I've been going to Sears all my life. Clothes, tools, appliances,house stuff. You name it. I have bought Die Hard batteries for my vehicles in the pay with out a hiccup. NOT TODAY!!!! I went to get a new battery for my Jeep and they said it would be two (2) hours. No sweat! I was at the PBG Mall so I can kill two hours. Stopped in about two hours later and it hasn't been even started. Even though the products from Sears are good the people at the automotive service desk STINK!! I will NEVER be back to the auto service area again. When I asked the service writer about my car she had a poor flip it attitude and don't show any concern at all. Run away, push your car to another place. No one should ever be treated that poorly. read more

Heed all these reviews. Unfortunately, my company selected this location to service my fleet vehicle. Kind of hard to go wrong when the service is at no charge to me, right? Wrong. No respect for customers' time, but moreso they are just very disrespectful. I have personally spoken to someone who looked me square in the eye and just didn't respond and walked away. They say they will call when your car is ready (just go to the food court - trust me you have time) but they don't. I have probably been here 8 times in the past two years & had 1 good experience with a representative. I have also gone in for an oil change & come back to my car with 4 new tires on it. They advised that they "looked worn" so they called my fleet policy and of course they will approve anything to relieve liability as my safety on the road for work comes 1st, so they rack up the bill. Not my $, but totally taking advantage. Considering many stores closing and going out of business in today's world, it really is surprising that they haven't taken the hint and revamped customer service. "Lounge" is a joke. All employees are either nowhere in sight or staring at their phones with no intent on acknowledging people. Very very poorly run operation. Sears Auto Center - Tires Near Me - Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

I wanted to change two tires. I'm not an american citizen (I'm from germany) so I didn't know about the average american price for this kind of service. I was just trusfull. So I made an appointment and selected my tires ($240 for two tires). My english isn't very good but I just asked for the minimum service (just wanted my tires to be changed). I waited 5h (!) until the man told my that my car was ready, and I had the nice suprise with the bill : $520 (!!!) As I said, I'm new in the US, and I didn't know that it wasn't the average price to pay in this coutry for this kind of service, so I paid. I just learned that the average work coast would have been more like $20 to $40. So I should have to paid something like $260-$280 rather than $520. Sears charged me $240 more for no reason (my car didn't have any problem because it had been inspected 2 weeks before). I'm so disgusted by this company and I can swear that I will never come back to one of those store and I will fight everyday of m1y life to convince people around me to never go back again to Sears. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Two days ago I made an appointment at the Sears Auto Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to replace my battery at 10AM this morning. I arrived at 9:59 and was greeted by a man who seemed very tired and annoyed by my presence. He quickly informed me that I in fact did not have an appointment and that both of his "actual" appointments were already in the shop, but he could take me after them. I asked him to check again because I definitely made an appointment with one of his co-workers, but instead he thought it appropriate to raise his voice and repeat what he had said before. I said ok. He asked me to park my car and come inside so I did. Once inside he helped another customer who had been there before me so I waited while the other employees walked passed me without making eye contact or asking if I needed help. I went back in the waiting area and he was gone. Ten minutes later he returned to help the previous customer and mumbled "I'll be right with you" to me, again no eye contact was made just sheer annoyance. I wound up leaving without ever being helped because I'm not in the habit of giving my business to people who don't want or need it. I've been a loyal Sears Auto customer since the day I got my first car. It saddens me that your employees do not hold customer service to a higher standard. Unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer. I hope you guys can get it together before all of your loyal customers give their business to your competitors. read more

Very disappointed after coming here many years to get our car serviced. The people who used to help us are no longer working here and the ones who are now in charge are either rude or just incompetent when it comes to helping a customer. I made an appointment online to get my car serviced and when I showed up to drop my vehicle the newbies claimed they never received my "appointment". I showed them my confirmation. Needless to say, I had to wait for a few hours to get my oil change done despite having a useless appointment scheduled. Plus these newbies don't even call you to let you know your car is finished. Take your vehicle somewhere else and if there's a Groupon deal, don't even bother! read more

I had 4 new tires installed on my daughter's at this Sears Auto Center (Palm Beach Gardens Mall) last month. When she got home, I saw that two tires had visible bulges (one was the size of a golf ball). When she went back, the auto service manager said, "Miss, that's normal for tires. The weight of the car causes tires to bulge like that!" After argument, he grudgingly replaced those two. This morning, a third tire blew out as she was driving to work. The tires are 4 weeks old, with less than 1,000 miles on them. I called Sears Auto Center and they told me, "Bring the tires back and we can give you a refund for material, but not for the $150 installation. After all, we DID install them." Yes - you installed defective tires and you insist on charging me for the installation! Very disappointing service from a company that used to be highly respected. read more

Words can not express how unsatisfied I was. I went in to have my brakes checked, and dashboard lights fixed. They say a rotor is busted and some things are leaking, and I give them the go ahead to fix it. Later, I get into my car and initially everything seems to be in order. Then, as I'm driving home, my brakes give out again. It was almost as if they never touched a thing. I spent $819 on absolutely nothing. I went to Sears to have my oil changed when I first moved to Palm Beach Gardens because I always had excellent service at the Sears Auto where I moved from. However, I am never going back to this Sears Auto. They have the worst, most inefficient check in system that capitalizes on trying to sell every customer an alignment service -even if that isn't what you came for. I don't feel like they have any respect for their customer's time, so I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had having my vehicle serviced. I showed up 20 minutes or early for my appointment, and still had to wait 2 hours for a simple oil change. Don't be fooled by Groupon deal, they will find way to up charge you with extra quarts of oil. My time is worth more than I saved by buying Groupon. I will never ever ever return to a Sears Auto Center again because of my experience at this store. The sales people were inept, with no sense of urgency, and absolutely clueless. I was about 20 minutes away when I got a flat. Needed a new tire, but my vehicle uses high-end tires that are not easy to find in stock. A few places close to me had nothing in stock. I called Sears at Palm Beach Gardens Mall. Person answers phone, tells me he'll look up the inventory and call me back in 7 minutes. 90 minutes later I hadn't heard anything and I went to the store. Went to service desk inside. 1 employee helping a woman. One other customer on line. the employee can't find what the woman wants so he calls sears.com service and has a 10 minute phone call. Then tells woman he still can't help her. Then customer in front of me gets helped. Employee takes him to the garage, never comes back. Still NO other employees around- all I need is for someone to check inventory on computer for me.After another 10min I take my cell phone and call the store, ask for customer service. they dont' have in-store customer service anymore. I'm transferred to a call center somewhere. The call center actually puts me through to someone who knows what i'm looking for. He's not in the store but knows my tires ares special order and would not be in the store. Now, why couldn't the store employee tell me to call this number when I initially called the store before coming in? I was pretty pissed so I set out to find customer service dept. to lodge a complaint. Guess what- they actually don't have customer service anymore. I did find the manager roaming around. He seem to not know he had only 1 employee in auto. I've used sears auto for years, at other locations. I've never seen a store so poorly staffed.
