10 days later my washing machine is leaking again !!! Flooded my laundry room..... this is not acceptable !!! My husband has called in to report it .... I will never purchase this service again. I was connected with Sears through a home warranty company to fix my oven. The repairman came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered a part, and scheduled a follow up appointment. The repairman never showed for the follow up appointment, and I followed up with Sears and was told that my appointment was rescheduled because the part was not delivered. The reschedule was not communicated with me. I then tried to get ahold of Sears, sat on hold multiple times for 30+ minutes, and tried to contact my repairman directly, and was unable to reach anyone. I escaladed the issue with my home warranty company. I was continuously told that the repair part was "in transit," and every time I called to check on it, they told me a different delivery date. After further escalation with my home warranty company due to the process now being 1.5 months, someone from Sears finally contacted me directly. They informed me that the ordered part was missing and they were ordering a new one. The new one was ordered and I called and scheduled a new appointment for the repairman to come and install it. On the day of my appointment, I went to track the repairman's timing and saw that my appointment had been rescheduled yet again without any communication. I then called customer service and spent 30 minutes on the phone with 3 separate people, none of whom could tell me why my appointment was rescheduled. The overall communication was unacceptable and the timeline from first appointment to installation was two months. Sears was very hard to get ahold of. read more

Tech came out three times. First time he had to order parts, 2 weeks later came and put the new parts on. When we started laundry that night, it said "UB" on the washer and continued to do the same thing he said he fixed. Called them to come back and they said to call the home warranty company to schedule an appointment. Called the home warranty company to schedule for a week later and nobody showed up due to the weather. Received an automated call at 9pm that night saying they would not be out because of the weather. Again, had to call the home warranty company to schedule again another week later. Tech showed up today and said there was nothing wrong he could see and asked my husband to make a video of what it was doing and try reading the instruction manual if it does it again. Over a month later, the washer is still not working correctly. Do not recommend this company. read more

Very nice technician. He is very knowledgeable. Has fixed my appliance a few times. My appliance was still under warranty.

Our refrigerator freezer was operating, but the top compartment was not. We called this company. The first appointment we could get was five days hence (goodbye food). The guy arrived, cleaned the coil, said we'd have to wait 48 hours to find out if it worked, charged us $190 (his credit-card machine wasn't working, so we had to pay by cheque), and advised us we'd have to buy a new fridge. We waited 48 hours. The fridge was still inoperative. We tried to arrange a new appointment, as they promised they would do free of charge. We couldn't reach them. Eventually I went online, and in a few minutes found the problem was likely a small fan in the refrigerator compartment. We'd already told the technician it sounded like a bad fan, but he ignored us. I ordered a replacement fan, put it in, and now the fridge works, no thanks to Sears Home Repair. Save your money, folks. read more

The repairman visiting my home has always been kind, and helpful. However everything else has been a headache with sears. The part for my refrigerator brand is no longer made, so it was sent to the research team to try to find a compatible part. That was fine, but when I received the part I called to notify sears that I had received it. When reviewing the part number with them it did not match what they said it should have been. Instead of making sure I had the correct part, they wanted to send the repairman out anyways. They said they noted the account that I had received the part. The day the repairman was to come out, my service date was rescheduled without talking to me first. Customer service said my account was never noted as having the part received even though i had previously called. They stated they could not contact the repairman to notify them i had the part, and instead could only reschedule my repair date. The biggest headache is you cant talk to a person over the phone, only by chat. They stated i would receive a call back and never did. Today, the repairman came and immediately noted my part to be incorrect- instead of a refrigerator part, i had received a washing machine part. He then said it would have to be sent back to the research team to try to find the correct part. This could have been avoided had customer service sent the correct part after i noted to them that i had the incorrect part number. So far, nothing has been timely or impressive at all with sears. The repairman is great, and i know none of this is his fault. But the customer service could be much better. The repairman said I would receive an email stating all information that was happening now within 20 minutes, i also never received that email. At this point i'm not holding my breath that a part will be found, or the repairman will show up if it is as my experience so far hasn't proved reliability with either. ​ read more

Did the schedule on line, and got a confirmation that the window was from 8am to 5 pm. The window changed several times, now it is to 7:15. I called, and was offered a 20% off, which is a coupon available to anyone using the repair service, it is on their website. So I took all day off work, and am still waiting. They were not accommodating, just very apologetic. I would not recommend this service. It is 6:58pm right now, and am still waiting. read more

Treadmill repair. This was so easy. I scheduled online, using a text me option for when the repairman was on the way to my house. I was given a 2 hr window. He arrived within 15 minutes of the text. He was knowledgeable and courteous. He suggested 2 possible fixes and recommended the best one. I was very pleased with his work. I will definitely use Sears repair again. read more
