Our confection oven was taking a long time to pre-heat and we could smell gas as it was pre-heating. Turned off the gas and searched for an appliance repair that might be open on a Sunday over Labor Day weekend. Saw a highly rated business called ' Around the Clock Appliance Repair'. I highly recommend this business!!! A gentleman named Kosh arrived promptly and ran tests. Kosh is very knowledgeable, personable, kind and explained what he was testing and why. While it could have been a more expensive control board repair, he tested the igniter first, replaced it and the oven works great, with a lower repair cost than a control board. My first appointment was on Monday, April 9, for my dryer not heating. The service guy(Patel) came out from "Around The Clock Appliance Repair". Patel opened up the dryer to trouble shoot and found two problems. 1. The heater core was okay but the fuse had blown. 2. The wheels that spins the drum needed to be replaced. Patel then quoted me a price of $290 to repair both problems. After, the repair he then explained that he needed to clean the exit vent. After finding out that the exit vent was on my roof, he suggested another company for the cleaning portion. He also stated that the part would not be covered under warranty, if I used the dryer before the vent cleaning date. I called the company Patel recommended "Dryer Wizard" the same day. Dryer Wizard wouldn't be able to come out until Friday, April 17. Long story short they came out to cleaned the exit vent and charged me $248.98. After the Dryer Wizard left, I began washing and drying my first load of clothes. During the drying, I noticed that the dryer was not drying. I called Patel once again from "Around The Clock Appliance Repair". I told him, I was using the dryer for the first time and it is not drying. On Saturday, April 18, Patel replaced the fuse again and charged me another $115. I didn't argue; I paid and will never use this company again. read more

We made a huge mistake going with this company, and DO NOT recommend! These guys are incompetent and untrustworthy technicians that have a history of telling people that their fridge is working perfectly fine when it is in fact not working correctly. My fridge was not keeping proper temperatures and after having Adam come out to replace two thermistors (I had to show the technician that there were two that needed to be replaced as he stated multiple times that there was just one needed), and the evaporator fan, the problem persisted the next day with temperatures consistently in the danger zone up to 45-46 degrees and now my ice maker was not producing ice which it previously was. I called them back the next morning to have them come back out to check on things to investigate the issue further and this is where things really took a turn for the worse. Kosh came into the house with a bad attitude from the beginning and after opening the fridge door and placing his hand on a glass jar in the fridge, he immediately said, "your fridge works great, there isn't anything wrong here." He also said multiple times, "my fridge isn't as cold as yours..." as if this is supposed to make me feel better about the actual measurements being taken by my ambient temperature probes to which he denies have any value or accuracy as his hand is a better testament to the safe temperatures. Kosh was as rude and condescending as could be and it shocked me how inconsiderate he was to our concern as a small business owner. I gave him multiple opportunities to investigate our issue further but he refused each and every time stating... "I can't investigate a problem that doesn't exist." I asked him if there was anything truly diagnostic he could look at or check to which he simply declined. I then mentioned why our ice maker was no longer making ice to which he looked and said that the previous technician did not plug it in... pretty sloppy for a professional. We ultimately left at an impasse and disagreement and he said he would refund the "service fee" for coming out if I could find another refrigerator technician that could state that there is in fact a problem and diagnose the issue. Well surprise surprise, I was able to get another amazing company to come out after hours on the same day as this whole debacle and within just a couple of minutes of me explaining the entire situation and what was replaced, he concluded quite quickly that YES the temperatures are too high and that it was the damper that was the culprit for the fridge not cooling, and the freezer maintaining good consistent temperatures. After opening up the damper assembly he could tell that the other company didn't even check if the damper was operating properly based on the original tape having not been taken off. To test the theory he manually propped open the damper and we were getting lots of cold air very soon after. We will be having the damper assembly replaced now. This company wants the credit and money for doing the work, but is not capable of providing the level of customer service or technical acumen to properly diagnose and fix an issue or even admit that there is an issue to begin with. Pure laziness and disrespect! I told Kosh, the business owner that I wanted to make sure that he knew that I would be writing a fair and accurate account of our experience with his company on Yelp and Google to which he told me, "I don't really care." Called this company when my tenant said her refrigerator was broken. They came out the next day. When the tenant didn't answer the door immediately (works from home), they sent me a nasty text threatening to change me for the service call anyway. Fortunately, the tenant answered before they drove off. When I did get in touch with the repairman, he demanded payment BEFORE telling me what was wrong. I complied, and he explained there was nothing wrong that he could find but he speculated that it could be a problem with the "control board". I asked how much to replace it, he said approximately $200. Then said "no warranty because he wasn't sure if that was the problem! Then said it could be months before he could replace it because the boards are on "back order". Sounds like a scam to me. I'm glad they only for me for less than $90! read more

Could not give me an eta. And in the end he was not able to fix my issue. I scheduled an appointment with Koch on Wednesday 8/18/21 for today Thursday 8/19/21 between 12:30-1:30 when no one showed up I called and spoke with Koch he stated he did not have me on the schedule at anytime at all not even a future appointment. I told him we scheduled it just the day before and I wrote the time down and who I spoke with which was him Koch and he responded condescending with "well, I said my name when I answered so that's probably how you got my name." I took time off of work for this appointment he didn't even apologize he just treated me like I called and made up an appointment date and time. I had the worst experience with the appliance repair company, Around the Clock Appliance Repair. Guy came out yesterday, didn't fix my washer. I paid $65 for him to tell me the problem is "gunk-buildup." He said I need to pour a gallon of vinegar into my washer, let it sit overnight, then do a load this morning, "to see if it works." It didn't work. So when I called them back today, the owner was an asshole. He said fixing my washer is too time and labor intensive, will cost me $500, and it's better to buy a new one! I told him it's only 3 years old. Yesterday I asked what the lifetime of a washer is, he said 10-12 years. read more
