We had a good experience the first time years ago but it was more like a nightmare this past May of 2026. They came for a simple task. Dryer turns on but it doesn't work. They said they need to order part, part takes two weeks they put part takes off with check and leaves without letting us know. Later I put a load to dry and discovered the top panel is loose and the screws are still on the floor. We put a stop payment in the bank and threatened to go to the BBB. They come back and said I don't want Uno in my house again. Manager comes with Uno and said he needs Uno. So we let them work on dryer. again they had to order a part and waited by now I have a lot of dirty clothes that need washing and drying. Supervisor came with new part and Uno worked For a long time and dryer was finally working but the digital lights on my upright beautiful Maytage dryer were not lighting the entire numbers. I told them why since they were working before. He just said something stupid and told me that's something else. I didn't like that! Besides their lousy performance on this job they had attitude with me. NOW this is very interesting: Uno wanted me to show him the receipt from the first time he came and dryer worked for a while. I gave it to my husband to show it to Uno, Uno got it and my husband came back into the house. Dryer is in the garage. After a while Uno comes back in the house and asks me for the receipt and I told him my husband just gave it to yo. He said yes but he took it back. Then I asked my husband where is it? My husband couldn't remember. I told Uno MY HUSBAND IS SICK WITH CANCER AND HE JUST GAVE YOU THAT RECEIP. MY HUSBAND COULD NOT REMEMBER IF UNO GAVE HIM BACK THE RECEIPT. UP TO THIS DAY WE DONT KNOW WHAT UNO DID TO THAT RECEIP. BUT IT BOTHERS me that Uno started this trick about the receipt we had paid for and what was he trying to pull?? We waisted around $600 dollars letting these fool and unprofessional guys come into my house to do a lousy job and to make things worse what these guys did when they left was that after they asked to use our latter when they put it back (we didn't see how) they hit the device where garage door opener eye is to close and open. They didn't bother to tell us. But it took us nearly 2 hours trying to find out why the garage door would not open!!!! Someone else had to come to fix it. This was the worst experience we had with All American Appliances and Uno and his manager. NEVER AGAIN. WE ARE SENIORS AND MY HUSBAND IS SICK. Run from this company. It's only a man named Frank Puente who is 37, his son who is like 21, and his wife the receptionist. Look at the reviews on yelp that can't get removed. He verbally assaulted me in my home when questioning his sketching work. His website says 40 yrs. experience. I don't know how a 37 yr. old man and his 21 yr. old son have 40 yrs experience. I'm pretty sure the guy was on drugs! I can't figure out a different reason for the whole situation. My refrigerator is more broke now than when he started, I mean like way worse. I could go on and on about the whole situation,but its exhausting. Read the reviews before you call!! I'm sure his good reviews were simple in and out things. Dishwasher problem was misdiagnosed (by Uno, who specifically said that he "knew" the only thing that could be wrong if arm wasn't turning, was that the motor was bad). Cost me $459.00 to get diagnosis and new motor (which was working and water was flowing) but arm wasn't moving. About 4/5 trips back to my house. Part that was needed was less than $10.00. Frank (owner) started arguing with us because he was frustrated (as were we) with all the going back and forth; for 2 months I might add. He never apologized. Didn't charge for the $10.00 part but we were really over charged $370.00. read more

Tech gave original diagnosis of 'nothing is wrong with your washer, and after calling Whirlpool and his company gave the same diagnosis, but left an estimate to replace the water valve if we did anything at all, but could not say that was the issue. Prior to his visit we only had issue with the Bulky/Sheets Deep Water cycle running a complete spin cycle. Now, none of the cycles work at all! The 'owner', who would not disclose his name nor would the receptionist Nancy, called me a liar and hung up on me. Big thumbs down for this Company! Moving on! read more

Schedule an appointment with Frank from 8 to 10 didn't show up until after noon. it took all of 5 mins to tell me he has to order a part to fix the refrigerator, it will take two week, He said. A Week and half later no word, no follow up, nothing. I message Frank for an update, was told that "the part is on back order and he tried to call that day he left my house but no response." Left confused, so I asked questions like.."who did you tried to call..it's been two weeks and only one attempt at contact" "..what now?" " was the part even ordered?" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!! On 9/6/2023, I contacted All American Appliance because I needed an over-the-stove microwave installed. The gentleman, Alex, came and installed the microwave, which seemed to work appropriately. However, on the same day as he installed it, it became apparent that the microwave was obviously not installed correctly. I called another company who came out and stated the microwave had not been installed correctly at all. The new company was very detailed and demonstrated how the gentleman from All American Appliance placed the microwave incorrectly. The main issue was the microwave was installed in a manner that did not allow for proper ventilation which could very well cause a fire. I called All American Appliance to inform them of the mistake made on the company's behalf. I then requested a refund. The gentleman I spoke with reported that he was the owner and the person who made the call to my home was his son. He went on to say they were a small family-owned company. He admitted his son, Alex, was not very experienced. He never denied the mistake had been made. The owner became irate and raised his voice. He was very upset that I did not call his company with the complaint prior to hiring another company to correct their mistake. I let the owner of All American Appliance know that I did not contact them prior to employing another company to come out because I no longer trusted his company to do the job right. He did not accept my response and stated he was unwilling to provide a refund for the work because I did not allow him to correct the problem. I let him know there was no obligation on my part to allow him to correct an issue his employee/son caused. The owner stood fast in his refusal to refund the money which represents fraud due to the fact that he knowingly sent someone to my home without the appropriate experience and abilities to complete a job correctly. Reliance is an element of fraud. To prevail on a fraud claim, a plaintiff (me) must show actual and justifiable reliance. That is, in order to establish this element, the plaintiff (me) must show that it actually relied on the defendant's (All American Appliance) representation and, also, that such reliance was justifiable. The fact that All American Appliance sent the gentleman out to effectively install the microwave is certainly justifiable reliance. The bottom line is, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!! For you could surely live to regret it. PS. As a side note, I felt very intimidated by the gentleman, Alex, who came out. Returned to install ice maker but did not have all parts. Never returned to install, and initial repair failed after 10 days. Owner did not stand by his company's work when called. Exceptional service all around. They responded the same day I called. Great job in servicing our GE Side by Side refrigerator. The technician Frank was outstanding. He found the issue and ran out and got the part, then came back the same day to complete the installation. Frank even picked up an appliance surge protector for $7 at Lowes. On 9-20-19 Frank P. from All American Appliance installed a new ice maker on our GE Refrigerator I paid him $245.00 by check and he wrote in the "service performed" block of the invoice "Installed I/M on GE refrigerator 1 year parts warranty and labor". Frank was very cordial and courteous and I was impressed with his demeanor. In March/April 2020 the ice maker stopped functioning off and on so in early May I contacted All American Appliance and advised I needed someone to come by and check the ice maker since it was still under warranty. Frank P. came by on 5-11-20 to check it and found the ice bucket full (it had been working the past few days). I advised Frank it worked sometimes and would stop working for no apparent reason, but if I 'wiggled' the turn off lever it would sometimes start working again. He advised I should just turn the ice maker off when the bucket was full and when it got low to turn it back on. I told him that is not satisfactory and should not be necessary. He said just leave it on all the time then and if it stops again call him and he would return. He seemed like a complete different person from his initial visit on 9-20-19; he was rude, discourteous and almost condescending, but I thought perhaps he was just having a bad day, so I blew it off. The following week it did the same thing so I called him again and he came back on 5-20-20 and glanced at the ice maker and said the heater was not working and he would replace it under the warranty, but the labor cost would be $85.00. I advised Frank that he had written on the receipt/invoice of 9-20-19 that there was "1 year parts warranty and labor". He became very belligerent and aggressive, stating he would have never written such; I told him that he did and I could show it to him. He then stated words to the effect "you're not getting this free" and stormed out of the house. His conduct and attitude frightened my wife and she was ready to call the police. I am an 88 year old disabled veteran who served in Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm and I will not give countenance to such rudeness and disrespect. I have attempted to report Frank's misconduct to the Owner/Manager of All American Appliance, but they will not answer or return my calls, so this review will be placed on numerous websites and hopefully be of use to future prospective customers who are researching appliance repair companies in San Antonio. If you use the "Google Search Engine" you will find numerous other UNSATISFACTORY reviews concerning Frank P. of this company. My Kenmore Dishwasher stopped running, was leaking water and the controls froze on Friday morning. I called all american appliance hoping to get a technician out on Monday. Great work and wonderful customer service. I called All American Appliance on a friend's recommendation. I appreciate how quickly the service was scheduled and how flexible they were. Frank was on time and cleaned out our dryer vent (which goes up and out through the roof). It made a huge difference in the time it takes to dry now. Towels dry in about 30 minutes. Frank was professional and worked quickly. He even replaced the vent hose with a shorter one for better efficiency. He had to climb over our dryer because it is in a closet. I called several places and a major know dealer in a panic my refrigerator had gone out after I had made a trip to the grocery store on Wednesday. I could not get any one to come out till Friday. I called All American Appliance. The man answering the phone was very polite and informative. He told me the service fee and all the info. He called the technician to find his location and estimated arrival time. The technician gave me a courtesy call on his way out. Frank was my technician he was very polite, respectful, and very knowledgeable of his job . He called passed the cut off time to order a part.Things happen unexpectedly that's we have no control over.
