Unfortunately never had any discussion about options and what coating would work best for what i want as well as pros/cons of different polyurethanes. A crew showed up, got right to work and left. After a couple days i noticed imperfections in a couple of the rooms so i reached back out to them. They were very quick to respond and sent the crew out the same day, they inspected the floors and ended up doing another coat at no cost. Floors came out great. Unlike a stain, an etch is…read moremuch more difficult to remove and when I called some marble stores for guidance I was told I was pretty much at a loss. By chance I found Roy from Seal Stone Unlimited. He was super knowledgeable about the different types of issues when it comes to marble and knew not only how to safely remove the etch, but also how to protect it from continuing to happen. Unfortunately sealing stone only protects marble from "stains" not "etches" so I needed a better solution. Seal Stone uses a clear film that they apply to the marble and makes it nearly impossible to stain or etch. Roy took a thin layer off the top of my table to remove the etch, brought the shine back up, and applied the protective film. The polish combined with the shine of the protective film honestly makes the table look even more beautiful than it originally did as it was somewhat dull before. The film was not cheap, but considering this is my kitchen table, I needed a solution that would allow me not to worry when anything spilled on the table and this was it. Highly recommend Seal Stone - extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
