If I could make a rating of negative 5 I would. We have had to go without our dishwasher since March 25. Everytime we need to schedule an appt with Sears, it takes approx a month. They came out and claimed they fixed the issue. This was not the case. So we had a follow up visit which was again about a month away. That appt was canceled by the tech without our approval and then pushed out another month which is today. May 22. And this tech demands that we pay another $100 deductible and will not wait until we get the problem corrected with the home warranty company. So he just left. We are still without a dishwasher and likely now they wont be back until mid to late June and thats unacceptable. read more

Do not call this appliance repair service. Not only did he not repair my dishwasher, he damaged my floor with his filthy boots and left water running from the dishwasher he did not repair. And for this luxury I was made to pay $115. They don't fix anything only charge to analyze the problem. Then want a huge fee to come back with the part "they think you need". Total would have been more than the cost of my 4 year old appliance with no guarantee it would be fixed. read more

The technician is good but Sears needs to have more availability. Sears only send their technician to my area on Tuesday and Thursday. From point of problem start to resolved, the quickest still takes 2 to 3 weeks. If not due to my home warranty, I would have not selected Sears. read more

We have had a Sears Home warranty service for 11 months. When we first got it they sent an air conditioner service person to inspect and service the central air conditioner. When we recently 4 weeks ago called we were told this air conditioner unit was not part of the covered warranty. However they could send a repair person out at a fee. We agreed and they said it would take 3 weeks and that was in June and earliest appointment would be July 21st. Times between 8am-5pm. Day before we got a message on phone stating your repair is due to arrive between 8am-5pm tomorrow. On that date no one arrived or called to let us know what happened. Calls to them went to the blame game and transfers to 3 different depts before being cut off. Calls back stated leave a number and we will call you back when your turn comes up. It has been 3 days and my turn has yet to come up,When I called they still had the date the repair was to take place on the 21st days after the date. Arnold V. read more

Worst service ever. Tech came and tightened tension on garage door. 2 hours later the spring broke. Told no one could come back for 7 days. Mom is disabled and we have a lift in the garage and this is the only way to get her out of the house and now we could not even manually lift the door. Very dangerous. Called Sears and got the Phillipines EVERY time we called. All they could do is say to call 911 if we had a problem. Cost us $150 for NOTHING! Very disappointed! I have had a Maintenance Protection Agreement for many years however when my Kenmore Washer was filled with water and wet clothing and would not drain, they told me it would take 13 days to get someone out to look at it. Finally after 6 days and many phone calls, including to Corporate, someone came out and replaced the drain pump. It drained and I had to throw the clothing out! The next day the machine made an extremely loud grinding noise when draining. Called again and was told I would have to wait almost 3 weeks to get someone out!! When the same tech came back he found the bearings were gone and needed replacement. He said he never checked them when he was here before. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in!!! NO ONE seemed to care that I had a washer filled with water and wet clothing. The only reason I did not call someone else was the fact that I had paid over $500.00 for this Maintenance Agreement!! This is the 4th repair I have had on my refrigerator through Sears Master Plan, It has been nothing but a scam. They do not do what they claim with the master plan which is replace your refrigerator with a comparable one after the 4th repair. What happens is the repair person must say the product is not repairable which they will not say. Also my hardwood floors and carpet and sub flooring have been damaged due to the refrigerator leaking from the icemaker they will not do anything about this either. The last repair man was ruder than rude. I am 78 and he didn't even bother to push my refrigerator back into place after working on it. He took pictures of my floors just to cover his liability to be able to say this did not happen after his repair however the last repair was just May 3rd and the damage occured after the that repair. Sears made me wait days for a repair man even though I told them my refrigerator was leaking as a result of a repair in the same month!!!! read more
