During the installation, I mentioned an unfinished duct in my basement that had been left open. Although it wasn't part of the original job, they agreed to finish it. To complete the work, they carefully cut through the kitchen flooring and tile beneath my kitchen cabinets so they could run the vent from the basement up into my kitchen. It was a challenging job because everything had to be done underneath the existing cabinets, yet they completed it with incredible precision and craftsmanship. The finished results looks fantastic, and I truly appreciate the extra effort they put into making sure it was done right. They exceeded my expectations again when I asked about installing an electrical outlet in the front of my house. I expected to schedule another appointment and pay an additional fee, but even though they had already packed up their equipment, they gladly took care of it on the spot by connecting it to an existing interior outlet - at no additional charge. That level of customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. Visally, Lubik, and the entire team were professional, courteous, hardworking, and genuinely kind. They listened carefully to my questions and concerns, answered everything thoroughly, and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work. Shortly after installation, I expressed concerns that the AC is not cool/cold for my house and my bedroom upstairs reach's 80F+ even with AC on. AAA came back and said nothing was wrong and even said oh maybe your builder should have installed 2 HVAC systems. I actually questioned their experience as the crew came out for an assessment based on my house sq footage and recommended this unit for my house and I was later told by another tech that the is AC unit is a bit small for my house.. unsure whether they were trying to sell some other unpopular units to their clients. Fast fwd, I hired another company for maintenance today and was told and shown that there were rust and water in my unit and the Inducer has a crack due to POOR gas pipe installation by AAA. Also, the tech told me AAA should have put in a bigger AC unit for my house instead of blaming I need another HVAC. Hence, AAA did not have experience staff to do initial assessment to determine AC BTU/Ton size and their installation was POORLY done!

They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)

I asked him what that meant, he said it was like an air purifier. He was told we would be only paying for the air duct clean and the product itself. He was originally quoted $800 for the cleaning and the air scrubber for a $1600 package deal. We have an Aerus Air Scrubber cut in and installed into our HVAC system. As I walked in the door that night from work, I said, "why does it smell like an ozonator in here?" He asked me what that was. I explained that it was something that sucks the oxygen out of room to remove strong orders quickly. Companies that do Bio-hazard clean-up and restoration commonly use these machines. I am very familiar with this smell, as I have been in property management for 15 years. In fact, I own a small one for vacant homes. Ozone machines can make people very ill. My husband immediately notified Jim, the owner, that my son and I were smelling this odor and were getting headaches and our eyes were watering. It's important to note: we experienced NONE of these symptoms before AirCare USA. Jim claimed that they do not use ozone as they tried that once and he knows its bad. He had no idea what we could be smelling. Maybe it was the "sanitizer" they spray in the machine. He asked us to give it a little while longer. A week passed and still the smell was there and we were even more sick. I got on a step stool and unplugged the machine. When we called to ask them to remove it "100% Customer Guarantee" they pushed us out weeks. The day before the appointment I called Jim and asked how we would be reimbursed. He told me it would be up to Alex and he wasn't sure how much but he would cut us a check. Late that evening I received a text telling me we were not receiving anything back. During the appointment, Alex told my husband we would only see a refund had they been able to get their money back from the company. My husband asked why we should be on the hook for $1600 for something that was making us sick, Alex asked why HE should be on the hook for it. They buy these units in bulk and can't return them. He also said there was nothing in the unit and he has no idea what we would smell. As Alex was leaving my husband had to ask for our piece of equipment back that makes us sick, that they were going to take and not refund us any money. We have a patch in our HVAC system, you cannot find this model number of air scrubber on the internet anywhere and we are still out money. This was our experience with AirCare USA.
