Our situation was that our granddaughter's car broke down. She then called us, we live in Vegas, to see if we could help. Doug was the first and only group we reached out to. From the start of our interactions, he went above and beyond in helping us. Doug first gave us a referral to a tow service, that we took him up on and got the car towed within hours to his shop for after-hours drop off. The next morning Doug identified the issue, broken axl. Doug gave us a very reasonable bid and fixed the car the same day. The car was repaired and back in the hands of our granddaughter within 24hours of the first phone call, all while we were remote. Took a vehicle in cuz the air conditioner wasn't working. He fixed it saying it just needed a charge. We paid $300 and the next day it didn't work. Brought it back and he said it needed a hose so his original thought of what was wrong, was incorrect. He wants an additional $500 to fix and won't put the $300 we paid originally towards it. How ridiculous. Don't take your car here to be fixed. Take it to Dave's Auto in MLT. read more

I bought a used lawnmower from Legend and didn't have a way to get it to my house (1/2 mile away) so the owner brought it over in his truck at the end of the work day! This was over 2 years ago; when I brought it in for service about a month ago and it needed a part, he remembered that I bought the mower there and only charged me 1/2 price. Got the mower back in just a few days (and he apologized for "taking so long"). What a wonderful neighborhood family-owned business! Will definitely be taking my car there in the future! read more

Over seven years since my last review and still going here. Literally have been going here since 1997. Yes. That long. Doug is still around but Todd's here too. I went to them because there was an issue with my traction control lamp as it was on sometimes for no reason. They did not know what is the problem, and they charged me 100$ for the computer diagnostic report. The report was useless as it did not recommend any solution. I feel like I was ripped off 100$ without fixing my car. read more

I was highly recommended here by a co-worker of mine. This place is great!!! The workers just have a lot of integrity about their work and towards their customers. I had my 2003 Acura TL-S (for Sports car) maintained for the 105k mile service. At the Acura dealership, it was going to come out to around $1,100 (as they would replace everything recommended by the Acura manual and also charge for labor). Legend Automotive was able to tell me exactly what should be replaced while still doing an all around inspection of my car to make sure everything was working fine. They did a fair, honest review. The service came out to under $100! Here's an example of their integrity and value for customers: I was also going to have my 6 Spark plugs replaced as part of the 105k service but Legend Automotive inspected a couple of the plugs and found that they were still in good condition and still had another ~80,000 miles to go (even though replaced about 2 years ago in 2012). I think the Acura dealership would have replaced them but Legend Automotive called me during their review and gave me the option of not having the spark plugs done. I love how they were honest and knowledgeable. I was recommended to this shop and would recommend this shop to whomever else. read more

Wow, this jerk really pissed me off. I called yesterday with a quote from Les Schwab. He told me he would do a break job and clean up my roaters for $225. I took it in just now to drop it off as we are leaving for the weekend. He says, I didn't know you wanted your roaters cleaned up, that brings the price to $440. WHAT! Yes you did. We were specific on the phone yesterday. I will go somewhere else. Funny, the quote from Les Schwab was $468 to replace, not clean, the roaters AND calipers AND do the breaks. read more

I took a Toyota Camry that stalled, they replaced the fuel pump and charged me $370 for the part ( the fuel pump) and $270 for labor. as soon as I drove the car out of the shop, the same problem was still there. took it back and one of them said that it may be something else, so I left it there, and two days later he calls me to say that he doesn't know what's wrong. I took it to toytota dealer and the diagnosis was the crank sensor. and they said that the most expensive fuel pump was $170. so , at the end I paid this thief $642 to replace something that was working and he refuses to admit it. I wish he said "I dont know what's wrong " before changing the fuel pump. don't go there read more

Went there for my brakes and Doug was surprisingly honest about my options. Came back a few weeks later for electronic ignition issue, was ready to spend a good amount of cash when they discovered that it was an easy fix and didn't do any unnecessary work.
