We were shocked to hear from this team that our recent service visit to our dealership did not address our car issue, and charged us a huge premium to have other aspects of the car fixed. Don't come here for body work…read more Initial visit: fixed most of the problem (scrape and ding on back passenger door). Noticed some scratches we didn't see before, but they said it wasn't them. Brought the car back to fix a small paint issue. Second visit: car came back with the initial issue fixed, but even more scratches similar to what we noticed after first visit. A razor blade was left in the trunk and a long scratch from the passenger door to the taillight. Oh and the super boost setting was on, which we never use. Third visit to fix the damage they had done: most was addressed, but not all. Now that it's been lighter out (Seattle dark and rainy winter) we noticed that the paint doesn't match the rest of the car. They have a separate location for bodywork, which they didn't tell us upfront until we asked where they were doing it and it's "down the street". It is going to cost us thousands of dollars to fix their workmanship and don't trust taking it there for a fourth time.

I generally do my own work on…read moremy old jeep (95 YJ 4.0) but my wife and I are in the middle of a move and all my shop tools are currently out of state so when my project started a coolant leak I had to let someone else work on it. Mark at F&F did a great job! He traced the leak to the water pump and through the course of repair found both the idler pulleys had a fair amount of putting, this in turn was causing belt wear. Since the jeep is 30 years old, those pulleys are no longer made, Mark was able to smooth them out and hopefully extend their lifespan. He also had to deal with 2 broken bolts on the water pump. Unfortunately, our last two experiences have been very disappointing. Most recently, I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM to have a front-end suspension issue diagnosed. By 2:45 PM, I had still not received any update, so I called to check on the status. The employee I spoke with seemed unsure of what was going on and told me he needed to check on something. He said he would have more information within an hour and would call me back, but I never received a call. Later, when my father called, we were told that the car had received an oil change, even though we had never requested one. However, when I arrived at the shop, I was then told that no oil change had actually been performed. The conflicting information only added to the confusion and made it difficult to have confidence in the service being provided. This follows another disappointing visit where we were given a repair estimate, but when it came time to pay, the bill was hundreds of dollars higher because a brake job had been left out of the original quote. What makes this especially frustrating is that we have trusted this shop for decades. My father has been a customer since the 1970s, and we continued bringing our vehicles there because of that trust. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, conflicting information, and inaccurate estimates during our last two visits have left us very disappointed.
