Do I know why they sell cute LIVE potted cactus with neon plastic flowers glued onto them? Nope, CAN'T say that I do - But I CAN say that their seasonal selection is second to none, they have insane sales and incredible value for your hard earned dollar. Down side, hate to be a Debbie downer but it goes from one of two extremes every time you vist: 1. You are stuck aimlessly wondering about looking about the aisles for sales associate's to help you that are harder to track down than BigFoot (Seriously, where are they hiding, in the fridges in the appliance section? Cause that's about the ONLY place I HAVEN'T looked yet)... OR 2. You can't go two steps without being asked if you need help (sometimes several times by the same person even when you've assured them that you're alright) or end up getting followed everywhere by an associate failing horribly at looking inconspicuous, which can be a bit unsettling and creepy. Just a thought, be aware and attentive and try for a happy medium in offering customers assistance ? Just a thought...

Recently, my cellphone died and I had to buy a new one. The owner went over the best plan for me and her employee spent literally two hours making sure that all of my data, music, contacts, applications and text messages transferred as well as my three e-mail accounts. They also showed me how to easily back up so next time it will take minutes and not hours. I was so very grateful for their time and expertise.

I had to return a few bearings I bought that were wrong (full disclosure I ordered the wrong ones for my baler). Apparently if the return is over $50 they have to issue you a check from the Vermont store. Four weeks later and multiple calls and I still have no check. The last time I called Batavia they told me to call the Vermont store. I spoke directly to the lady who issues the checks and she told me she would get right on it. A week later still no check. I am tired of the run around and the "check is in the mail" excuse. Champlain valley Equipment will no longer be getting my business

There two doors one for the hardware section and one for the auto side, but once inside it's all open. The store is bigger than I thought it would be. A very nice gentleman greeted me immediately and offered assistance, he helped me to the paint section, I easy located what I needed and while he mixed it up I took a look around. Lotta of household items, garden tools and other helpful products. I picked up a clearance scraper blade for changing up my registration sticker. I also had a few keys made, super fast and a great price. I was only here for about twenty minutes. Really appreciate the service here.
