This place is lovely - really clean, bright and spacious. I've been twice now and it's super easy and efficient. No appointment needed (super handy where your dog rolls in something uber stinky). It's more than enough time for your basic wash but you can add more time if you need. Love that there is a blow dryer option too (the dogs are less thrilled with that part!) The owner is absolutely lovely - friendly and kind. My smaller dog is a bit nervous of strangers and she liked him straight away, and he didn't even have to bribe her with treats! Seattle canine club is a great place for daycare boarding and to get your dog groomed. I dropped my dog off the other day to get her groomed and they allowed her to stay for quite some time. We had an EXCELLENT experience at Pawsitively Kleen! We are glad this great business is in West Seattle. Mario, one of the owners, came in while we were bathing our dog. He was very kind and nice and explained to us how everything works and we had a great conversation with him. I really appreciated the talk and getting to know him and more about the business. The water was very warm with great pressure and I liked the fact I could use the rinse setting and use my own shampoo & conditioner. The place was very clean and well laid out and had everything we needed. All the equipment was easy to use. Ambrose (one of our dogs) does not enjoy baths but he was much calmer with this one than other self serve washes we have been to. Nancy at Pawsitively Kleen does a great job on Ruby, my Australian Cattle Dog mix. The deshedding treatment lasts a long time. Ruby hates baths and getting her nails trimmed. Nancy was a trooper and got her nails done even though I'm sure she was a bear about it. You can tell how annoyed she is at me in this photo, but look how silky smooth she is! Nancy is great with our dogs. She has many years of experience. They came home looking so clean and fluffy. Ears and teeth clean. She is a pro at clipping their nails. We have had trouble at other places with groomers making their nails bleed but no issues here! They only work on one dog at a time so the appointment was only about an hour for our Corgi and about an hour and half for our larger lab mix. They also have excellent communication through text. The machine was easy to use and the biggest plus iwas that the tub was the right height for my 90# golden to climb into. I've taken him to other places where the tub was so high that he needed to use a ramp and he would refuse (then someone had to help me lift him into the tub). 17min is long enough to shampoo and blow dry (although I was rushing the shampoo portion since I wasn't sure how long it would take) but I ended up Having so much time left that I just blow dried him (he would not let me go near him with a blow dryer at home and since he was cornered in the tub he was fine with it). It was well worth the $18 not suffering through my backyard cold water/hose off! read more

Hey West Seattle! With all the construction on Delridge Way this year, you may not have noticed this awesome new dog wash across from the 76 Gas Station, that just opened in April. Since it's a do-it- yourself setup, no appointment is needed. However, the owner will take appointments upon request. Way better than trying to wash a dog at home, great equipment: handheld spray nozzles with warm water, high quality shampoo and conditioner, scrub brushes, aprons, towels, blow dry. Everything you need to get the job done. My girl is 97 lbs and has outgrown our tub so this is going to be a staple in our dog's hygiene! read more

I just moved and don't have a great place to bath my 80 pound lab. I gave this place a try and it was great! Easy to find. The machine was easy to use. They provide you with a plastic apron to protect you from water and towels. 15 minutes is more than enough time to wash your dog and the cost is pretty low. What a great experience taking our dog for a wash! Normally giving him a bath is a chore but we were in and out in 15 minutes! The self service dog washing machine has its own gated area so you can take the leash off without worry. The cleaning area was big enough for our 70 lb dog and just the right height off the ground so it didn't hurt our backs washing him. The experience is much like a self service car wash where you pay for time and then just select what you want to come out of the hose; soap, conditioner, flea shampoo or rinse. Unlike a car wash though I had plenty of time to wash our large dog in the given amount of time. The building and station were super clean. When we were all done I noticed you get extra time to rinse the tub down for the next person too. The owners thought of everything to make this a perfect one stop quick clean for your dogs. read more

My beagle sheds so much, hates baths and always manages to get me soaking wet when I bathe him at home. I hate having to deep clean my tub and drain after I wash him.
