$10+ Adult ticket for this place feels overpriced specially when the place is already located in a very scenic spot of town - Arboretum Garden. I will be happy to spend $7-8 for entry. Otherwise the environment is super scenic and personally I can spend many hours here just sitting in peace . Like any Japanese garden you are bound to find Koi (Carp) Fishes in lake. You would also find Turtles.

The Seattle Japanese Garden is a nice and tranquil escape to the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a designated free parking lot for the garden directly across from the entrance. Garden admission is $10 per adult or $6 with student ID. Depending on the season, there may be more flowers in bloom, but the garden still has beautiful picturesque views nonetheless.

A visit to the Seattle Japanese Garden feels like stepping into a peaceful corner of botanical Japan. The winding paths lead you through beautifully maintained plants and trees, creating a tranquil space perfect for a quiet walk. Along the way, keep an eye on the ponds--the koi love to pop up and say hello. It's also a wonderful spot for photography. My son and future daughter-in-law even chose this garden for their engagement photos, which made the setting feel even more special to me. The garden is truly serene and beautiful. We visited in November and still found it stunning, and we were even able to bring our coffees into the park while strolling the grounds with no issues. A peaceful, picturesque place to slow down and enjoy nature.

Visited during July so most of the flowers were no longer in bloom. It's quite a small garden, not much to do or look at but it is pretty and quiet. We were here for about an hour walking around. There's a small area in the front next to the entrance that includes a student photography gallery as well. It was a place we were excited to visit but as I said before, not much to do or see so I probably wouldn't come back again. Parking is a little walk from the garden and they don't have anyone outside the box office checking for tickets so many people just walked in without paying. They do offer student discounts though as long as you bring your student ID or show proof of your student email. They also sell fish food to feed the koi fishes but I'm more sure how much it is. Overall, okay experience and not too expensive and great for every one of all ages. There's also a lot of hornets so be mindful of that.

I am a big fan of gardens, so we just had to see this. It's an oasis! A place for you to breathe in the scenery and rejuvenate your mind and spirit. Walking around the water and soaking up the greenery.... makes it such a peaceful place. So many spots for pictures. If you're in town, visit this beautiful, serene place.

The Seattle Japanese garden is located inside of Washington Park. General admission is $10 and $6 for students, military and seniors. The garden is beautiful, very green and has lots of koi fish and turtles. The only downside is that it is a small garden. A must visit if you are in the Seattle area!

Seattle Japanese Garden is tucked away in the Seattle Arboretum and is an absolute must see visit for and seattlite or visitors. The view changes season to season and is worth the $10 admission. A lovely way to get out in nature that has shaped and tamed - the koi fish are always hungry and by the size of them fed a lot and often!! Great for family & friends, romantic outings. Highly recommend!!

It was a pleasant early afternoon Sunday at the garden. A nice easy stroll around the pond with Azalea's and Iris's. Restroom located by the front entryway. Parking may be limited by activities in the public park.

I liked coming here a lot. It was very zen and calming. Tickets are only 10$. 6$ for students. It is small though. You could probably only stay for at most half an hour. It's connected to the arboretum. Parking is tricky but possible.

$10 is great price for this location. So beautiful and peaceful. You can bring family. Take wonderful photos with beautiful back round.

First time here and I totally believe I fell in love with Seattle from just coming to this Japanese Garden and surrounding areas. This place has an entrance fee of $10.00 per person but I believe it is well worth it to see what is inside. The beauty of the setup is amazing here. It just feels like you are in total bliss. The colors from the trees and flowers are just so pretty. I am not a flower or tree expert by any means but I can tell that the caretakers of this place give it their heart to make it look truly amazing. So thankful that I was able to see this and I would come back and check it out during different seasons.

It was better than I had expected! I went on the first Thursday of the month, which meant that admission was free. As an added treat, there were dancers and musicians scattered throughout the garden. Grab a map at the entrance and enjoy the sights!

    Cherry Blossoms in April!

The Seattle Japanese Garden is worth checking out! I really appreciated the garden's aesthetics. I was there in the spring and the cherry blossoms were in season, which was cool to see. The stone paths, bridges, and water features contribute to a picturesque setting and the panoramic view from the top of the hill showcases the surrounding trees in their spring glory. Customer service was great! Professional and friendly staff can provide information about the garden layout, and complimentary pamphlets provide everything you need to know. The garden adheres to traditional Japanese elements, what with water features, a zen garden, red bridges, and stone steps; it also incorporates unique aspects that give it a distinct personality. Shaded areas, benches, running brooks, and a tea house contribute to creating an inviting environment. The favorable weather on the day of the visit enhances the overall experience, with sunny skies, a slight breeze, and cool temperatures providing an ideal backdrop for relaxation. Appreciated the attention to detail, diverse features, and the friendly staff here and would recommend this place as a destination for those seeking a tranquil escape from the city.

We were completely blown away by what we saw when we arrived at our appointed time to visit. The Spheres comprises a trio on connected glass domes, located in the center of Amazon-occupied office towers in Downtown Seattle. The Spheres opened in 2018 by Jeff Bezos for his employees. They are only open to the public for free on two Saturdays of each month. The structure was designed by American architecture firm NBBJ. They serve as an employee lounge and workspace. The Spheres are a fully functioning, self-contained ecosystem - a greenhouse with more than 40,000 different varieties of plants from all over the world. It is built on a concrete foundation, using 620 tons of steel. The structures are connected in an open-plan indoor area filled with numerous exotic plants. The most striking feature inside the Amazon Spheres is a 4,000 square foot Canyon Living Wall. It stands 62 feet tall and 50 feet wide. A path winds up four stories across a suspension bridge to a Bird's Nest meeting area. During the day the temperature inside is in the mid 70's with 60% humidity. At night, it drops to 55 degrees with 85% humidity. The highest of the three Amazon Spheres is 90-meters tall. The catalans at the Amazon Spheres contain an incredible 2,643 panels of glass, making the whole structure visible from the outside thus, creating a clear view on the inside. There's also a cafe with treats and coffee. They also offer free tours. We found The Spheres to be a serene and comforting place to visit. The place was amazing!
