I attended a workshop class my first time going here & it was so fun to hear everyone's experiences and thoughts about each topic :) we also got to enjoy some calming tea which really helped for my anxious bubbly personality. I learned a lot of new stuff for manifesting and about astrology as well! I can't wait to go back to get a tarot reading, to take self empowerment photos in the self love affair photo booth and sit down on the cozy reading spots. Lovely little shop on NE Wygant that sells the most intoxicating soaps, lotions, bath salts, essential oils, sprays and scented candles! What a dream! For the men in your life, they have beard oil. Who knew? The vibe of the shop is very inviting with a spacious, light filled room and clean, organized displays. Everything in white and washed woods. In addition to the soaps and lotions, they have an assortment of crystals, rocks, tarot cards, oracle cards and other energy and magical items. Even a collection of teas. Most people probably don't know about This little block of NE Wygant, right off MLK, that hosts a vintage store, bike rental, workout club and Seagrape Bath & Body. Definitely worth a visit! My Esthetician and miracle lady, Midori, has her Lash boutique a few doors down. After many visits, I decided to stroll through the other shops and I'm so happy I did. I loved everything in, and about, this space! The curation of items, as well as the selection available is amazing. My friend and I spent a long time in there looking at all the books, Tarot decks, smelling all the fragrances, ...etc, and slowly walking through the space. The energy in the shop feels open, light, welcoming, and good. Like I could just breathe a bit easier while I was in there. And everyone working that day was so nice and friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in the items we selected to buy. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. My sister and I came in from out of town for just a few short days and needed to hit up Seagrape. Ronnie + Alder we're our helpful, friendly and thoughtful guides who work in the shop. It smells so amazing inside as everything is crafted in-house. Being a traveling witch, I like to leave land/spirit offerings and they had a perfect little pouch for offerings with tobacco, rose + juniper. Tarot cards, books for all levels of experience, tinctures, jewelry, candles, gifty items and of course, their own branded items. I wish there was a Seagrape in Los Angeles but hey, their website and online community will do for now. If you are a local, I implore you to check them and their workshops/events out! So SeaGrape is a Dreamspace. I came in with my sister this evening and y'all, if you're looking for good vibes and love and magic and beauty, please come here. The smells are truly captivating and everything here from the energy to the offerings are beyond beautiful. I am truly in love. This place holds everything I've honestly always dreamed a space like this would, and I've been to and from different states and cities and still this one takes the Cake Also, I'll have to personally thank the lovely individual - Maria - who slipped a gift into my bag - something I'd just said that if have to come back and get as soon as I can, although I hope this holds space for my gratitude until I am able. I was so captivated by everything I just didn't question or look or think about it... Until I got home and opened it up. I was beyond grateful and excited to find something so unexpected My sister and I will be using it all of 2019 to create Dreamspaces of our own in this material space manifest. So appreciative. Everything from the most beautiful and affirming Tarot decks by wonderful soul artists down to mini travel intention / small altar spell kits. I love all things bath & body and gravitate toward beautiful fresh scents, so I had to stop by Seagrape once I found out about them. I came across Seagrape's citrus-y perfume called Laurus at another Portland boutique but they only had the tester, so I decided to look them up and discovered they had a retail shop as well in NE. There were two friendly women working there, I believe they were the owners, who greeted me and offered help if needed. They were sold out of the Laurus perfume as well, but kindly offered to make it for me on the spot, which I took them up on. They had several other crisp scents using locally sourced essential oils. In addition to perfumes, they carry handmade soaps, bath/massage oils, magic candles for different objectives (fertility, love, luck, etc.), tarot cards, crystals (I also picked up a blue apatite), a seasonal box of bath & body goods for summertime, fun little zines, even a sea sponge for that time of the month. Just from visiting, I could sense they are actively involved with their community and bringing people together. They told me about their upcoming block party the following weekend, as well as awesome-sounding workshops they routinely offer. If you are interested in natural products, the metaphysical, and supporting women-owned businesses, stop by Seagrape. They are located in a cluster of small retail shops (bike, vintage, etc.) just off MLK, and I found street parking around the corner. read more

I went into the Seagrape Apothecary a couple of weeks ago and was very happy I did! When I walked in, I was greeted right away (but not in a pushy way) and asked if I'd like a tour of the store. The staff were attentive in a thoughtful way. After the introductions, I was able to look through the shop and all the goodies peacefully. When I was done shopping and was being checked out, I was helped by someone there that really made an impression on me! Kindness goes a long way and the interaction was filled with an unusual authenticity! Sometimes in this setting you feel like someone is just trying to sell you something, or that they're making small talk just to do so, and that was not my experience. The energy was a beautiful one. Needless to say, I really appreciated the space & interaction. I felt very welcomed and will undoubtedly be back! read more

This place is tiny and awesome. There is a nice selection of crystals and what I assume are a nice selection of other mystical items (I don't know; I was way too busy agonizing over whether or not to get the flourite... and then it was hard to choose between the polished and rough selenite wands... and then I was struggling to decide if I needed some jet. #GeminiProblems). The owner happened to be behind the counter, and she was very kind. My only complaint is that I was charged for a $5 item when it was really a $1 item. This has happened to me at Ed's House of Gems, too. In future, at any crystal/rock shop, I am going to pay tons of attention as I check out. read more

If you're looking for a one of a kind gift Seagrape has so many great things like candles, crystals, beard oil, bars of good smelling soaps, local art prints, ceramics, mugs, little ring dishes, jewelry, bitters, smudging sage, room spray, and the list goes on. I'm currently obsessed with the sweet musk body oil, venus and sun candles, and room spray. I read about Seagrape in the Feb 2019 issue of Portland Monthly and put it on my must do list. I travel to Portland from my home in Seattle for work and I can honestly say I have never seen a shop like Maria's. It is a cozy haven that has something for everyone. Her energy is chill and she is knowledgeable about everything in her shop. She really listens to the customer and is able to put her hand on and recommend what best suits you. She slipped me a gift that I absolutely adore and will be purchasing again once this one runs out. I changed my schedule to accommodate a class her shop was offering the evening after my initial purchase and was not disappointed. I wish she would expand to Seattle! Maria is sweet yet incredibly informative. Her shop feels like home. She has solid background information on all the products. When I am in her shop I feel like I get to take a break from life. Seagrape is witchy magic, a cozy coven of scents and spirits and intention unlike I've experienced in other places. As soon as I stepped into Seagrape from the glorious gray drizzle outside I was enveloped in heart beats of essential oils and a space I can see and sense parts of myself in. There were lovely candles for ritual or other uses, chunks of sweet and aromatic soaps, lovely and delicate necklaces, tarot decks, tinctures. Seagrape is a wonderful and inclusive atmosphere that just folds you into its embrace. I walked away with very thoughtful gifts for my queerly beloveds. I love this place! It's so intricately designed but also very cozy and inviting. I love that they cater to a wide population like those with beards, chapped hands/lips, and even the pregnant belly (just to name a few). I bought the belly oil and a little really goes a long way. I've been buying Seagrape soap and aftershave for several years. I was incredibly excited when it was announced they were going to open a storefront/studio in Portland.
