This review is actually for the Sears retail store and not the Auto Center. I know the two are attached to each other, so anyway... I found this Sears store to be so lame. I thought Sears used to have such a big selection, but I haven't been in a Sears for more than 12 years. This store must be a smaller format or something because there just isn't hardly anything there. The auto center, tools/hardware, appliances, and electronics are usually the best thing about the Sears or the highest volume areas. I went in to get dress shirts because I really used to like the brands, styles, quality & prices of shirts at Sears, but I found the entire men's dept. to be way small and the selection was picked over and/or out of the packages and just looked triflin' and messy. I just don't get the flow of the departments in this Sears. It's like everything is just mashed together due to lack of space. It seemed like there was only 1 or 2 registers for the whole store as well, which after search for a somewhat decent dress shirt for 25 mins doesn't seem like a nice way to spend a couple of more minutes (waiting in line). So, I decided this shirt really wasn't worth it and left the shirt on some womenwear rack and walked out. I don't know if it was Sears that got bought out by Kmart or vice versa, but you can really tell the similarities. Kmart is organized similarly with everything seemingly mixed together with no real flow. And I can't think of the last time I even went in a Kmart let alone a Sears since I can get everything these stores offer at bigger box stores for less money and similar if not better quality. I don't even know why it's still in business, but that's my opinion. Especially with a Target two stores down....no competition. read more

Hahaha! If my experience is typical, I understand why Roebuck ghosted. My experience with the store was comical. I tried to call to see if the store had a tool available for in-store pick up. I got the phone tree, which asked me which department I would like to speak with. When I said tools, it told me "I'm sorry I didn't catch that". When I said tools again it again told me " i'm sorry I didn't catch that" when I said it the third time it told me "I'm sorry, we cannot connect you to that department at this time". Thinking that this was the result of a bad connection, I called them from my landline. I got the same result the second time. My third call was to Home Depot. read more

Buying appliances is like buying a car. The minute you walk in, they start hovering nearby and they don't go away. Especially the ones at Sears. We got Heath. He was just socially awkward. What made it even more so... his boss came around and started asking us about our experience with Heath while he was standing there too! We felt super pressured about buying this warranty which we declined every single time. Skip this Sears and go somewhere else! read more

One of the best parts of this Sears location is the small size. It doesn't overwhelm you and while the choices are varied, you're not spun into anxiety mode trying to decide. I walk in and they remember me every time and I feel that I not only matter, but that my business is important to them. Never felt pressured by any associate or that I was being stalked by a desperate sales clerk looking for a commission. Quick on delivering me my online pickup and just as quick on the apologies if it takes too long. Only complaint would be that the store could use an upgrade to the interior. A bit dated, so if shopping for you is a vacation or experience, maybe a larger Sears would be better. read more

Josh B's review sums it up nicely. Small store, retro/outdated, and the men's clothing section is a big disappointment. I came here with my wife to look for Lands End clothing. Strangely enough, the men's clothing section had NO Lands End yet there was a huge Lands End section in the women's clothing area. I asked the staff, who were friendly and helpful, and confirmed that this was the case. Not sure why a store would stock it for women but not men, but I left feeling like I wouldn't return to this store. read more

Go out of business already. When a "Full Security Scan" is called the moment my family enters this horribly empty enterprise, my first reaction is to leave. There were only two other cars in the parking lot, as usual, so I know management was profiling my family. We're a military family, not thieves. Horrible customer service, do not shop here. They told me exactly which lawn mower blades to buy. The Sears employee was wrong but I didn't find out until after the 30 day return policy. Since I was outside of policy they chose not to help me get the proper blades. My needs could have easily been met, correcting their employees mistake but instead they chose the low road and went by the book, not return, no exchange. Well my book says I won't shop at your store ant longer. Enjoy yourselves, the next time you will go out of business for good with this type of service. read more

I went to look at some men's belts, now being a bigger guy (46" waist) I wasn't expecting to find a bunch of choices but I thought I might find at least one. There were 6 (six) TOTAL men's belts in the store. I'm not one who enjoys online ordering; I like to actually touch an item before making a purchase. This store has gone WAY downhill. If I need to shop at Sears again, I'll shop at the Tacoma or Southcenter locations even though they are 25 and 40 miles from my home (and Lacey is 5 miles). read more

I bought a Bosch 800 Series dishwasher from Sears in Chehalis, WA and this has been the worst dishwasher I have ever had. It has had 4 control panels replaced and now the 5th one is being ordered for it. First of all Sears sells defective appliances like this Bosch and then their repair service is terrible. It takes at least 2 weeks to get parts to fix this dishwasher. I understand they do not keep repair parts on the Bosch in stock. If you didn't keep up a service warranty on this product you would be spending a lot of money trying to get it fixed and in the end just junking it. AND IT IS JUNK. I will NEVER buy a BOSCH product again and I will NEVER buy anything major from SEARS again. read more

My God - do the phones in that store even work? I just spent OVER an hour calling the mens, womens and childrens apparel departments repeatedly and not a single answer. I've been to this Sears a few times before and it's one of the smallest sized Sears I've been to so I know it's not that busy. I just want to ask someone from the Land's End department a question. The Land's End Dept should have their own phone number. Maybe if they did, my question would be answered by now because the people in the Sears sections of the store obviously don't know how to pick up a &#cking phone. read more

Sears - I called with a complaint about a product that I purchased and paid home delivery and set up for...3 times now we have rearranged our schedules to be home for the product and 3 times now you have not delivered. Today I spoke to "Bob" employee ID# 608134 to express concern and when I could not get any results from Bob I asked to speak to his manager. He said he was the Boss. I said "Of everything? You don't have a boss at all? You run the company?" to which he said "yes" and I would have to file a complaint at your corporate headquarters to which he did not have a number. I asked him 2 times to verify that he was the top guy and that there was no number and he said Yes. I do not want to file my complaint via snail mail and go into a large bin of complaints and be ignored. I want answers NOW. Who can I talk to please? read more

I went to sears to get my Craftsman tool replaced today. Not only did they not honor the warranty but they were extremely rude, and did not explain why they did not honor the warranty. The manager was worthless, and no one cared. I spend over 20 minutes in line just to be told no. Not ever sorry. Customer service is not present in this store. Sears, If you wonder why your customer base is lacking look at who you hire. From now on, I will only be buying Husky tools, as they also have a lifetime warranty and I dont have to deal with the poor service and explanation of Sears. So save your self from a hassle and shop somewhere else. read more

If I could it would be 1/2 Star review. 2 months ago I made a large purchase almost $8,000. In Appliances and given a sure delivery date April 8. However on the delivery date given and confirmed 2 days prior they never came thru. When I finally got a hold of the contracted delivery department, we were never on their schedule. They report they don't deliver on Friday., with no other delivery date given!! I called Sears Corporate and spoke with Lawrence and he was great..he fixed it and now I have a delivery date 2 months later. Do you believe it to have to go that far to get help. Sears if your reading this I see why your sales are going down. I will tell you get rid of the employees in Lacey including management. They are killing your business, no one goes there. The employees are weird, they lie to you and very rude and condensening.. Even Starbucks will given you supper services and that's just for coffee. read more

Some things here are great and others are so shoddy and cheap! Many things in the hardware department are clearly inferior and would easily break. I was very disappointed. I did buy a dishwasher online from Sears and have liked it very much. It has lasted beyond the warranty (so far) but the customer service people tend to tell you a different story about what is/n't covered depending on who you talk to. Sears used to have really great quality and selection, but now they are much like an empire in its declining years, slowly decaying and about to be lost to the sands of time. read more

Good luck getting vacuum parts replaced even under warranty. Just spent an hour getting transferred from one dept to another before getting cut off after 4 transfers. They aren't clear on who does what on vacuum parts that are faulty!! Haven't had trouble getting the vacuum serviced, just the attachments. read more

This review is in regards to my experience purchasing a new washing machine last Saturday. We walked into the store and immediately found the make (Whirlpool) and model of washer that we wanted for a reasonable sale price. A sales woman approached us and we got the deal started. Bear in mind that the price reflected delivery and installation. As she was writing up the order, she first asked me if I wanted new hoses. Not knowing much about appliances, I asked if I needed new ones? Of course (don't know if that is correct or not...but..OK). Add another $20 or so. Then she asked what day we wanted it delivered. I indicated the following Saturday and she quickly replied that it would be an additional $10. Really? What happened to free? I felt like Sears had me by the short hairs...burn a vacation day or spend $10? I opted for the upcharge. Then she asked if we wanted the old machine hauled off. No, I'm going to plant flowers in it to save the $25 you are now going to charge me for that service. Of course I want it hauled off...and I understand the charge 'cause nothin' is free but I was feeling like everytime I turned around, they were adding another charge. I accept that I may (or may not) need new hoses and that they charge for the haul off but the Saturday thing is crap. And don't get me started on the hard sell for the maintenance agreement! read more

All in all, the shopping (Washer & Dryer) experience wasn't bad. What we wanted was on sale and although the sales lady wasn't terribly knowledgeable, she was friendly and helpful. There was about a 2 week wait for delivery and that was not a problem. The only issues I had, were that the delivery team was almost an hour late, only one of them spoke English and they did not bring the correct drain hose. They were against modifying the hose they did bring and kept telling us to go to Lowe's (35 min. away). I finally got them to modify the hose to complete the install. read more

Ordered a very expensive washer and dryer from Sears, which were never delivered, with no phone call, no email, no anything. For all I know, the delivery guys could have taken them home with them. Just didn't even bother showing up, and didn't bother making a phone call to reschedule the delivery. Called customer service, which is Sears' offshored 800 number, and the people there are useless, if not actually damaging to the company. I was told twice my appliances were "on the way", and then was hung up on TWICE when I called to cancel my order. Some of the English that was used by the customer rep was so stilted that I could not understand what he was saying, and on top of that, the reps just HANG UP if they can't understand YOU. Sears should be ashamed of the way they are conducting business. NEVER, EVER AGAIN. Do not give business to these dumb criminals! read more

So I put something on lay away paid for it in full, they told me that the product wouldn't be in for 11 days. Than I went online found out that Tacoma had it in stock. So I went in to ask them if they couldn't have the one from Tacoma sent down and the english manager said it can't be done because that is part of Tacoma's stock. So than I asked for a refund and he said I couldn't get a refund till my product came to the store. So I said what are you holding my money hostage. Mind you during this whole expierence this manager did not try to do anything on the cashier and just said it doesn't do it. So I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. Than I asked for his boss and when they would be in, his response was tomorrow and I asked when he said the morning time. I asked what time in the morning 8, 9, 10, and than another lady chimed in 10. So I go back the next day and I talk to the manager, I tell her my side of the story and she brings the other manager to the back with us. Then she actually tries to do my refund on the cashier and guess what happened, it gave me my money back, no bs about it couldn't give me my money till I get the product at the store, no it trying to send me a check like the english manager said. It is a sad day when a manager of the store has to act like a cashier and gets everything right. read more
