The physicians I visited prior to Dr. Kramm, all provided me good information with regards to relieving my symptoms. However, Dr. Kramm was the first doctor to spend over 40 minutes looking up and diagnosing my prior lab results (blood panels etc.,) and authoritatively providing me with a diagnosis and a series of future tests and steps I needed to take. She was exceptionally kind and patient with me; she explained everything in a way I could understand. I couldn't be more thankful and grateful. I would sing the praises of Dr. Kramm and the University of Washington, Montlake to everyone I know. My visit with Dr. Kramm, greatly exceeded my expectations. She is literally my lifesaver. Knowing she was at the helm of my treatment plan, gave me hope that I could live more normally and longer with my potentially life -threatening disease.

My experience with Dr. Kramm was incredibly disappointing; if I could leave 0 stars, I would…read more Throughout the entire visit, I felt completely unheard and unseen. Due to my complex medical history, three different doctors referred me to a rheumatologist. I chose to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kramm based on her positive online reviews, but I felt unwelcomed from the moment she walked through the door. She barely made eye contact, didn't ask follow-up questions as I explained my symptoms, and refused to look at the medical images I brought to reference. Instead, she simply copied past notes from other providers into my chart and told me she could not do anything more for me, dismissing me back to my previous doctors. She was incredibly short with me, insisted she wasn't the right fit, and even suggested I shouldn't have come to see her in the first place. When I asked for a clear reason why she couldn't help me, she couldn't give me one. I absolutely do not recommend her. Now, it's back to square one.

Dr. Carkin has been my rheumatologist since her time at Minor & James (so many years) and changed my life. I shudder to think how I would manage my autoimmune disease without her. She truly deserves her Best in Seattle awards. Standing with her are all the staff and medical assistants who make my care there seamless. They called me once because I needed to reschedule a visit. I remembered to call back right after they closed. A day later, they called me again, just like that, saving me from my forgetfulness. The infusion center is also amazing and does some high level magic to get everyone scheduled, then moved around when things change. Everyone is nice, courteous and understanding of the issues that bring us to the clinic, so you don't have to explain, ask people to wear masks or anything else. In a world where chronic illness makes you feel abnormal, I feel normal and welcome at TSAC. I've seen several practitioners there and they are all equally good. Yes, you absolutely need another physician's referral to be seen there. TSAC has a great reputation and their services are in very high demand. I'm very grateful.

I have to agree with the other two women's reviews on this (possibly a pattern here?) about how…read morepoorly I was treated by Dr. Solomon. I came in with a tentative diagnosis from my PCP with Lupus SLE (which runs in my family) and tests showing positive speckled ANA, very high inflammation rate in the low twenties, etc. I was feeling rather wretched that day, as it was a cold snowy day and the Reynaud's was acting up. Without having examined me, Dr. Solomon announced I had sleep apnea! No tests, no exam, not having gone over anything in my chart with me, not even a blood pressure check (which is very low). I was absolutely shocked. I'd lost weight from the mono and walking pneumonia (something I'd mentioned when making the appt), so I have no idea where he was getting this from - certainly not a sleep study! I'd never had one at that time. I was in tears when I left, marched back to my PCP's office and demanded to see another Rheumatologist. We had to fight my insurance company, they didn't want to pay for another one, of course. It was a miserable, horrible fight. Dear Dr. Solomon, if you read these reviews: It is now twelve years later. I have had two sleep studies to diagnose RLS and insomnia. I ***STILL*** do not have sleep apnea, Dr. Solomon! What I do have is Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Something you might have caught all those years ago if you had bothered to treat me as a human being and had an ounce of professionalism or compassion. When I mentioned your treatment to my new rheumatolgist they had your name on the tip of their tongue, Dr. Solomon. Your reputation among your fellow Rheumies is quite something that merely describing the incident, not even the town your office is in, and they knew exactly who you were! Turns out, they've treated a lot of your patients after the patients left you out of frustration. I'm grateful to be among them.

I'm a patient of Dr. Solomon and I have been for almost 10 years. One of the first things he said…read moreto me was "Just because there isn't a test for it, doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with you". I had a supposedly rare reaction to an antibiotic. No doctor would listen to me. No doctor would help me but Dr. Solomon did. Not only did he listen but he researched what was happening in my body. He researched the drug. He referred me to other specialists and ultimately found a test that confirmed the damage done in my body. I honestly don't think I'd be here today if it weren't for Dr. Solomon. He saved my life and I will forever be grateful to him. I highly recommend him. If you want a doctor that listens to you, let's you take part in your own healthcare, then in my opinion Dr. Solomon is the doctor for you. Quite frankly, I'm shocked and saddened by the four poor reviews left here by other women. My experience with Dr. Solomon has been an exact 180 from what they have described. I don't hesitate to refer patients to him and I've never heard anything but good things from those that I have referred. So Dr. Solomon if you do read reviews about yourself, thank you. Thank you for always giving me your time and listening to what I'm saying and letting me be part of my treatment. You are the best and you deserve ten stars!

Long story short, she saved my life entirely due to her incredible attention to detail, with a need to always prioritize her patients safety. She uncovered an unruptured brain aneurysm that would have either killed me or left me disabled. My allergies and sinuses had been bothering me for years, and I wanted some advice. She was incredibly attentive and thorough in all of my visits with her. She sent me for a hearing test and and allergy test and while I had some imaging of my sinuses, she went above and beyond normal guidelines and sent me for a CT scan that led to the aneurysm finding, an incidental finding, entirely based on her experience and instincts. Aneurysm has been stented, and I will be glad to have Dr. Farid finally do my Septoplasty. So incredibly lucky to have been referred to Dr. Farid!!! She really takes her time with patients, and is a great listener. I have never ever felt rushed n our many appointments. You are lucky if also found her :)

She discovered within minutes that what another provider had dismissed as routine polyps in my sinus area was much more serious. In the same day, I was in MRI--she discovered it was cancer, and saw me through the entire process of getting me diagnosed, biopsied and nearly 2 years later I am cancer free. Her office staff cares and actually answers the phone, too..... This is the first review I have ever written online, so that kind of says it all.
