He was very rude and told us he did not need an audience and to go upstairs while he was fixing my washer . I do not want him coming back .

When reporting my microwave problem to your virtual service man from Texas. I told him about the "accident" which caused my microwave to stop working. A part was ordered - but the wrong part. It was something about a door latch. What I needed was a fuse. Which delayed my service for another week. Sal, the service man who came both days was wonderful. They had an appointment changed to a much later date. Called warranty go. Git it moved to today. Told them the email said refrigerator instead of freezer. WS told it didn't matter. Today tech called with time. I reminded him it was a freezer. He said it didn't matter as long as the model# was correct. It was. Later he called his co. Then called me back to say he couldn't keep the spot bcz the wrong appliance was listed. I'm disgusted with the incompetence of A&E. Have been down this road with them on warranty work before. I wish I had never contacted Sears to repair my Frigidaire refrigerator. There is no way to talk to a human. My problem was that the "door open" error kept blinking and all the doors were shut. My repairman, Paul, came Jan.22, 2024 to diagnose my problem. He diagnosed this by talking over the phone with someone else. He ordered the part and made next appointment. The next morning, January 23, I found carpet soaked with water in my closet. The wall in my closet butts up to my kitchen/refrigerator on other side of wall. My basement was very wet also. I called my plumber, he came that morning and turned off the water to my whole house. I called my State Farm agent to start a claim for damages. When the plumber came back later to check on water and find where it was coming from, he discovered the connection behind my refrigerator was loose. Plumber tightened it. Sears repair man came back January 30. Fans had been going for a week, 24/7. He saw the damage and the fans. Fans going all over my house to dry kitchen, closet, back hall, laundry and basement. New part didn't work. Sears repairman talked to guy on phone again. He said part might have been a bad one another service man had returned because it had an orange strip on it. He ordered another one. Made appointment for February 9. The part was delivered to my house. He didn't even know that it was at my house. New part didn't work. Repairman talked to guy on phone again. He said I needed a new door for $521.41 and he wasn't sure this would fix the problem. I said enough. I never wanted to see him again. The refrigerator problem is not solved. The damage to my floor, carpet, and cabinets is extensive. Sears repairman should be responsible. Sears should be responsible. Had to wait a month for repairman to come to our home. They cancelled the day of service after waiting 2 weeks. Had to wait 2 more! We pay all that etra money coverage and then noone to come and fix dryet. This also happened before when we needed washer fixed. We are done with Sears. Chris and Clint. I have had the worst experience with a Sears employee trying to get over on women like me. The first issue was that he tried to get me to pay the fee for the diagnostic test on top of the cost for fixing the dryer if I didn't read the fine print I would've been paying the fee and the cost for the dryer. Then he says it's the thermal and it goes out again same issue and he comes back out and tells me he's not fixing it again before checking it and yells at me and leaves. his boss said to come back and fix it and the part he took off was perfectly fine and looks like nothing is wrong with it. I still have it just in case I have another issue the thermal is brand new. People like this shouldn't be employed just imagine if I was old and didn't stand up for myself. I have a brain condition but that won't stop me from speaking up. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone else and I pray my year old Samsung dryer doesn't go out the same way because I don't want to deal with him ever again. read more

Purchased the Master Protection Agreement at a cost of over 800 for 5 years to cover any repairs for refrigerator and stove. No problems until August when refrigerator stopped cooling. Called for service first waited 10 days for an appointment phone rep said based on the description she would have the tech bring a compressor. Tech doesn't bring compressor, has to order it and first available appointment is 2 weeks after that. I confirmed appointment by phone and online then the day of scheduled appointment no one shows. can't contact anyone by phone and the automated system tells me that unbeknownst to me the appointment was changed to 2 weeks later. so still no working refrigerator, 1.5 months later. I would say the protection plan is not at all worth it and is much more of a hassle than protection. would be better off just calling a repair service where you can talk to a person and get a reasonable repair date. read more

Don't waste your money on this "service" Covered side by side refrigerator stopped cooling. Everything on refrigerator side had to be thrown out - curdled milk, brown meat. etc. Took 2 weeks for a tech to get here. Power surge reset a board in it so it started cooling again. Tech said it needed a part - that is NOT AVAILABLE. Tech came back 2 weeks later without warning & said he was taking the part out to send it 'somewhere' - no clue how long it will be 'somewhere' or how long before he could get back to reinstall it. So I would have no refrigerator or freezer for who knows how long. I already lost everything in refrigerator= $200+ and would then lose all the meat in the freezer (no estimate on this food loss). So another call to get my money refunded on the useless warranty I have had for 19 years - they sent another tech. He said NOTHING can be done - no food reimbursement or replacement of refrigerator. I'm to wait until it goes off again & call in to get the tech here. Guess Sears thinks people can afford to keep losing $200+ of food on a regular basis. read more

We had an appointment with Sears Home Services scheduled for today. We received email notifications several times this week to confirm the appointment. My wife took the day off to meet the technician because the time frame given was 8a-5p. We received an email in the morning reminding of the appointment. They didn't show by late afternoon. I contacted them via Chat since they don't provide a phone number. They apologized for running late, and promissed that they would, be here today. 6:30p came and went so I checked back. They told me he would not be coming but they could reschedule for 10 days later. After guaranteeing they would be here (but late) they simply didn't show and never even called, then would only schedule an appointment at a much later date, meaning we have to take another day off from work. Terrible customer service. If I didn't reach back out to them, we would still be waiting for them. read more
