Your service tech showed up unfortunately he couldn't provide the total service because you did not ship the upper door seal for the Samsung refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom. My 2 year old Electrolux dryer has an intermittent drying issue. I would typically be able to dry a load of clothes with the 60 minute option. I would need to restart and after 2 or 3 cycles they would be dry. Tech came September 29. 2025. Told me it was the fault of the lint trap being "too fine, similar to cheese cloth" and was causing the problem. Took his advice to actually wash it in the dishwasher and perhaps order one from Amazon. Tried both options with varied success. Today Sears came again and would not waive the visit charge. He determined that it was probably thermostat failure because he could hear gas igniting but would shut off. Said he could get parts maybe by next week and cost would be $530! So no real answers. I've spent $280 for the 2 visits to my home. Told me if it had been 30 days and not 45 I would not have been charged. First tech should have diagnosed the problem. 2nd tech thinks it's the thermostat. Didn't bother to change his shoes and when he checked outside vent came back in to my house with mud on my newly finished hardwood floors. Total mismanagement when you can't even discuss problems with a real person. Calling the numbers provided are a complete waste of time. A I assisted. Next complaint goes to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Service request for our ice maker still under warranty ,Frigidaire refrigerator. Ice maker not making ice cubes however was still able to dispense water. I received emails and texts stating when to expect the technician. Technician diagnosed the problem and had it working in about 45 minutes. Ice block in the supply line to the ice cube tray. Asked if there is a way to prevent this in the future. He stated maybe a problem Frigidaire needs to address in the design of the ice maker. My concern is this was the second time someone has addressed this problem. We'll see what happens. read more

The only redeeming quality about this service was the Technician, Kevin was phenomenal. The rest was a terrible experience. I had a simple fridge repair. I put in the notes what troubleshooting was done and what part was needed. Of course they don't carry parts because then they'd get less service appointments out of you. So they came the first time just to confirm what I said the problem was and then ordered parts to return and actually repair it. They use AI assistance for appointments, they reschedule without you being consulted, they force techs to show up when you wont be available, they give completely made up timelines, there are no follow ups or accountability, parts delays because they have to order third party so it's cheaper for them. Just a truly terribly service experience. Again, the Tech was great, none of these things were in his control and he was finally able to complete the repairs when an appointment was actually kept. read more

HOWEVER the repair was not completed until March 8. the delays were due to the missing part being repeatedly returned to the warehouse because of FLAWS in the Sears Repair service system. The needed part was finally received by us at home on Sunday March 3. I let Patrick know on Monday (3/4), but the repair was not completed until this morning (3/8) So WE WERE WITHOUT A PROPERLY FUNCTIONING DISCHWASHER FOR OVER A MONTH! UNACCEPTABLE. read more

This service is a scam! I had a plastic screw that broke in my dishwasher. The service tech came told me that part was less than $40 but SEARS will never ch anything less than $300 to come out! Total opposite from what I was told. I was told that service fee was 130 and I will go towards your repair. Nevertheless, I built minus the 120 still came up to over $300. I was never told they did not take cash or American Express until the day of the service. I was not expecting to pay over $400... $120 was still my money that was waived towards this service! I refused bcse of the miscommunication and the dollar amout of the service. This was totally ridiculous. He still charged me for the service and left. I was so disgusted. I complained and they told me that was not right. It literally took three weeks for someone to get back to me via email. Basically there was nothing they can do. this place is like trying to get in contact with the president. They use AI for their phone services! I was treated with so much discard and disrespect! The automated call system is a joke . Just trying to schedule a warranty issue took two weeks for a technician to come look at it. They said they need to order the part and would be another 3 weeks before they could come back. Received an email and text message 4 days later stating the parts are in and I can book an earlier appointment. Did just that and the next day they said there was an issue and need to reschedule again. Two week go by and nobody ever showed up for the service call. It took me 2 hours of trying to get through to someone. Only way I could actually talk to a person was to lie and say I wanted an in home estimate for other work. When I told them I wanted to be transferred to the service department they did without question. After I was transferred they told me they didn't have a technician available and that's why my service call was missed. The customer service rep then said it would be another month before they could get someone to do the service. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none were available. Asked for one to call me back and was told they don't do that . It took me calling the appliance store I purchased my refrigerator at and getting them involved to get an earlier appointment. Finally 5 weeks later my refrigerator is back in working order. Sears customer service is pathetic. I would not recommend them for any service and it's mainly because of their customer service representatives and the difficulty trying to get in contact with them!!! read more

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We called to have our oven looked at because the oven would just keep getting hotter and hotter. The error indicated it was a bad temperature sensor or a bad control panel. The Sear's Technician did not use any tools beside a flashlight. He never used a multimeter to test any of the components. Instead he stuck his hand in the oven and said it will just keep getting hotter til it catches on fire and we need a new one. $106.00 down the drain. We called and complained, they would not give us a refund. Called an independent repair technician who actually pulled the components out and tested them with a multimeter and determined it was the control panel, which he is able to have repaired. Very disappointed. Would not recommend Sears repair if that is the kind of technician they hire. Zero star rating but I had to begrudgingly give 1 star to post this review read more

I used Sears Maid Services on 8/28/15 and do NOT recommend. With out of town guests coming to spend a week at my home I needed one-time assistance with cleaning but I was also in the market for a regular cleaning service. I chose Sears Maids based on a yelp review as well as professional demeanor on the phone. Fran Alini, General Mgr., came to my home to assess the amount of work needed and provide a written estimate. She was very personable and provided a written quote of $240 - based on the advertised rate of$60/hr. In fact she stated to me that, the maximum would be $240 and it will likely be lower." She advised that cleaning would be done by her and another employee, Lauren. She advised that they would arrive between 11:30 and noon the next day and per my request, agreed to call before arriving to assure I was home. It's worth noting that my home is very small (less than1500 square ft) AND there were only a few rooms that I requested their services for: dining room, music room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom, and vacuuming of stairs and hallway. All are very small rooms. On 8/28/15 Fran called @ 9:45 a.m to say they were on their way! I was a bit irritated with the earlier than planned start time since I needed to drop my cats at the kennel. She insisted that they would arrive by 10:00 a.m., so much for customer service! They did a very good job on our hardwood floors (vacuuming and washing) though they just cleaned around area rugs and furniture. One of the primary areas that I wanted cleaned very well was the kitchen, particularly the floor and all of the woodwork. Though they vacuumed the kitchen floor it did not appear that they washed it and they only cleaned the woodwork on upper level kitchen cabinets without even touching the lower level, which typically get dirtier due to spills and pet fur. They did not even touch the woodwork on the kichen island! Also, when Fran came to give the price estimate I asked if they could use a grout cleaning machine for the bathroom floor, since I was advised that this is the best way to clean grout AND because my efforts of scrubbing the grout only brought mediocre results. She agreed to bring the grout machine; however on the actual day of cleaning she just scrubbed it and did not get it any cleaner than it was! Also, I requested cleaning in the bedroom to include vacuuming of the entire room along with baseboard radiators. They vacuumed only a portion of the room, did not vacuum under the bed nor did they do the radiators or lampshades. There was only one extra request that I asked of them on cleaning day, which I had not included when Fran did the estimate, and that request was to vacuum blinds in our family room (2 windows) -- which they did do and which took 15 minutes to complete. Upon completion @ 12:45 it was very evident that they were in a rush to leave to get to their next job. A quick walk through did not give me ample time me to really inspect their work plus I was distracted with conversation -- I'm sure that was purposeful so that I would not look too close at anything! When Fran presented the bill it was for $360! I asked how she arrived at that amount when her quote was for $240 -- she responded that there were 2 cleaners and the rate is $60/hour per person. When she gave me the estimate she NEVER stated that $60 was per person AND she did say that 2 people would be cleaning. When I complained she took $25 off -- big deal! Also, she insulted me by commenting that she did not specify the hourly rate was per person because "...that's common sense." In my mind this is a very shadey way to do business! This was my first experience with a home cleaning service and I am extremely disappointed! I ended up having to do a fair amount of cleaning after they left -- cleaning that I paid Sears Maids to do!
