They received my medical records and imaging, then lost my file. After more follow-up, I was told my records had also not been properly sent over for review, causing even more delay. Then, after weeks of waiting while I was recovering from broken bones, they finally determined that they do not even accept my insurance. So OPA lost my file, failed to process my records correctly, delayed the medical review, communicated poorly throughout the process, and then only after all of that figured out that they could not see me because of my insurance. That is an unacceptable level of incompetence for a medical office dealing with injured patients. This was not just an inconvenience. I needed timely orthopedic care after a major accident, and their administrative failures wasted weeks of my recovery. I would not recommend OPA Orthopedics based on my experience.

I was told previously that I need knee surgery, and he advised that I at least try strengthening. I am glad I trusted him because within a month I improved significantly and have avoided surgery. My knee used to lock up constantly while walking and now I can even hike and play sports again with few issues. Daniel gave me helpful exercises and made me feel comfortable with the level of pain during exercises; I learned to distinguish between normal growing pains and true harmful pain. My chronic neck pain of 3+ years is complicated. It can be daunting to address, but Daniel instantly gave me so much relief. I am still working on preventing flare ups because much of it has to do with poor posture over time, but I am SO much better off than before. One of the greatest things about this treatment is I finally have the tools to help myself when I can't make it in to see a provider. Like when a chiropractor focuses more on selling you a package of visits than actually treating your ailments. Often times I felt like cattle when I saw previous chiropractors. I would get an exaggerated diagnosis of my physical condition, then was told I need to buy 36 visits to make ensure I got better--because somehow they knew exactly how many visits it would take me to fix my issues. Then I'd go to my appointments and get the three common adjustments and be sent on my way after two or three minutes. Neck adjustment, hip adjustment, back adjustment--visit over. Dr. Asaturov is everything I was looking for in a chiropractor. His adjustments are the best I've ever had. All because he actually pays attention to my body, instead of just going through the motions. Every time I get an adjustment I get up off the table and can stand up straighter, and walk with less pain. The tension in my upper back gets an immediate release. If I have a migraine and get an adjustment, its severity will be cut in half. It's amazing. Amazing. I trust Dr. Asaturov with my body, he's the only chiropractor that's improved my mobility and pain-- and the only on that actually cared about my progress. My option in traditional medicine was to take pain pills until it was bad enough for surgery. At the end of September I could barely use my arm and the pain was constant. I was desperate and figured what do I have to lose. 3 treatments in, I had regained 50 percent of my mobility and constant pain was gone with only pain in certain movements. After the 5th and final week I was at 80 percent and pain was almost completely gone. I'm now 3 weeks into physical therapy and my therapist is amazed at how quickly my strength and mobility is progressing at each visit, especially for someone my age. The staff was by far the best part of my experience at Pinnacle. During my visits I interacted with every member of the staff. Every one was friendly and professional. The injections I received in my joint can be painful. However, the expertise of the staff ensured it was as pain free as possible. Given what I do and the hundreds of visits to medical facilities over the years, you know if someone is good at their job, especially with long needles. I've had nerves hit, tendons hit, and bones hit. Not pleasant. Given the complexity of the shoulder it is a minefield of pain waiting to happen. The professionals at Pinnacle never made a single misstep. Not one. It was truly amazing. I'd never had acupuncture before and that was an eye opening experience. It was so relaxing. And then there was Tam, behind the front desk. He has a great personality and was always making sure you were comfortable and taken care of. His communication about appointments was excellent sending reminders and making sure you knew what was going on.
