Seahawk Cocktail Lounge is a local dive bar near Lakewood Mall. I stopped by for the first time with my mom on Mother's Day and I had an overall pleasant experience. The bar was semi lonely and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing at the time of our visit. The service was great as our bartender was friendly. This bar also offers snacks for sale like chips, hotdogs and (complimentary) popcorn. A minor downside is that this bar is *CASH ONLY*. They do however have an ATM inside but I always find the cash only stance to be a bit of a hassle due to fees. Overall, this is a nice local dive bar that I'd possibly revisit in the future. read more

Great local bar with chilled patrons. Everyone is pretty friendly and the have karaoke on most nights. Happy hour all day on Tuesday and some days they bring in bands to play. The bar keeps are friendly and have a good pour. There is plenty of parking which is great on busy nights. Free ATM next door which can be a problem if you know what I mean . I love this place. It's friendly, the bartender is an absolute sweetheart, the KJ is amazing, and they don't over serve and have overly drunk patrons there amd harassing other customers. The bartender is the most friendliest gal I've ever met behind the bar. I loved the selection of beers here too. Tiny but really has everything you need to just hang out with friends. Neat little hole in the wall bar. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars from me is because they don't accept cards. Other than that the bartender was friendly and the drinks were awesome. There's a lot of little touches here and there that make the place unique and I appreciate that. There is an atm for those who don't carry cash but to me it's an inconvenience to keep pulling cash out especially when I dont know how much I'm going to drink. Again, still a great bar. Come for the karaoke, stay for the dive ambiance... The layout of this place really isn't ideal for karaoke, in this reviewer's honest opinion. It's long and narrow, so more like a corridor than an open area for singing - plus you have to maneuver around a pool table to get to and from the bathroom and perform "onstage". Still, it draws a crowd of regulars every Saturday and the drinks are affordable. Oh - and it's cash only. There's an ATM on site, but you're probably best served by bringing your own bills and not paying the fee. read more

I have been coming to the Seahawk since 2000. I have been through 2 ownership changes and multiple bartender changes during my frequent visits to my local establishment. I would have to say that I'm very unhappy with the new ownership And I'm very disappointed that I'm forced to have to deal with new family oriented bartenders that don't have a clue how to pour a drink or run a bar. I've been going to Seahawk Cocktail Lounge for quite a while now to have my Cinnamon Toast Crunch (Fireball, Rumchatta). The owner, Sherry always greets me with a warm hug and smile. Kelly, Judy and Brooke are very personable bartenders. Seahawk has a Touchtunes jukebox for music lovers and a pool table as well. My friend Darlene Mclnerney put her dog "Radar" in a dog show and Sherry (owner) aired the show for a group of us to share the joy of Darlene's dog, "Radar." Know the game you play. When you go to the seahawk understand that it is a dive bar. There will be drunk disgusting yet cool people there. The bathroom will be grimmy, and the drinks will be stiff. A game will be on the tv and the tv will not be fancy. The pool table takes coins not dollars and it will be occupied. The jukebox has EVERYTHING on it, and people will play what they want to hear. A shot will be cheap and a beer will be cheaper. The chances of you getting robbed or stabbed slightly increase, but that doesn't mean its going to happen. The moral of the story is: The Sea Hawk is a dive bar and its one of the best around. read more

After running out of alcohol at our party we moved our party to the Seahawk because it was walking distance from our house. So about 15 of us hoofed it over there to find the nicest lil' dive bar in a shopping center ever. I think the 3 regulars were a bit overwhelmed as well as the one bartender ( although she probably made more tips that night than ever). One regular asked us "Where we all came from?" The beer was cold and cheap. The best deal was the pitcher and they even had Newcastle on tap. The mixed drinks were stiff and decently priced. For those with the drunken munchies they even had a crock pot of what I think was nacho cheese and some chips that you could serve your self. Bathrooms are as good as it gets in a dive bar = toilet paper + locking door. We repeated this moving our parties to the Seahawk a few times more with welcome reception from all the regulars. read more

This is me and my sweet lover man's FAV lil' dirty secret. Lol. Pool is 50 cents a game, and the drinks are cheap and STRONG. After a couple of Henn 'n' Cokes........my pool skills are even more nonexistent than when I'm sober.....But WHO CARES, I'm at the Sea Hawk. We popped in last Friday, it was earlier than we usually stagger in, crowd was kinda thick....but our table (the only one) was open. We started the routine (Sweet lover man has to have 2 shots of tequila and a beer cause I SWEAR he's a friggin pool shark, and me ofcourse with the Henn 'n Coke) and commenced to playin. Between watchin the game on one of the two....or is it three, flat screens, Sweet Lover Man tells me to go give some professional nurse advice to the old guy in shorts sittin at the bar in flip flops....cause his heels were crustier than a 2 week old french loaf. I declined ofcourse cause I had gotten a few drinks in me, and after all, i was off the clock. Lol. Anyway, I tipped the bartender generously (as I always do) and she in return gave me the SUPERB service that is ONLY found in the Sea Hawk. Best lil dive bar/best kept secret in Lakewood. That's my story and I'm stickin to it. If you decide to pop in, and see me and sweet lover man playin a game or two, stop by and say "HI Kisha and Dwayne!!!!"
