The first one, the technician is a great person, but Sears services is very poor. I was waiting more of one month to fix my Refrigerator. I got the part already two weeks ago, but every week Sears changed the appointment. When I called and communicated I got the part was like nobody care about it, the virtual assistant never answered about talk with someone, likes supervisor, even now I don't know how I can contact the company for a complaint. I had requested to talk to the manager many times, still waiting for him to call back. every time they come they have to order more parts, technician had said at least 2 0 3 times is no fixable but manager force him to order more parts. They had order at least 20 o 15 parts and still no going any where! will I recommend? NOOOO! Tommy was great! He explained what was wrong with the frig and what my options were. Sears itself sucks!!! After paying large sums of money over 15 years for the maintenance contract on this frig, Sears decided to not inform me that the contract would soon expire, causing the contract to lapse, thereby having no coverage to do repairs today. The tech arrived over 4 months late. our fridge broke & original tech came 2/29/24 & stated we needed 3 parts, he ordered & the $1.49 valve for the compressor (which has a small valve which malfunctioned & broke the compressor) with no contact so my husband has been calling 1-3 x's/week as Sears informed us that the valve is no longer manufactured. we have MPA and NO ONE AT SEARS provided a compatible NOR will they reimburse us the AMT ($1799 +tax +MPA Agreement cost) since FEB 29, 2024. NOW this tech shows up months later with a COPPER valve (no way that is only $1.49) & attempts to twist what occurred. After waiting four months +/- we HAD to buy a fridge FROM LOWE'S. We just want our compensation, monetary, of approx. $2,287.98; the original cost $1,799.99 + 1/3 of the portion of the MPA Agreement $379.99 + sales tax (6%) $108.00 total $2,287.98. read more

the microwave is not back together correctly it's leaning forward and the metal wrap that goes around the unit is bent and not sitting correctl. He had trouble getting the unit back together it looks disgusting. The plastic that you see on top of microwave when you open the door is not sitting correctly nor does it snap into the groves of the meta. He also stripped the screw holding up the microwave. We are very unhappy with the quality of your service on this item. Also the element for the stove he installed it by cutting the connection coming from the back harness where the element plugged in. Pulled the wires into the back of the unit saying that there isn't a replacement part for that. read more

I called several times the week of November 11 hoping that my non working furnace would be escalated to emergency status. Due to it being 52 - 60 degrees Inside The House. I had hoped to get an appt for Saturday, Nov 16. I spoke to several representatives and I continue to get the runaround. Today, November 16, I was told that the parts that are required to complete the job are STILL ON ORDER. STILL ON ORDER!!! This is not an issue with a refrigerator nor oven. It is my furnace that has a full warranty. Please note it has been over a month and the temperatures are dropping. And yes, I called the customer service number. Same results different number. I was told several times that they are sorry for the inconvenience but I have to wait for my November 23 appt. If the issue is not resolved, I will return to write another review. read more

Well it's fixed courtesy of an extended warranty program through PC Richard but I can't say that I'm thrilled that I've been without a oven January 4th through January 23rd. I've had extended warranties through a variety of other stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy) and they've always come through quickly. Yay it's fixed boo it took so long. First and foremost at least the Dryer was repaired. - I was not given an opportunity to review the invoice, I was told I could review it when I received the email. Unfortunately, I could only get the email after payment was processed using my credit card that was on file. - The technician was here for 1 hour and 20 minutes for which I was charged 289 dollars for labor (pretty expensive to change a 65 dollar part) - I was also charged 80 dollars for cleaning and maintenance, which I did not request - Even though I repeatedly declined the monthly insurance service, I received 6 emails stating that I was signed up for the monthly fee. (I did not dare click on the email link for fear I would be charged the monthly fee.) - The Technicians strong arm tactics were not appreciated, let alone the overcharge for changing a 65 dollar part. read more

First of all, if I could, I would award no stars to Sears Appliance Repair. The back story is that our Kenmore freezer needed a new door gasket. I contacted Sears to arrange a repair person to install the needed door gasket. Sears contacted A&E Factory Service which sent a repair person to our house. The service person stated that he didn't have the part and would have to order the same at a cost of $540.00 which I thought was out of the question. He then informed me for $300.00 he could install the needed gasket, but I would have to pay cash upfront which I stupidly did. Now after two weeks of waiting I have given up. It seems that the service repair person works for Turner's Family Heating and Cooling Service, which to my dismay, has a terrible work record. Researching the situation even more, I found that Sears Appliance Repair, A&E Factory Service, and Turner's Family Heating and Cooling all have terrible reviews. I just enrolled myself on the sears appliance plan and it has been the worst experience ever. i had a tech who came to fix my oven that has not been heating. While he is doing his diagnosis I asked did he see what the issue was and his response was yes you have two fragile wires. I said that was so dangerous since my oven is a gas oven. he proceeded to continue his work and I see him taking the fragile wire and instead of replacing them which is the correct thing he started wrapping the wire with tape. I asked that was not acceptable and those wires needed to be replaced he said no and proceeded to tape and said this is what I was told to do with an arrogant attitude. WHAT ?????? at the end, I refused to sign and accept the ridiculous charge of over 200 dollars ????? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL AND INSULTING QUALITY WORK DONT USE SEARS!!! read more
