Came by to avoid dismissal time to find they only had packaged, premade sandwiches available. The turkey on my sandwich was highly processed and had a rubbery texture. Formed/ pressed "turkey". A leaf of lettuce. Mediocre pepper jack. Not worth $5, let alone the $9.50. Guy on register was busy on his phone, charged me, and was back on his phone before the transaction was complete. I ordered the large breakfast burrito called The Barrel and the portion is generous. It is definitely two meals for me. The bacon was really good, the potatoes were soft, and the avocado was ripe. Everything was cooked well and did not feel greasy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They also have a great variety of food options and a solid hot sauce selection for purchase, including Manuel's salsa and The Pepper Plant. Decided to try this place out for the first time after a hike. Definitely do not regret that decision! The deli is located inside of a market. They have a lot of sandwich options, as well as other food. You can also make your own sandwich. I tried their Palm BLT and added turkey and provolone cheese to it. It was delicious! We also tried their Italian job which was also amazing! We got two half sandwiches for I believe $6.99 each. Such a good deal. There is seating both, indoors and outdoors, which is perfect! Cashier Barbara was incredibly nice -- welcoming, patient, and just had a great attitude overall. It made the whole visit feel more personal and enjoyable. The breakfast burritos are what you want to get here. $10 in Apr '23 gets you a good size burrito and even includes avocado. Sandwiches are decent here but the value is less. You can choose off the menu or make your own burrito or sandwich. There is seating inside and out. It also has a small selection of wines and beer with some snacks as well. They also have a ready made section too. What's nice is it seems they incorporate local produce as well. The eggs are from Glaum which is great. read more

If the store hours change by an hour, (closing at 5 instead of 6) this needs to be blatantly away to guests. I was pushed out by two young kids in a rush to close. They blamed it on the owner. Ok against my better judgement, I returned to try breakfast. We ordered an avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich, not good! Avocado Toast (1 Stars $7.50) The avocado was not fresh cut from a ripe avocado. It was some mix of different avocados from the night before. It was a multi color shades of green and brown. It was gross to look at, plus no seasoning. For 7.50, I expect 1 ripe avocado to be used. Be warned, do not order! Breakfast Sandwich (3 Stars) They give a good amount of egg, seems like the same amount they would give to a breakfast burrito. The bacon was not crispy and folded into the egg. The bacon should be crispy and laid across the top. The cheddar cheese was ok but kinda in one ball partly melted. Very poorly executed. read more

WOW. I can't believe I live so close to this treasure and it took me this long to try Palm Deli. I guess it's true what they say: good things come to those who wait! My expectations were low. I figured this is just a cafe with sandwiches and pasta but it is so much more than that. Like, damn this place has some good good sandwiches. Ericka's favorite was fantastic. It is a flat bread panini sandwich with turkey, pesto mayo, havarti, spinach, tomato, onion, and pepperoncinis! Very tasty! I kept thinking about it for hours after eating it. Would get again! We also got prime time at the Palm which has roast beef, cheddar, and sauteed sweet onions. Totes forgot to ask for horseradish sauce but we had some at home so it's all good. There is plenty of outdoor seating, vegetarian and gluten free options, ready made foods, and a ton of shelbes with snacks. Fyi they do not sell fries. I stood at the wrong area for probably 5 minutes or more before realizing that the area to pay is by the front door. There was nobody behind the counter or anyone waiting so I didn't think anything of it/ended up in the back of a long line. I was confused bc some ppl were getting their food and drinks from the display counter so I figured I'd pay after getting my food? Since the change of ownership the quality of food and customer service have gone down hill significantly with an increase in price. Simply put, it's just not good. I would recommend you go someplace (any place) else, like The Farm. I grew up coming here every day after school, but everything that made this place special is now gone. Driving home from Manresa, we decided to grab lunch at this deli since it was nearby. Wasn't expecting much. Nothing on the menu was jumping out at me, so we settled for the following after asking the cashier for his recs: Grilled cheese: 4/5 oooey gooey thick melted cheese! Sooo good! Kids gobbled this down. Tri tip special: 5/5 wow packed with so much flavor! This was delicious! Ericka's favorite: 5/5 Ericka sure knows what a good sandwich tastes like. This sandwich looks semi healthy but totally hit the spot. So happy we found this deli. Will definitely be stopping by again when we are in the area. It's right off the fwy. Date 7/21: Last time I will be visiting this establishment! I was beyond appalled, of what occurred during my visit. While ordering my sandwich and having a conversation with the cashier, I paused mid conversation to heard such foul language coming from the older lady in the kitchen. The cashier try to apologized on her behalf when it should never have occurred in the first place. I will never be coming here again. Stopped in today to check the place out since I usually DoorDash my Açaí Bowls. They have SO MANY SANDWICH OPTIONS and i could tell by the amount of customers they had, this is a really popular deli! They seemed a little short staffed but I totally get it because just like them, most businesses are experiencing the same. The young crew they had working were great: very professional, attentive and on it. It took a while to get my order but was definitely worth the wait and the guys let me know it would be a little while. They were working their butts off back there!! But today when I went in after not having gone for quite a long time I was crushed when I was informed that the olive tapenade was all gone. I walk in and buy the Palm Burrito, and for $15.36 you figure a good portion and a quality burrito, instead you get mushy microwaved eggs with unmelted cheese, and the taste of yesterdays sandwiches lingering on the panini press marks they give an excuse for charging as much as they did. I'd rather burn myself with the stupid panini press that buy from here again. But they are more expensive than average around here to start and they now used the "avian flu egg shortage " as an escort to add $2.50 to each sandwich or burrito containing eggs. I cannot recommend Palm Deli enough, especially now that they're open until 6pm. I tried their Quesabirria tacos yesterday and they were some of the best tacos I've had for some time. Their paninis and coffee drinks are also very satisfying for a mid-day meal. They have such a variety of snacks, beverages, cookies, even tamales and cannolis! Yummy sandwiches at the Palm Deli! And this place is more than just a deli: it's a little convenience store too! You can grab chips, drinks, and other snacks to go along with your sandwich! One thing I really liked about this place was that it offered more than just the regular vegetarian options. Many of their sandwiches had yummy garlic portobellos. I got the village panini, which had portobello, onions, and smoked Gouda. It was admittedly a little messy, but it was good! Palm Deli used to be a gem. New owners took over and they cannot execute the old menu choices. The breakfast burrito, which used to be the best thing going, are much worse now. My old favorite was a build-your-own sandwich, but I can't get it anymore because 3 times in a row they did not understand what "easy mustard" was and slathered on way too much of it, maybe because they thought it should replace the mayo I did not want? The new owners also brought in new menu items which come from another business they own. These are done better which is why they get a 2 and not a zero.
