I always pass by this place without even considering to dine in. Today, went for lunch and the restaurant was not busy. It was Tuesday noon and maybe that's why it was not busy nor did I need a reservation. Not sure about dinner times or Friday/Saturday evenings. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and had that high end vibes. We were seated right away as there were plenty of open tables. The server was very nice to go through the menu and wine selections although we did not need to order any alcohols. We got crab cake (came with one) as a starter and it was amazing. Full of crab meat with so much flavor. I went with brick-ovrn roasted Chilean sea bass for my entree. Garlic sesame glaze on Chilean sea bass was super delicious. Perfectly cooked sea bass with rice and mushrooms under it, topped off with green onions, everything was perfect. Would love to have this everyday if money wasn't the issue. read more

It was pretty good. I started with the field greens salad. It had varied lettuce, "toybox" (read: grape) tomatoes, and some crunchy grains. The lettuce had good quality but the dressing was heavy-handed and sweeter than expected. The grains were a tad gritty. My salmon was very delicate. It picked up the taste of the cedar plank on which it was served nicely. The accompanying green beans were al dente and the small potatoes were yielding albeit a bit too easily. The dill sauce, like the salad dressing, felt and tasted heavier than I would have liked but it wasn't bad. My raspberry cannoli was small and delightful; all of the desserts were served in a double shot glass. I appreciate a dessert that's not overwhelming in size yet is satisfying. If the above leaves you wondering why I have four stars, it's because the other members of my party liked their meals better than I did. My wife had the same salad and thought the dressing was perfect. Her filet mignon was so tender that it was buttery. Our friend enjoyed her filet, too, as well as her asparagus soup. The room is somewhat loud, though conversation is possible. It's also a bit dark (my wife had to borrow my phone to illuminate the menu). The staff was efficient but it would have been nice to have a water glass refill. The place feels somewhat corporate and overly practiced in tone but they do deliver quality. read more

i've been here a few times and the food and service has always been phenomenal. I love that the menu changes with the seasons and everything on the menu is healthy with many choices for those with dietary restrictions. They are willing to make swaps in their sides to make something gluten free and every is under 600 calories. There are lots of wine choices (52 by the glass -hence the name) but I highly recommend the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan. The Sesame Salmon Salad is excellent but my favorite thing to order is the Oven Roasted Chilean Sea Bass. It is cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is elegant yet casual and a great spot for a date night or lunch with friends. The interior is roomy and the tables and booths are spaced out nicely where you never feel crammed or claustrophobic. The noise level is usually low even during peak times and you can actually have a nice conversation! Service has always been friendly and professional. I love their mini indulgences because they the perfect size when you want to end your meal with something sweet but not feel overstuffed. On your birthday you get a complimentary one on the house. Looking forward to trying their Spring menu or coming back soon for Happy Hour which i never tried yet. read more

Came here with a group of 5 to celebrate a birthday. I made a reservation online a few days in advance, and the entire process was quick and painless. The service was exceptional. Great attention to detail. I felt that we were very well taken care of all night. The food was good, but VERY salty. I noticed a lot of older clientele, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it? We started with the mushroom flatbread and ahi tuna tartare. Both were good. For the main course, I had the oven roasted chilean sea bass. The fish itself was good, but the ginger-sesame glaze was entirely too salty. Chilean seabass is mild and rather forgiving. This particular dish was not, and it was hard to finish. I don't think I'd order this again. I tried a bit of someone else's salmon, and that was delicious - I wish I had gotten that instead. All of the drinks we had were good. Desserts were delicious and very cute. We had a good experience, but please, hold some of that salt! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I came to celebrate my bday with another couple. From the time we arrived until we left, everything was great. I loved the dining space, very subdued and not noisy, and the ambiance was lovely. There was a happy birthday placard on the table, and then the waiter brought me a red rose (fun!), and a card. I ordered the sparkling wine flight for $16, which was enough for my whole meal. I liked all 3 of the wines. My bf got a bourbon, the other couple got a prosecco and a beer. I started with the butternut squash soup and then the rainbow trout. We also ordered the brussels sprouts and the truffle risotto to share. Everyone thought both were really good. My trout was delicious and a huge serving for me, I brought 1/2 home. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all thought the pricing was reasonable. They do move things along quickly because they want to turn the table over, so that would be my only complaint. If you want to take your time and have a leisurely dinner, it's hard to do. They brought my soup super fast and before I'd had a few bites, the main courses started showing up. It felt a bit rushed. What a fantastic experience! I had gotten a gift card from my father for my birthday and it was one that could be used at any Darden restaurant. I won't name the ones I won't go to but I was willing to try something new. We made reservations and arrived on time. We were seated promptly at our table and we had a little wooden placard on the table wishing me a happy birthday. Our server came by and took a drink order. When she came back with our drinks we put an order in for the flatbread appetizer. I cannot eat dairy at all and I loved how they divide at the flat bread into two sections, one with and one without cheese. When it came to order it took a little bit to decide what to get as so many things sounded good. I ended up ordering the sesame ginger sea bass and my husband ordered the rainbow trout. Seabass was practically and I loved the ginger sesame glaze. It was on a bed of mushrooms and rice pilaf with a few snap peas. Have no idea how they do it but the inside of the fish was tender yet that I just had a good crisp on it. I wasn't able to save room for dessert as everything was so good I had to finish it. But my husband got a small desert shooter and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to wonderful food, the service was outstanding. Our server checked on us periodically but not so much to be overbearing. The manager came by to wish me a happy birthday and we chatted for a few minutes. I was given a rose and a birthday card. This place is great! Went here for a family dinner and was pleased with everything. Our waitress was super nice and knowledgeable about everything. We ordered a wine flight, steak, and sea bass. Everything was cooked super well and it was also fun to try all of the wines. The place is very nice inside, each table is almost like its own private section. A lot of people were in business casual wear, but there doesn't seem to be a dress code. I wore leggings and a nice sweater and didn't stick out. I would recommend making a reservation as it gets pretty busy (and parking is even more crazy!!) read more

I'm a fairly hard grader, but this place has been excellent every time we went. Last night was particularly good. They were extremely busy because of the Valentines weekend. Short wait for a reservation but that's understandable. The food was outstanding, of course. They fully supported our note that we were celebrating three birthdays. So that came with some welcome things on the table and three free desserts, which were appreciated. Desiree our server was great. A small snafu occurred when a plate of food was inadvertently dropped in the kitchen. But they did exactly what you should do in that... mgr came out and explained the delay and comped that dish. Exactly what they should do. Excellence under pressure is really telling. And it was interesting to have such a good evening in so many ways, even though they were as busy as I've ever seen them. Food, of course is the centerpiece and it was prepared perfectly in every regard. The service was excellent and very personable, despite the stress of a very busy night. We wanted to love this place. The restaurant is bright and beautiful and very open and large. The wait staff was very nice as well. I got the Kona crusted lamb that came with asparagus and sweet potato mash. The lamb was beyond salty, I tried very hard to get through a couple pieces but it was not edible. The sweet potatoes and asparagus were good. All the other food was very plain and a bit flavorless. My wife's steak and lobster seemed to not be seasoned at all. The truffle risotto was also a bit bland. Things were cooked well, but it seemed like all the salt ended up on my lamb and on nothing else. It's almost as if they aren't able to decide what they wanna be. Definitely not a steakhouse, not enough options. They don't have a specialty, it would appear. They did take the lamb off from our tab so I appreciated that. I cannot say I will be back for any food in particular though. read more

Seasons 52 is a great restaurant for those who are looking for an upscale restaurant with good vibes and delicious food. Parking is plentiful UNLESS you're coming around dinner time then it can be dicey. During dinner, the restaurant offers valet parking for a fee or you can park in the parking lot behind the restaurant or structure for free. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Flatbread on Gluten-Free bread along with the Strawberry Salad. Both were really good choices. The only thing about this place that I'm still not sold on is the service. It seems like every time I come in here the service always starts out good but tends to get worse as the dinner service goes on. By the end of the meal, the servers seem to disappear and not come back right away to take the check/money. I end up having to wait 20 minutes to get my change back. Hopefully, they can work on this. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food makes this a go-to for after work hours or to grab a bite with friends and family. read more

Went with a friend for lunch and had a very delicious meal. It's very upscale, beautiful dining room. I'm quite used to very nice restaurants. We were seated in the bar area by an unfriendly young hostess--not a good first impression or welcome, leaving me with a 'it's slightly snooty' feel, which is not good. Our server was very good & friendly. I had the crab cake sandwich, which was DELICIOUS, and had a very good, though simple, arugula salad with a very nice dressing (white basalmic?) My friend had the fish tacos, she said those were just ok. It was pretty slow at those tables & our server was happy to just let us sit & talk after we finished, which we appreciated. For dinner we had the chipotle bbq shrimp flatbread, bbq chicken salad, and for dessert enjoyed the key lime pie mini. Didn't know till we paid they offered a nice happy hour that we could have utilized that had many of the flatbreads we liked: wine and sangrias. I was really disappointed about how they take the safety of employees and customers like Covid is gone. Masks not required for both staff and customers. Tables close again. Yes, the food was the normal quality but one in our party really didn't like his choice. My salad was good but nothing to write home about. Service was good but the low light made reading the menu hard. Almost as hard as finding parking. Make sure you give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes to find parking. I honestly really like Seasons, it's a great go to since they usually have reservations available. The service and food are both great. The food is always fresh, the menu is large so there's something for everyone and most dishes are amazing. I really like the steak, shrimp, salads, and salmon. The drinks are also great, I haven't gotten a drink I didn't like. However, the watermelon margarita is really sweet. The last time I came in I ordered tuna tartare as an app. I wasn't a huge fan due to the wasabi guac, I wish they hadn't added wasabi. I also tried the new shrimp, pineapple flatbread and it was really good. The watermelon salad was good, but the salmon was probably the best salmon I've ever had. It had so much flavor and was cooked to perfection! Service was great, as always. I'll definitely be back! read more

Giving a 5 star review to a chain restaurant is something I don't do often but Seasons 52 in Troy really earned this one. It isn't often my family goes out to dinner with so many allergies and dietary restrictions. We have vegan, gluten-free and fish allergies in our group so when we can eat somewhere without feeling sick or a trip to the ER after, it's a win. However, the staff at Seasons 52 went above and beyond with their attentive service and the food was great. When we called to inquire and make the reservation, they asked about special occasions, dietary needs or anything else they should know about. Already this made us feel at ease because they were thinking ahead. We were in fact celebrating two birthdays and they had the specialty menus ready for us when we arrived. Vegan choices. Yes, choices! Typically mainstream and chain restaurants will have a sad little vegan option, if anything at all, that isn't anything special or satisfying but there were choices for vegan options. I went with the mushroom flatbread with no cheese and the gnocchi. Both were excellent! The specialty menu is easy to read and options are clearly marked according to dietary preference. This wins extra points in my book because not only was the menu easy to navigate, the staff was also well educated. I felt confident that they handle different allergies and preferences regularly and with care, which eased my mind worrying about cross contamination. Our server was fantastic, he was patient when we had questions and provided a great experience for us all. The flatbreads have a gluten-free crust option, which was great and it was perfectly crisp! Everyone enjoyed their meals from chicken to beef, the sides, all the food was as enjoyable as the experience. The bathrooms were clean, the dining area was exceptionally clean and all the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The manager made his rounds to all the tables, he provided a gift card and long stemmed rose for our birthday guests of honor, which was a very nice touch. Overall, we all know it's a hard time for restaurants with many being understaffed etc, so it was exceptionally impressive to feel so valued as a guest and we will definitely be back! read more

An upscale restaurant with a friendly, casual vibe! I wish I could remember our servers name. She was excellent. Food choices were unique, flavorful, and expertly served. Portions were generous without being overwhelming. My partner and I did end up with small leftovers, which were just as good the next day. Their dessert menu was perfect- no exaggerated large pies or cakes that feed 3 people, just little shotglass-sized bites of something sweet. I loved that. A little pricey, but all the small touches they include in the service, the ambience (we had a very roomy booth and the acoustics meant I didn't have to shout to be heard), and food selections made it worth it in my opinion. read more

My first time at this restaurant as I was invited for a birthday brunch. This is a pretty large restaurant but the way it's setup - booths allow for some privacy. And, in our case, our table of 8 was setup in a nook that gave a feeling of private room. Food was pretty good with a rather traditional selections. Salad with salmon had a nice dressing and my request to make my salmon blackened and medium cooked - was nicely executed. Crab cake appetizer was good as well- comes with a single patty. What I did like here is that dessert came in small shot glasses - something many would appreciate- when you want just a small bite of something sweet. While valet service is undoubtedly a convenient perk, reserving all the prime parking spaces directly in front of the establishment exclusively for valet use can be frustrating for non-valet customers. It would be more considerate to designate these spaces for general use, allowing self-parking guests easier access. Especially since handicap parking is very limited. Valet vehicles could be parked in areas farther away, where ample space is typically available, ensuring a fair and balanced approach to parking for all patrons. read more
