5 hour dinner window, we had to rush at the end and no time for dessert. She admitted that most everybody is waiting to go to the show so the kitchen backs up. Cocktails were good, and I had the french onion soup as a starter. Classic, old school style and it was delicious. Exactly as I wanted. I went with the halibut special dinner entree and was surprised at how large a piece of fish I was given. It was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. The risotto side however had an unusual texture and was a bit overwhelmed with pesto. As previously mentioned there was no time for a dessert and we had to hustle for the check in order to make our show in time. This is a nice venue overall, and has a big parking lot where diners can park at no charge. read more

It is very sad how this restaurant declined over the years. First I will say our waitress was lovely and she gets points for saying the bread is complimentary. Many places surprise charge these days, The food was mediocre at best. The paella was between not very flavorful and just ok. The oysters were non descrip. I asked what they were and was told they're from Ipswich. Not enough info. My entree was not what I ordered though I will say the scallops were cooked perfectly. It was of course replaced but the paella had to be eaten while I waited for my seafood casserole. That too was alright. Best were the roasted green beans and potatoes. The casserole had way to many breadcrumbs so the fish was hard to find and nearly tasteless. (the fish) No desserts were tempting at that point. The blackberry mule was delicious. Open table asked if it was an occasion, as did the hostesses and our waitress. Why? There was no acknowledgement. This was once a favorite restaurant and the ocean view is still spectacular. Went to Seaglass after hearing pretty good things about it. It is located at Salisbury Beach. We were sat right away, right next to the windows. The sea was a little angry that day so the view was pretty dramatic. Dining room is very nice inside. We had a great waitress and ordered drinks. We both decided on Baked Haddock. Came with roasted potatoes and green beans. The haddock had a deliciously crunchy topping on it and the fish itself was super flaky and fresh. Was pretty pricey for mid afternoon lunch but was very good. I have thought that Capri across the street was affiliated somehow but the quality of food is much better at Seaglass than Capri. Beautiful March setting on a windy high tide day after a lot of rain. Gorgeous place to enjoy the most amazing mussel appetizer, surprising, since I don't usually eat chorizo! I wish I took a picture of the app it was delicious it was a feta and olive dip. The chicken was delicious but the salad didn't have much dressing. The waitress was great but the main reason we came in was a drink we saw I the menu on open table but we found out that was an old menu and it wasn't available we then selected something from the drink menu only to find out they didn't have the ingredients for that either. The waitress was super apologetic and spoke to someone else to make sure they would get the online menu updated. We settled on the expresso martini which is a go to for me at other establishments but it was slightly different in color when it arrived I didn't think much of it (I should have) it curdled at the end I've never seen that happen with one before. I went when it was not crowded at midday for lunch and again for dinner where they had live music. Great ambiance, excellent veggies and seafood. I am guessing all food types are good. Had to venture a bit away from home today to get this view for our brunch date. Seaglass is exactly what you expect in this oceanfront town. It is right on the beach with gorgeous views in every direction. The place is pretty large and low-key but nicely decorated. Plenty of bar and table seating but window seating is premium of course. Starters: the blueberry fritters were warm and full of whole blueberries and had a delectable crust on the outside. Just enough served to get the palates woken! Mains: I had the bravocado toast, avocado, poached eggs, pickled artichokes, and jammy onions sat on top of sourdough bread. The only bummer was that the avocado was just sliced and no seasoning on it. The home fries were very well seasons but not crispy as the color would assume but still very good. The crab cakes hardly had any fillers whatsoever, so you got the sweet juicy chunks of crab in each bite. Portions were on par with the cost. Drinks: I had the spritz and a mango sangria both very well balanced and refreshing. Hubs enjoyed his two drinks, ugh I can't remember what they were. Service: Delightful service was provided by Katie (ask for her:)) She was just the right balance of presence and help with letting us enjoy the morning. Katie really loves her job, when asked for an opinion on some options for breakfast she was thoughtful and descriptive which helped me make my choice. BRAVO (hee hee) Katie! Cannot wait to come back. We returned to the SeaGlass to celebrate yet another anniversary. We had booked a table by the beach side windows and when we arrived we asked if we could have a oceanside window seat. The hostess said if we were willing to wait 5-10 minutes, We would be able to have that window seat. So glad we waited because the ocean views are just breathtaking even at night-you can see the waves cresting, then easing up and retreating off the beach. But the food is the star at SeaGlass. We started with a dirty martini and a Pomegranate Rose Resolution . My husband asked for blue cheese olives and he did receive for an additional $2. Our server was cheery and friendly and brought additional olive juice to make the martini a little more dirty. We started with the oyster app which was fresh and icy cold. We followed that by splitting a cup of the soup special which was a Cream of Parsnip with a white truffle drizzle. Very tasty. We then split an app of shrimp, scallop and avocado ceviche. Very fresh and chilled, once we added a touch of salt and pepper and a squeeze of the supplied lime, it was perfect. For entrees, I had the Seafood Cioppono, which has shrimp, fish, clams, mussels and mini potatoes in a fragrant tomato fennel based broth served with grilled sourdough. Perfect on this cold night! My husband had the grilled Marinated Swordfish over Lemon Parmesan Eisotto with capers. He enjoyed his as well! We ended our meal with a flourless chocolate cake and coffee. Let me start by saying this is a beautiful restaurant with outstanding location, very clean, and the staff is attentive. The menu is high-end pricey and the portions could be bigger for the price, but that's to be expected from a seaside place. My recent visits were close together in timing: one for an early dinner date and again 2 weeks later for Sunday brunch (not the buffet) with a long-time female friend who grew up in Salisbury but had never been there. What was consistent in both my visits was luke-warm food upon arrival. How far away is the kitchen? Mussels and crabcake at dinner were stone cold before I got halfway through. I don't like cold mussels, so didn't finish them. Eggs at brunch were very pretty, but also too cold on arrival for my taste. I asked my companions about their food temp and they said "well, it's not COLD", so I declined to complain, hesitant to taint their experience. Very strange considering the food came out quickly. I will give them another try ALONE and this time let them know about the previous disappointments ... maybe it will help. Or maybe try eating at the bar...I don't know. read more

I went here with my girlfriend before seeing the show next-door at blue Ocean and although the menu is not very inspired and creative, the food preparation and the cook on our fish was perfect and that is very skillful and the chef really knows what he's doing. I had a fairly thick coat of salmon with a honey glaze on a corn succotash that was absolutely scrumptious and the cook was perfect on the salmon, which is very hard to do crispy and glazed on the outside perfectly moist inside and not overcooked. Same thing with my girls haddock it was Simple haddock, baked with crumbs, but they did a mustard cream sauce on the bottom that totally elevated it plus they had these delicious potatoes and nice crispy beans. read more

We frequent Seaglass as we live within walking distance and attend a lot of shows at the Blue Ocean venue. Tonight was dinner with brother and his wife before a show, my wife and his wife were sharing the short rib dinner, when are entrees arrived they placed the dishes to three of us and my wife was left with nothing, no dish no splitting of the meal by the kitchen, the waitress did not even think to bring an additional plate, the food was good but the level of service was unacceptable for this standard of dining. read more
