Hanging out with my cousin and decided to try this spot. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. The menu is expansive with something for everyone. The food is delicious and comes out piping hot. The seafood bisque was amazing and the portions are plentiful. This atmosphere if very family oriented and the servers are amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Food was very tasty! The service was great. The waitress was very attentive and checked on me multiple times which I appreciated. The restaurant gave you the feel of an old school ice cream shop. Very busy and lots of happy customers

Once again this family of restaurants does not disappoint!!! The food is always as described and plentiful. The service never fails and it seems that each time we come we have a new Greek or Italian waiter/waitress, who is attentive and helpful. The menu is huge so make sure you have some idea of what you want to eat. The exterior is diner on . Great ambiance and desserts galore. Come and enjoy.

Who doesn't love a shiny diner! Great vibe, large space, and look at those desserts! I had the standard eggs, bacon, home fries breakfast. It was very good. Bottomless coffee is a plus! The music added to the ambience with 50s music playing. Service was good but a tad slow. It wasn't very busy when we got there. Seated immediately in a nice booth. I sure wish we had one of these where I live. Great place for brunch and open 24/7!

I ate French toast. The toast had a rubbery texture. It was quite tough. With the strawberry preserve, it was fine. The scrambled eggs were okay. The hash brown was nice. I ate the Turtle Cheesecake. It was quite sweet but it was wonderful. The desserts at Marietta Diner are great. The waiter gave us the Chocolate Suicide Cake as a gift. It was delicious. I love their Strawberry Cheesecake the most.

Everything you could ever want. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert - 24/7! I love the Greek lemon chicken soup. The chicken and waffles are great, and the chopped steak dinner is yummy! Our server, Rengel, was so sweet and attentive. He asked us if we wanted a dessert after eating, our huge meals and we said no, but he was so sweet and brought our granddaughter a sundae. The place is always hopping, so if you don't want a crowd or to wait, you might want to consider going a little earlier for your meal. However, the service is so good and quick that you really never wait too long. It's always worth it. The restaurant is warm on the inside with sort of a dark interior and lots of mirrors. OK, so let's talk about dessert. Highly recommend the French silk pie, the apple pie, the tiramisu cake, the red velvet cake, the white chocolate raspberry cake, and the Boston cream pie. Go here!

You can find plenty of full scale reviews of the Marietta Diner on YouTube and across the Internet. It has been featured in television multiple times and is open 24/7. It even has a drive thru. My personal favorites are the gyro, the party melt, and perogies romano, but everything I've had here is consistently good. The servers are always top notch and it's constantly busy, even at midnight in a weekday. Truly a must visit if ever in the neighborhood for an authentic diner experience.

These people know how to move people in an out of a restaurant... we came in at lunch time and it was very busy but our wait was minimal for a table and then for our food. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and the server asked me if I wanted it with gyro chicken or beef. It took me a minute to process the question. I thought by definition a Philly cheese steak was beef. Anyway, we were in a hurry and passed on the desserts... we did pass by the case, though!

The lemon chicken soup was yummy!

Loved it! Just avoid the very blonde woman in 50s. She was at the front, and did not seem to want to be there. All the others were wonderful, and food was amazing. Huge potions!!!

Went there for the first time as we are in Marietta & my wife had seen it on Guy Fieri's TV show. It's open 24/7 which is just crazy. The food is average but they give big portions and I think that's why the place is packed. The service was decent and quite busy so you need patience both to get in and to be served at your table. We also took 3 slices of cake home which I read are from Alpine bakery and pretty decent but close to $13/slice

Marietta Diner went above and beyond again today. We encountered a very busy restaurant at lunch with standing room only in the hallways, yet the hostess estimated our wait time as 15 minutes. And sure enough, the staff delivered and had us seated within 15 minutes. My sausage and cheese omelette was delicious, as were the home fries,, although I did add salt, pepper, and hot sauce. My family enjoyed gyro platter with Greek potatoes and Greek salad., corned beef hash, and eggs. Our server was friendly, personable, and very quick. If you e never been to the Diner, you must see the display of stars on the wall with owner Gus, and Maria, owner Mom who is always watching and making sure everything is perfect. The display of cakes in the glass case is amazing in volume, size and color. The front hallway includes a Guy Fieri and Food Network video. This is a casual restaurant with diner flair.

If you're in Marietta and looking for a classic diner experience, Marietta Diner is a must-visit. The menu is enormous, with everything from breakfast favorites and comfort food to fresh seafood, steaks, and decadent desserts. No matter what you're craving, you'll find something. The portions are generous, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that classic diner charm that's both lively and welcoming. Be sure to save room for dessert--the display case alone is worth a visit! Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late-night bite, Marietta Diner consistently delivers great food, great service, and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Marietta.

The desserts are 10/10! I tried the cookies and cream cake and the cheesecake. The diner is super cute with photos of celebrities and other famous folks who have visited the dinner. It's very classic and friendly. The servers were patient with our large group and explained all of the various desserts they offered. Worth a stop for sure, and they stay open 24 hours!

Is the Marrietta Diner open on Christmas day?

They NEVER close. Only time I can ever recall is when there was a death in the family.

Does anyone know what it's like at the marietta diner on a Sunday? My family and I plan to make a visit today for the first time. Any suggestions on what we should try?? Let us know!

It depends on the time of day when you are visiting and the size of your party. Sunday brunch time (i.e. after church) is busy as is "early bird" time slot. The lines move quickly and there is a large seated waiting area. Large parties - over 6 will…

It was fairly crowded when we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was super nice and attentive but didn't know the specials or the answers to our questions. It's a casual place with lots of parking, and a very southern type of "diner." I had the fish tacos (grilled) and tater tots. I enjoyed the tacos and appreciated the amount of fish and toppings, but they were very hard to eat. I was able to pick up the first one without making too much of a mess but by the time I got to the second one, the tortilla was too soggy and I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The tater tots were fine, just regular frozen tots, but they weren't even hot when I received them. There were two things that knocked down the rating. The food took forever to come out! And one plate came out several minutes after the others. More seriously, one of our party has a food allergy and when our waitress checked with the kitchen about what dishes she could have, she didn't seem to be able to get a straight answer. Idk if the kitchen staff just didn't know but that seems kind of dangerous... Luckily she picked something that doesn't typically have this ingredient and was fine. Overall everyone enjoyed their meals but I don't think anyone was particularly wowed. Feelings were mixed on the fried okra. The fried squash could have been amazing but they were huge inconsistent-sized pieces of squash. While one friend enjoyed her burger, it was so messy and impossible to pick up. I do appreciate that the sides were marked if they had meat in them. We got two desserts to go - a slice of pecan pie and a slice of strawberry cake. I was disappointed in the pecan pie. It was a small piece for the price and it wasn't great. If it was delicious, I wouldn't mind paying. The slice of cake was a decent size but was also nothing special, although I think it was enjoyed more than the pie. I also have mixed feelings on listing the cash and card prices. I get it, but I'd rather just know I'm going to be paying a whatever percent convenience fee for using a card.

It's located in a shopping center (there's a racetrac sharing the area as well) but it's easy to find with the standout signage. We could tell from the parking lot that it wasn't super busy and once we walked in, we were greeted and taken to our table. The waiting area has all sorts of license plates, merch, an area for local businesses to leave cards and kinda gives you a colorful glimpse into the restaurant itself. We were seated in the Front Yard and my kiddos immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of the decor, the bus that they could see which is located behind the bar area, and they each got a pack of wikki stixs that kept them occupied throughout our time at the table. The decor makes the space super fun, there are plenty do tvs around, and this was just a really family friendly place. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. While I was stuck between getting the MMY Patty Melt, I decided to go with the Totally Tubular Turkey Club. My husband got the Buckin' Buffalo, one kiddo opted for a cheeseburger and the other kiddo wanted chicken tenders. It took about 15 mins for the food to come and when it did it looked sooooo delicious. My club was fresh and tasted really good. Bacon, turkey, white American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I guess their house sauce all on sourdough. I loved it and I opted for onion rings instead of tots or fries because I really wanted some and really enjoyed them. The onion rings were not greasy and tasty so good. Everyone enjoyed their food (the kiddos mentioned their fries being a bit salty and after I tried one I agreed) but we were near the pinball room soooo after they finished they were asking if they could go okay games. Before we left the table, I got a cookies n cream milkshake which was sooooo good and came with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles on top and gummy worms. We did visit the pinball room and the kids had a blast. Bring cash to play most of the games but it was fun to see everyone having fun playing games and enjoying their Friday night. Really enjoyed this place and want to come back to try some other items on the menu. Such a cute place!
