Their staff (phone staff and on-site plumbers) are professional, communicate well and get the job done. I should call out though that you might be able to save a few $ if you went with an independent but that's kind of the case for most home repair/servicing companies. I've never used them for Electric and/or HVAC so I can't speak to that.

This company has changed. And not for the better…read more A week ago I called to schedule an appointment for a leaky faucet in my house. An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

More recently, we had an issue come up and called them on a Friday. They responded immediately, Kris came out quickly, repaired the system under warranty, and even waived the labor charges. Their customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism have been outstanding from start to finish. It's hard to find companies that stand behind their work like this. Highly recommend Two Brothers Water Heater Repair to anyone needing water heater or boiler work. I would absolutely refer them to friends and family.

And they did it $1,500 LESS than two other notable local shops we got estimates from. I asked why so cheap and One Brother said simply, "that's how much it costs." THIS is integrity folks. No up-selling, no surprises, or vague line items--just two guys and a fast, professional install. I wish these two did insulation, framing, drywall; I'd hire them (or anybody like them) in a heartbeat. Diamonds in the rough. Easiest 5 I've ever given, and we've had a lot of work done on our 1952 Seattle home. Can't recommend enough.

Due to drops of water appearing on the exterior underside of the overhang below my kitchen sink I suspected a small leak. After researching plumbers I chose Ben's Plumbing based on their positive reviews and BBB accreditation, switching from the firm we had used several times in the past. Derek and Taylor arrived and were able to find the general area of the leak. In order to expose the pipes and pinpoint the leak, they concluded that a hole would need to be cut in the groove-and-tongue staggered planks that formed the underside of the overhang. Though they could cut the hole if I wished, they suggested that I have it done by a specialist for aesthetic reasons; Ben's could then return and fix the exposed pipe. I followed their suggestion. After the pipes were exposed I was able to locate the very wee leak. Ben's Plumbing then sent Derek and Taylor to do the repair. They did excellent work, and the total cost was very reasonable with no surprises. The office staff I communicated with (via text) to set up the two appointments, Michelle and Kiera, were a pleasure to deal with.

Josh and Alex truly went above and beyond for us…read more They were here for three visits and handled some genuinely challenging work with professionalism and care. The main job involved replacing a toilet drain lead bend, which turned out to be very complex - they had to cut through a joist to do it properly, and one night they worked all the way until 7pm to make sure it was done right. What really stood out was everything they helped with outside the original scope. They installed both a toilet and a sink even though that wasn't part of their job, and the sink required installing the faucet and assembling legs onto it, they just took it on without hesitation. They also went upstairs to help us diagnose a toilet valve leak and helped fix it on the spot even though that wasn't a part of their scope. We also had our 1-year-old baby at home during the work, and Josh and Alex were incredibly mindful of him the entire time; making sure stair areas were safe, keeping tools secured, and being very aware of where he was. As parents, that level of consideration meant a lot to us. Throughout the process, they were patient, thorough, and clearly cared about doing quality work, not just checking boxes. It's rare to find tradespeople who are this willing to help when things get complicated. We're incredibly grateful for their effort and would absolutely recommend them. If you're working with this company, ask for Josh and Alex... you'll be in very good hands.

tldr - if it's related to HVAC, call the installer of your HVAC system if possible…read more I called Green Bear to take a look at an HVAC system (on second floor) that was leaking water on the 1st floor ceiling (due to AC condensation). They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)
