Someone there should have told me that your company could not get parts for this refrigerator because company that makes them is shut down. So I paid money for service call for nothing. There should have been someone to let me know that was the situation and I would have not had someone come out and had to pay them for nothing. The biggest issue is that you cannot reach anyone by phone to call and schedule service. Then when they finally do arrive they are unprepared and do not have the equipment or parts. They will reschedule with you but is not reliable and finally when the job is done I am not able to receive the warranty and paperwork that they promised. Try calling them and it is all AI responses and when you ask for an in house person to speak to it responds, "We are all AI generated and no In house personnel are on site". SCAMMERS!!!! AI customer service only, serviceman only cared about selling their home warranty. Overcharged for a easy repair and said he could bring the price down if I paid for the home warranty. Dishwasher is still broken, now they won't come back out. Will only set up a "video call" and not come back out. AI said I had to agree to be charged more if they determined it was something different, when it was THEIR technician who diagnosed the original issue! I do not trust using their video call link since I am only dealing with AI. All of it is very scammy, unprofessional, and maddening. Out over $300. Run away! I was needing my Maytag washer repaired. having used Sears Home Services in the past, I felt they would be my choice on getting it repaired. Boy, did I make a mistake. The technician showed up as scheduled, no tools, nothing. He looked at the washer, turned it on and off, then gave my wife, an estimate of $850+. No thanks, he collected his $179 service call fee and left. When I was sent the invoice and estimate, I noticed that the parts listed was any part that could be the part causing the cycling issue. My opinion is that all the technician was interested in, was collecting the service call fee. The repair estimate was several hundred dollars over the cost of a new and better Maytag washer. Sears has made the decision to not employee actually human beings for their customer service. It actually states that their customer service is 100% AI now. The initially came to my house, took a look at my washer and had to order parts. Another appointment was scheduled for the repair to be completed after the parts arrived. The parts have been sitting at my home for more than a month now. The service tech tech never arrived on the scheduled day. This have been rescheduled 5 times since then and each time the tech does not arrive. The AI states that only 3 of 4 parts have arrived but all 4 parts were received at the same time. Apparently AI is not understanding this so my appointment keeps getting rescheduled to no end. SEARS is not what it used to be. STAY FAR AWAY!! read more

AC not working for downstairs. Service Requested: kept getting canceled & rescheduled but eventually came out. thank God it was cool during our wait. Quality: Mr. Timothy was very nice. However, the quality of the work he & his team did was very poor. When he came out of my attic there was a gapping fume smell. I figure maybe it was glue or a chemical from the new unit being placed in. I noticed he didn't mention it, so I assumed to just open all my windows upstairs & down for an hour after he left but the smell began to affect me. I started getting dizzy & feeling sick. So, My husband calls him, he said I should have mentioned while he was there because he couldn't smell anything & that we have to call to schedule another appointment. Value: He also charged us for cleanup but I have pictures of the debris & trash he left behind. Also I while in the attic I noticed there was a Crack between unit & siding, which looked also like it might be a door so I gently went to touch it & the whole side fell off !!!! Lastly, there looks like there a leak now in the upstairs ceiling. ‍ Now I have a new unit I can't use, with more of a mess that I have to clean up, that I was charged for! And I pray I was not harmed for breathing in those chemicals!!!! read more

We had two appointments scheduled over one month's time from this company A&E Appliance which subs from Sears to repair our washer. First time they said we weren't in the system. Second time was yesterday May 8th. Tech was Dquarius B. He called in the morning to say we were his 6th stop so it would be later in the day. He was trying to get out of the appointment by diagnosing the problem over the phone. I called A&E and was told he was definitely coming. Later in the day, I get a phone call from Dquarius that he tried calling and no answer so he didn't arrive. There are no calls on my call log nor voicemails he states he left on my phone. He easily could have texted me as he received my text in the morning. This company represents Sears and is the worst appliance repair company ever. Dquarius is a total scammer. I was charged a week in advance for the part and the labor to repair my washing machine. Then he came to my house to fix it today and spent a little over an hour working on it and assured me it was working before he left. I tried to wash a load of laundry right after he left and the machine did the same thing it did before he "repaired" it. it still won't fill with water.
