After pointing out the mistake the staff still offered me a discount anyway which was very nice. I returned to Aurora Paint Pot to see if they could match a color on our walls. The previous homeowners left us a large can of paint marked "living room" but after touching up the walls it was most definitely not the same color. The staff explained that if I have a fireplace it's likely the paint color changed over time due to the smoke, or it's possible that it just needed to be shaken up again. He told me to bring the can of paint in and then he shook it in their machine (even though the paint wasn't even purchased there). I thought the staff was kind and went out of their way to help me both times I was in.

The employees were even more helpful than I could have imagined, sitting down with me at their inspiration station to go over every color, sheen and size of paint I needed and reviewing it with me afterwords. They got all the paint cans and carried them back to mix and loaded them in my car without me having to lift a finger. They worked with me and the coupons I had to make sure that I was getting the best deal possible which was a relief not to have to haggle with them to use my coupons.
