Who doesn't love a shiny diner! Great vibe, large space, and look at those desserts! I had the standard eggs, bacon, home fries breakfast. It was very good. Bottomless coffee is a plus! The music added to the ambience with 50s music playing. Service was good but a tad slow. It wasn't very busy when we got there. Seated immediately in a nice booth. I sure wish we had one of these where I live. Great place for brunch and open 24/7!

You can find plenty of full scale reviews of the Marietta Diner on YouTube and across the Internet. It has been featured in television multiple times and is open 24/7. It even has a drive thru. My personal favorites are the gyro, the party melt, and perogies romano, but everything I've had here is consistently good. The servers are always top notch and it's constantly busy, even at midnight in a weekday. Truly a must visit if ever in the neighborhood for an authentic diner experience.

Greek lemon chicken soup, one of my favorite things here.

Everything you could ever want. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert - 24/7! I love the Greek lemon chicken soup. The chicken and waffles are great, and the chopped steak dinner is yummy! Our server, Rengel, was so sweet and attentive. He asked us if we wanted a dessert after eating, our huge meals and we said no, but he was so sweet and brought our granddaughter a sundae. The place is always hopping, so if you don't want a crowd or to wait, you might want to consider going a little earlier for your meal. However, the service is so good and quick that you really never wait too long. It's always worth it. The restaurant is warm on the inside with sort of a dark interior and lots of mirrors. OK, so let's talk about dessert. Highly recommend the French silk pie, the apple pie, the tiramisu cake, the red velvet cake, the white chocolate raspberry cake, and the Boston cream pie. Go here!

These people know how to move people in an out of a restaurant... we came in at lunch time and it was very busy but our wait was minimal for a table and then for our food. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and the server asked me if I wanted it with gyro chicken or beef. It took me a minute to process the question. I thought by definition a Philly cheese steak was beef. Anyway, we were in a hurry and passed on the desserts... we did pass by the case, though!

If you're in Marietta and looking for a classic diner experience, Marietta Diner is a must-visit. The menu is enormous, with everything from breakfast favorites and comfort food to fresh seafood, steaks, and decadent desserts. No matter what you're craving, you'll find something. The portions are generous, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that classic diner charm that's both lively and welcoming. Be sure to save room for dessert--the display case alone is worth a visit! Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late-night bite, Marietta Diner consistently delivers great food, great service, and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Marietta.

Sausage omelette with cheese and home fries

Marietta Diner went above and beyond again today. We encountered a very busy restaurant at lunch with standing room only in the hallways, yet the hostess estimated our wait time as 15 minutes. And sure enough, the staff delivered and had us seated within 15 minutes. My sausage and cheese omelette was delicious, as were the home fries,, although I did add salt, pepper, and hot sauce. My family enjoyed gyro platter with Greek potatoes and Greek salad., corned beef hash, and eggs. Our server was friendly, personable, and very quick. If you e never been to the Diner, you must see the display of stars on the wall with owner Gus, and Maria, owner Mom who is always watching and making sure everything is perfect. The display of cakes in the glass case is amazing in volume, size and color. The front hallway includes a Guy Fieri and Food Network video. This is a casual restaurant with diner flair.

The desserts are 10/10! I tried the cookies and cream cake and the cheesecake. The diner is super cute with photos of celebrities and other famous folks who have visited the dinner. It's very classic and friendly. The servers were patient with our large group and explained all of the various desserts they offered. Worth a stop for sure, and they stay open 24 hours!

We lived in the Marietta area between 1993 and 2000 so we had been to Marietta Diner many times before and since we were back in town for a Braves game, we hit it on a Thursday night and then again for breakfast on a Friday. Some things never change, the portions are massive and the service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I ordered a club sandwich, my wife ordered a tomato with chicken salad, and our son ordered an egg sandwich. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings, which of course was a mistake due to the amount of food in our order. The onion rings came out first. Large order with ranch dressing. Crispy and hot. They were very good. Again, I understand that is really doesn't take much to prepare a club sandwich but it was very good and the bacon was crisp and smoky. My wife and son really enjoyed their meals and spoke of how delicious they were. Again, massive portions. Friday morning our son chose the Marietta Diner again and we had breakfast. I ordered the deluxe pancake breakfast with home fries. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict, and our son ordered pancakes and bacon. Unlike many places, these pancakes don't rely upon syrup or toppings for their only taste. they are simply good. Bacon was cooked perfectly for my taste. The home fries were delicious and a massive portion. Again, I could not finish everything. Our son agreed with me on the taste of the pancakes. My wife loved the Eggs Benedict with the only complaint, one egg was cooked perfectly runny and the other overcooked. Service was fast and efficient again. If you are in the area and looking for quality food, good service, and a huge variety to satisfy anyone in your group, this is the place to go.

0 stars if I could. Ordered a BLT on toasted bread. Got untoasted, raw, soggy, doughy bread. Bacon was so overcooked, I hurt my tooth when I bite down on it. The potato salad was disgusting.

Seafood Amore, one of the Wednesday specials
    James D.

I stopped in here on a work trip based on a recommendation from a coworker. It's a cool little joint that's got the old school diner feel yet a much larger footprint. It was full for a Wednesday night which told me right off the bat that it was good. The menu is very large almost like a book so there is something for everyone at this restaurant. I ended up ordering one of the Wednesday specials, because yes, they had a whole separate page just for the specials that day. Seafood amore... and man it did not disappoint. It's a large portion, just like everything else there, that had shrimp, scallops, and lobster ravioli in a bisque sauce. It really was a great dash. Ample amounts of all the seafood with a wonderful tasting bisque sauce- I would definitely order this dish again. Server was nice and attentive and food was served quickly. Good spot to eat!

The place had a nice theme to it the place was decent clean we was sat down instantly which was nice it didn't take long to get our food but we ask for bread and they never brought us bread and the waiter was just standing nearby watching us from time to time which was weird the food was pretty bland and needed more seasonings but all and all pretty good.

Usually don't have any issues when coming here. Food is pretty consistent, just needed a little bit of salt tonight and it was good. My food was broiled properly... next time I'm coming back for breakfast for dinner like I usually get..

What a delightful stop! This diner made me miss living in NY. As soon as I sat down they gave me this soft pillow challah like bread and spanakopita. I ate a bacon cheeseburger, fries and washed it down with a coke for dinner. It was super clean and I can see why guy fieri loved this place! I'll be back!

The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back!

I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside.
