The technician and his trainee Sonny were very professional and helpful. checked and found 2 error codes, rebalanced, and reminded me on what setting and items are best for bedding of bedspread and bedsheets. I'm glad that the A and E technicians are still available when needed. read more

Guy came to fix the ice maker in my L G side by side refrigerator. Came in did a temperature check inside refrigerator and said you need a new ice maker price over $600 . Told him I couldn't afford that right now. Remember he checked nothing! I paid the $129 service fee then he left. Told my son what happened. He goggle it and guess what, with a some adjustments suggested the ice maker started working! What a joke, I will never use Sears Repair again ! I am retired and can't afford to waste money. Came to replace igniters on Kenmore gas stove and repair the Samsung fridge. He failed with the igniters and refused to work on fridge. $500 in advance wasted. Now I'll pay someone else to come do it right. Their AI scheduling is impossible and humans aren't part of the solution. Overall just another rip off business doing slip shod work. Our experience was ok. Our first technician seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He completely took our washer apart and then tried to diagnose it. He then put it back together and said they'd have to come back a different day, even though we had already diagnosed it previous to his arrival and we let the warranty know what was wrong on the initial call. Our second technician Bob was amazing, he fixed our washer in a very timely manner and gave us some advice to keep it going for many more years! I would request Bob next time should anything go wrong again! read more

I would give them a -10 if I could. They have been to my home 9 times. When they got finished fixing my ice maker in the side by side refrigerator/ freezer I had nothing. No freezer and no refridgerator. They came to fix my icemaker as it was not dispensing ice. They ordered 2 different icemakers and when the finished the freezer would not get below 30 degrees. Not safe for food. So then they ordered a fan. Replaced the fan, but broke two other pieces. Now no ice or freezer. Replaced those two pieces and broke two more. While fixing them I heard a hissing sound. Broke something else and then I had no freezer or refridgerator. It started in October and it is now December and I have American Home Shield Insurance who tell me there is nothing they can do because the technition has not told them it was either to expensive to repair or not repairable. The tech who has been doing the work here told me he could not take out the instrument panel because they would need to contact American Home Shied for approval and his boss did not want him to do that. Now they have ordered a new compressor and two other parts to fix it. They will be coming tomorrow and we will see what happens from there.IF you get a chance read the review from Connie J. Had a tech replace a single part on my dishwasher, was at my house for 15 - 20 minutes. Didn't do a test run and left. Later that night when running my dishwasher I noticed my rug was wet. Turns out my dishwasher was leaking. So the tech caused this problem and didn't even bother to check his work before leaving. Now when contacting customer support, they best they can do is send a tech out in two weeks. To fix a problem they caused. read more

I had to wait over 2 weeks for the repair and then the day of my scheduled repair, at noon I got an automated call that I had to reschedule. never talked to anyone explaining why. They were able to come the next day, which was good. The repair man left an absolute mess in my kitchen. Water and debris, the old parts, moved my refrigerator and didn't move it back. read more

I have now had Sears A&E home repair services in my home 4 times since Jan, 2022 to repair my 3.5 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator. The repair has included replacing the compressor and the dryer. The repair has rendered my refrigerator and freezer non-operable. Not only were the compressor and dryer replaced but the techs kinked the copper tubing, then when repairing that, when soldering the tubes, solder got into the lines and blocked the flow of refrigerant. I have lost a lot of food and insulin as a result. I am in the process of trying to find a replacement refrigerator. Sears has completely failed in backing their product. read more

Waiting 2 months to have our washing machine makes it difficult to even give one star but it would not let me post with none. We have been down 4 times in 14 months and we were without a machine for more than 3 months during that time. Usually 2 weeks to get there and each time they have to order parts and come back in 2 weeks to install. No compensation for downtime and no lemon law because only 3 service calls in 12 months because downtime is not factored in. Service guys are nice but none in our area. Only gave it one star because negatives were not an option. Had repair work done in my home over 2 months ago and had a part shipped by then to facilitate the repair. The part was damaged in shipping and the tech took it with him and promised a immediate refund which I am still fighting for. When you call the national number they are incredibly rude, waste a TON of your time ( I think in efforts to get you to give up all while stealing your money), they hang up on you, act like they can't hear you when their automated system has no problems processing full sentences. These people are liars, frauds, thieves, and the most unethical people I have ever come in contact with. Beware of using their services. At this point I would have paid triple to not have to deal with them. Go anywhere else as this option is guaranteed to bite you hard. read more
