Even though she…read morewas required to process patients at light speed to "hit numbers" or whatever the right expression would be in the insurance industry, she was a caring doctor there. Like many doctors in this country, though, she had to make appointments short, and appointments were sometimes weeks out. It was frustrating for both of us. When Dr. Acher announced she was starting a new practice and it would be a concierge medicine practice, I was both confused and intrigued. "You mean I pay even MORE money on top of what I'm already paying for insurance?" I looked into it further both as a concept and as something that had been done successfully on the Eastside. At $100 per month, I decided to give it a try. She said I could phone, text, or email her any day at any time. I didn't believe it at first. But sure enough, I've texted her at night on weekends and she has responded in just a few minutes. Amazing! I don't make a habit of it because Dr. Acher has to live a life, too. My first in-office appointment wasn't even an annual physical, but she talked to me for about 40 minutes. Nothing was hurried. I never felt as if she had to rush to the next patient. I couldn't believe it. For me $8 per day is worth it. I have direct access to my GP. I feel heard and attended to. And she gets to choose how many people are in her practice, which means she can control how busy it gets. Highly recommended! I'm a believer in concierge medicine now and I was already a believer in Dr. Acher.

Have you experienced extreme pain having an IUD installed? PLEASE go to this facility if you'd like…read moreto be on anesthesia for an IUD procedure. The anesthesia will very likely be out of pocket cost, but it was worth every penny! Now for the rest of my review: After experiencing horrendous care at other OBGYN facilities in my more local area, I was first terrified to change to this location for an IUD procedure but I was recommended it by a friend. The doctor called me ahead of my procedure to answer any questions and he was super kind over the phone making me feel so much more comfortable. Day of the procedure there was a bit of a wait as it was filled with appointments. But the waiting room was nice as we all got to watch a Netflix show to pass the time. Once I was called in, the staff were very nice and very efficient to get me ready. And the anesthesiologist was so funny my nerves were completely settled before they put me under. Next I remember being fully dressed and they guided me to a low lit room with comfortable recliners that had such a peaceful ambience. The nurses were kind to answer my questions I had about how the procedure went while I was in that room which was promptly followed by the doctor who did my procedure. She came in to ask how I felt and how I was doing and I just felt an overwhelming sense of care and compassion at this facility that I've never experienced before anywhere else in medical care, I nearly cried from how happy I was. (That could have also been the after effects of the anesthesia but the emotions were still genuine). I was sent home with a little bag of overnight pads and information on my IUD device. My pain levels after never got above a 2/10, and they sent me home with a pain meds prescription for the following few days to address any cramping I might feel. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to this facility, the staff, and the doctors that made my experience here incredible, and comfortable, and safe. I don't care how long of a drive it is for me, I will always only go to this place for OBGYN needs in the future.

I received the best card ever. At first I was so nervous going in. The medical staff told me that I…read moream going to be fine and all of them were really nice and sweet.

We had a long discussion about hormones and their benefits for longevity in post menopausal women. She started me on the right amount of hormones to balance what I was lacking. She explained how the therapeutic levels for us are different than what western medicine believes. I made a second appointment to discuss GLP -1 and it's benefits for weight loss. I had no idea how balanced hormones could help the symptoms I was dealing with. She has knowledge that is beyond what a person can absorb in an hour, but has tons of reading material I could print and take on my business trips. After just 30 days, I feel AMAZING! I think more clear and sharp, intimacy has significantly improved and I don't feel like I am an old weatherd lady. :). I actually sleep through the night! That's HUGE! I feel rejuvenated and happy again. I found help and answers my regular MD could not assist with. If you are a woman between 40 and over, or suffer with pre, peri, or post menopausal, symptoms, and want a Nurse Practitioner that actually listens to YOU and your needs, I encourage you to talk with her, even for a consult. It has changed my life. Balanced hormones, better sleep, and improved intimacy has increased my quality of life substantially!
